ᴴᴰᴿ ⁴ᴷ⁶⁰ New R211T Subway Cars Undergoing Burn-In Tests On The (R) Line

On Tuesday night, October 3rd, 2023,
The R211T open-gangway subway cars were sent out of Coney Island Yard to undergo Burn-In tests along the Broadway Local line, making simulated stops all the way up to the Forest Hills - 71 Avenue station in Queens. After the subway cars entered Forest Hills, the train long relayed then Operated back down the line to Coney Island yard, where testing was completed for the night.

I been saying that for the longest time now, this is what transit needs to spend it’s money on is fixing up these stations because alot of them look like crap, I mean I love my city and it’s Transit Network don’t get me wrong but alot of these stations could use some serious upgrades.

@@jonathancho8807 I know that the R211s are going to the A C E F and R lines for high ridership and CBTC. R211s are more capacity than the R160s. The R211T are on the C line. After that, they might go to rockaway shuttle or whatever line.

Once it reaches the 30 day test phase where it will run in service for 30 days and can not have any major problems within the time span that’s usually when the rest begin to roll out
