I agree some calls were missed and I do not approve of running the goalie. However from the start the Canadians had a sense of urgency and had puck possession more than the Swedes did. The Canadian PP was deadly, at one point they were 61% and finished with an even 50% (21-42). The Swedes were taking some emotional penalties right from the start and the die was cast.
Look at Ontario. Population around 13 million. Closer total of registered hockey players. Most players on Canada's team is from Ontario. Take Ontario's top Junior team and they will still beat Sweden most of the time.
as a canadian the 2 times markstrom got run into were penalties. i do believe that when a goalie comes out that far you can check him and even hit him but that was a trip. problem is swedes is that markstrom dove early in this game. and if refs see that they dont have much sympathy for you. by marstrom takin an early dive he screwed the rest of the game up

The IIHF European bias is ridiculous ... the only things they consider are The IIHF World Championship from each of the last 4 years and the last Olympic Tournament (which is given the same weight as a single IIHF Championship) not to mention the fact they hold the world championship during the nhl playoffs so canada cant send crosby, toews and our best players
