Did anyone have any doubt about the number one spot in this list?
+Atif Rana Yes, The Interceptor deserves the top spot. With the delorean at 2 or 3.
+Atif Rana At number two, I actually had no fucking idea what number one would be for some reason....
Yes I Thought It Would Be The Supra Or Charger From The Fast And The Furious
Tfatf is nowhere near as good as back to the future
Nah dude they got the number one spot perfect
"herbie couldn't be more american if he tried" despite being a german car....
Nièn!!!
He was built on a US Military base according to the '97 TV movie.
And having the fucking french flag painted all over hahaha
Cain Nuke 😂
Exactly
How could you leave out the Bullitt Mustang??
+Ian Leszczynski oh shit youre right!!
Eddy Davis Do like that Michael Keaton Batmobile though!
no doubt it is mad cool.
She also forgot Lightning McQueen.
The Blues Brothers "Blues Mobile" ????
"yes. herbie couldn't be more American if he tried,"
in spite of the German manufacturer...
and the fact that the red-white-blue combo is also present on the flags of Britain, France, Netherlands, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Norway, Australia, New Zealand.
and the fact that the number 53 probably has about 300000000 different other meanings..,
You know Herbie should've been number 1
Vin Diesel's charger from Fast And Furious was missed!!! How?? Thats a dream vehicle for many of us
Or General Lee Charger. Damn
Not a MOVIE car.
You telling me that lee is not a movie car?? what about dukes of hazard?
Did they ever make a movie for DoH, or was it only a TV series? I thought it was only a TV series.
Yes! That beast of a car needs to have a place on this list!
Yes! My favorite movie is Back to the Future and my favorite car is the Delorean time machine.
I've always wanted to own 1 of these cars when I saw back to the future for the first time
Me too ....
My fourth favourite film of all time , but favourite car Aston Martin DB5!
How about some from the movie 'The Wraith'? Not just the Dodge, but the bad guys Corvette is amazing!
wait, how about Bluesmobile and more important, 1967 Ford Mustang Eleanor?!
The real Eleanor you speak of is a 1973 mustang fastback is the real gone in 60 seconds produced by h.b. halicki
***** Bullitt is iconic, too. But jg24fn is being a breath of fresh air, mentioning the original Gone in 60 seconds, when they used ONE CAR for ALL the stunts, and the stunts were REAL.
Nah, Mustang Mach 1 is better
No doubt. I'll take a real car doing it's own stunts, over a hollywood car who's jump was movie tricks any day.
nobody cares
"At Number 2: Batmobile from the Batman franchise..."
Me: WTF?!?! There is a better car than the Tumbler?!?!
"At Number 1: The DeLorean..."
Me: Of course!!!
Shahid M Zubair because everyone knows the delorean
You forget the Lincoln Continental Mark III in the 1977 movie "The Car" ! It was also re-used in Futurama when Bender become a "Werecar" in "The Honking" (season 3 ep 2)
"There was no driver in the car..."
I agree. Back to the future car is the best movie car.
No bat mobile stupid
+Anakin Warden nope
+Yoketat Foo it is awsome love that time machine
Yoketat Foo yea but I wish they had night rider in second and bat mobile third
+
Jeffrey
Batmobile can't fly or time travel.
I'm surprised that Bumblebee isn't higher on the list considering that he's in a league of his own with total sentience, opposable thumbs, and alien cannons. I'm also disappointed that the Batmobile's Chevy counterpart, the Green Hornet's Black Beauty, isn't on the list. It's armed to the teeth from stinger missiles to suicide door guns.
The Dark Knight's bat-car I think should have been number 1, it looks like it could punch any other car so hard that it would shit out it's skeleton.
what about lightning mcqueen?
lmao
+XxThEImPxX he is animated
+XxThEImPxX nah man mater the tow truck
+Nathaniel Donald 2 words
DOC
HUDSON
nah luigi from cars or guido
You left of the Bluesmobile?!?! WTF?
I KNEW that that sucker was first! ;) All Hail to the DeLorean!
No.
Then why don't you make like a tree and get out of here?
JanarzIP Classic Biff Tannen :D
Uh oh either Sinclair is too much of a batman fan or a ghostbusters fan cuz everyone knows the delorean will always be the most iconic and best movie car
NOOO ALL HAIL THE BAT BITCHES
There was a famous car chase in that movie, but in terms of fame of the car itself (which is what this list is about) Bullitt lost out to Christine and we inserted her in the list instead... (then the rank got finalized).
You forgot camaro( bumblebee)
“Ectomobile”
It’s Ecto-1
Christine is a 1958 Plymouth fury
it's build in 57 but it's a 58 model
I caught that too
I already said that.
Did the 58s come stock in white/gold?
@@exclusiveturtles yea, it was really a 57 Belvedere, no fury’s came in red but that would have been badass
The car from the Wraith was badass!
Thank you. I said right at the start that if The Wraith wasn't on the list then there was no point for the list. I agree with Christine, ECTO-1, Batmobile, Delorean. Everything else I can take or leave.
Fantastic car.
My favorite car of all time
elenor from gone in 60 seconds
dom's charger from fast and furious
challenger from vanishing point
the 68 mustang from bullitt
gt500 from death race
green grand tourino from fast and furious 2009.
proper movie cars
i know right! there smoking crack!
great scott!! we need to fix this list so we can see more
I was waiting for Eleanor. Dropped the ball on that one guys.
Which one is that?
No Eleanor from Gone in 60 seconds or Dodge Challenger from The Vanishing Point. Or the mustang from Bullit.
what do you expect? They didn't even get the year right for Goldfinger !! It was from 1964, not 65...neither did they include anything from The Fast and the Furious series and that series is centred around cars and racing !!
cazia9 But they didn't have any truly iconic cars in the Fast and the Furious.
This video is bull and besides the bandit should've been higher
Or the Charger driven by the villains in Bullitt.
What do u mean no iconic cars in fast and furious how about the charger?
It might not fit in this list, but the norwegian animation movie Pinchcliffe Grand Prix from 1975 featured the awesome/insane car Il Tempo Gigante. The movie was so wildly popular in Norway that they actually built the car in real life, working and all!
The final race in the movie is also said to have inspired George Lucas' pod racing scene from Star Wars (see both movies and you will know why), and holds a really recent 8,2 rating at IMDB!
But still not just about the race, this movie got a great plot, charming characters, nice artwork and a solid soundtrack. Damnit, now I have to see it again..
What about the shelby gt500 from gone is 60 seconds
In*
Yep...that is number one no doubt....
No the original Elanor from the original Gone in 60 Seconds, a 1973 Mustang Mach1. Not the suck Nick Cage version.
I'm sorry, but I'll take a 67 GT500 over a 71. Mach I any day!
+k re the Eleanor in the original is just an ugly ass car
Dominic torreto's 1970 charger
Fast and furious franchise
the Turbo Interceptor from "The Wraith". on that time (1986) that car was modern and cool.
How 'bout that Charger. Fast and the Furious had that badass Charger.
Nothing about Fast and Furious is iconic...
Mojo I normally agree with your list but this time around you left off some very important cars. 1. Eleanor from the movie Gone In 60 Seconds. 2. The Bullitt car from the movie Bullitt and my personal fav. You kind of included this car when you mentioned Bateman man but it was mortified from it original body. The 1955 Futura from the movie It Started With A Kiss.
Christine is a 1958 model bought in September of 1957, when the next year's car models can be bought.
I'd love to see Elenoir Mustagn GT500, and the Dodge Charger from Fa&Fu
But its a top 10 so their isnt enough room.
No fast and furious supra , eclipse ? Or 2f2f skyline or mitsubishi evo ?
Ort he Charger R/T from Dom
SenorTireSlayer ™ Yeah
SigaDaniel It said movie car. How many cars are in the Fast and Furious franchise, let me re ask this How many cars are in one Fast and Furious movie? They don't stay with one car just a squad of them. As for Ectomobile Christine, Herbie we all know who they are. Fast and Furious are more driving skills and style then the car hate to say it but yeah.
CJ Sipes Fair enough point, but there is no car from the series as iconic as Dom's Charger
cuCUMber Cause all we need are a bunch of ricers to ruin the list
Including Herbie, the Ecto-1, the Interceptor, and the DeLorean were no-brainers, as far as famous movie cars are concerned, which is why I'm glad you did.
Christine! Best looking car of the group! The 1958 Plymouth Fury was one of the most beautiful cars ever made!
What about the car in MIB?
If you ever make a Top 10 TV-Show-Cars, be sure to include the Impala from Supernatural! and of course the A-Team-Van.
Don't forget the Starsky & Hutch "Striped Tomato" Ford Gran Torino, KITT, and [OF COURSE] the General Lee; in that order from #3 to #1.
The only right list you've ever made. The Delorean must be the first one
Dang I was surprised, didn't think they would have the trans am, but I was really happy to see it on the list
the mustangs from Gone in 60 Seconds and the mustang from Bullit
Bullit, yes. That Nic Cage Abomination of a Reboot? No. The Original? Yes.
GoredonTheDestroyer
i see what you're talking about there. LOVE the original, HATE the abomination remake.
04:25 Well, technically, Herbie was a german.... But its interesting to see that the racing scenes in "Love Bug" are looking really fast despite the fact that the VW Beetle just had aprox 20 horsepowers.
oh my God I love the Interceptor from Mad Max and Herbie has always been my favorite
Can you do some research on the jet engine used in the second batmobile?
In my opinion the list should be like this:
1. Batmobile
2.Delorean
3.Aston Martin (007)
4.Black Beauty (Green Hornet)
5.Bumblebee
Just my opinion...
i am glad that Herbie is here but really? no mach 5?
That's anime...
Good list, MOJO, but Christine was a 1958 Fury, not a '57. However, they did use modified 57 Fury and Belvedere models in the film due to the low number of 58's available.
I cannot believe the Wagon Queen Family Truckster from National Lampoon's Vacation didn't make this list. Behind the DeLorean in BTTF and Ecto-1 from Ghostbusters, it immediately comes to my mind.
I was hoping to see the Bluesmobile and the Thunderbird from Thelma and Louise.
What about Eleanor 1967 gt 500 good mustang???
Ford*
I'm sorry but the fact that the 1968 mustang from Bullitt is not even on this list makes the whole list bullshit
vikes4life0 I know it’s the BEST movie car. Especially the chase scene
vikes4life0 I agree
Nein
Where's the Blues-Mobile? Let's stretch the term "car" a little and mention Rubber Duck's Mack R from Convoy and Peter Fonda's Panhead from Easy Rider.
Woohoo, the Interceptor made the list. A Falcon Coupe was my dream car when I was a teenager.
Nissan skyline gtr r34 from fast and furious one iconic car
Too right.
Hell Yeah!
"Cars made famous because they were in a movie." Not "Already well known cool cars, that happened to be in a movie."
It's not just because of F&F it's iconic, it's as iconic as Ford Mustang, just from the other side of the planet!
***** & in Tokyo Drift he was driving a Plymouth Roadrunner
want about the toyota supra from fast and furious
you can't do a car from f&f because they change cars every 2 seconds
Dom's charger is pretty iconic though
And Nissan Skyline
the toyota supra that only appears in one of eight movies and after we never know nothing about it? that supra?
foxy its not special nothing on it
What about the 3 minis and the E type jag from "The Italian job "
The 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T from "Vanishing Point". That film made the white Challenger an Iconic American car!
I can't believe the Wraith wasn't on the list...
I was waiting for the video to finish to see if the wraith was in it. That car was nice. It should have made it.
Exactly i love the dodge m4s
For me the best cars are Dominic's 1969 dodge charger r/t (fast and furious)
Han's mazda rx7 (fast and furious 3)
And Shelby gt500 1969 Eleanor (Steal in 60 seconds (i think i wrote it wrong :P))
Thank you for including "The Pursuit Special" from Mad Max and getting the details right. Also, you forgot "The Car" .. that evil piece of machinery from the film of the same name. That's probably the most evil looking car ever designed for a film.
I agree "The Car" was more evil looking then Christine,The Car should have been number 1 in my books
How did you miss both the bluesmobile from the blues bros and the car from the car
Sheep dog? Nope. What about the 68 mustang gt from bullit or Eleanor from gone in 60 seconds.
Lightning McQueen from cars?!?!
This isbonlt the classic cars from the 19's
what about the blues mobile?? the vanishing point challenger??
I love your videos but i think i am going to have to call shenanigans since the bat mobile appeared on TV before it appeared in the movies, but it was still eligible while the General Lee which has done the same thing wasn't
I never liked how they made transformers into a GM commercial, although I liked how they chose an old camaro, it was insulting, how the girl said that it was a piece of junk, and then it goes off and copies a "modern" camaro, which was the commercial ploy all along...
Do you think that movie ever would have got made if not for the GM product placement, somebody had to pay for all that CGI.
What about Lightning McQueen? He's awesome enough to make this list.
true
True
Actually,I have to agree with this.
I think they were only doing live action cars. While I love the cars franchise, McQueen is animated, so he wouldn't make the cut for live action cars.
he was in top 10 sentinet vehicles from Watch Mojo
Christine and the Last V8 Interceptor should have been higher. Glad to see they made the list though. :)
I missed the 1968 Mustang Fastback from Bullit. This car ist so Iconic that their ist no Mustang Review with out a mention of this car.
No love for the Bluesmobile?
It's got a cop motor, a 440 cubic inch plant, it's got cop tires, cop suspension, cop shocks. It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
deltree Fix the cigarette lighter!
If top gear did this list I would be happy
Then James Bond Aston would be #1
2:08 - "This 1973 Ford Falcon..." Is that the Inteceptor in that shot? Looks like a modified Holden Ute to me...
what was the name of the music at 5:11?
Bull shit
DOMS CHARGER FTW
Johnathan Mendoza #fnf
Sorry but no car movie list is complete without the cars from Bullitt, Gone in 60 Seconds, Fast and the Furious and Ronin.
coolcatr that S8 was awesome. Also Bullitt... ICONIC
I can't belive you guys didn't include the General Lee
What happened to the Bluesmobile, the "cop car" from the Blues Brother?
Eleanor anyone ?
+bboynever for that matter... Cobra???
2f2f skyline or doms charger anyone????
What about the 69 dodge Daytona from fast and furious
It makes sense that Christine's movie starts with the song 'Bad to the Bone', because Christine certainly is as 'bad to the bone' as a car can get!
The Aston Martin DB5 is by far the best and of course now celebrating 50 years! The Lotus Esprit also brilliant. And don't forget this year's Aston Martin DB10 from Spectre.
Bullitt's mustang should've been on the list.
where da heck is da greeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeen hornet
Tridoron from Kamen Rider Drive. Its a car which kinda mimics Kit from nightrider but its a fun concept plus launching tires at your opponent with Tire Koukan!
What about the Dodge M4S Turbo Interceptor from The Wraith?
not ELEANOR! she's the best 67 Shelby Mustang GT500!
Amen brother! The mythical unicorn we all want to own one day!
+Owen Cushing hell yes
The Pursuit special and Christine should have been higher
Mike Tymchuk The XB Falcon should have been 4 or hell even 3
Cruella’s Panther De Ville (101 Dalmatians live action franchise and 2021 Cruella movie)? It should be one of these!
I would have added Cobra's car in there and the car from Reservoir dogs has a special place in my heart even if this wasn't a car with that much of presence.
COME ON NO MACH 5 FROM SPEED RACER 😂
Probably because that one is animated
where is the fast and the furious 69" dodge charger r/t
or the R34 or supra
hey if you ever do tv show cars you should consider the Impala from supernatural!
The Ghostbusters car was not called the Ectomobile. The actual name Ecto-1. When Ghostbusters 2 came out, they updated the look of the car and the name changed to Ecto-1A.
the Batmobile of course.
What about the 1971 Lincoln Continental from "The Car"?
thats right....loved that car, loved the way it was designed and that air horn....man gotta love that air horn, it meant ur death was near
sithlord1626 It's on my "if I ever win the lottery list" along with Christine and the Happy Toyz truck from Maximum Overdrive.
yes forgot the truck from MO....and did u know they do make the modified lincoln somewhere in NY, around $6500.00....its one of those kit cars
Never heard of MO, but interesting about the modified Lincoln in NY.
it meant maximum overdrive
What about The Blues Mobile from the original Blues Brothers?
Come on what about Vanishing Point 1970 Dodge Challenger R/T ?
I would put Mustang Eleonor from Gone in 60 Seconds on top 10.
What about the Shelby GT500 from Gone in 60 Seconds.
The gt500 from gone in 60 seconds is called eleanor
I know otherwise I wouldn't comment but I just always referred to by the full name in person.
Actually I usually would also say 1967 (I think that's what model) but even Memphis switched between the two throughout the movie.
it was a 1967 shelby gt500
KraVe Kryptonit Eleanorr
You left out Bullitt's Green Mustang! Lightning McQueen (ironically not named for Steve McQueen, but a well known Hollywood lighting director.
My mom and dad got married in my dads Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, it was black and had the golden phinix on the hood just like Smokey and the Bandit.
