Does it make sense, you ask? More than you know. As a nonfarming kid, you don't realize how completely everything is interconnected and works together. Cover crop prevents erosion and provides cattle feed. Cattle gleen the leftovers of harvest and corn stalks get shredded and baled possibly for cattle bedding. You didn't say, so I'm guessing. But the point is nothing goes to waste, and everything increases profit for the farm. No matter what you video, it's all part of the learning process. Thanks! 🤓
I didn't notice a button in the 8R but on the left of the steering column in the 8345R is a white button. That should be the cold start assist, most likely an intake air heater. Some of the older tractors used the same button but it was to actuate an either injector which was under the hood. I'd assume the 8345 would have an intake heater though rather than an either injector. Possible the 8R button is located somewhere else, maybe you turn the key to run then hold it in for 20 seconds to operate the heater or it could automatically turn on under a preset ambient temperature. Keep on filming, your videos are obviously not scripted that's what makes them great. I feel that too many of the larger farming channel videos are scripted and it takes away from the video.
There is a RUclips channel that I follow based on a ranch in Wyoming. They use a lead steer to help them move cattle from pasture to pasture. The steer is twelve plus years old. Just curious, do you think that this would help you with your operation?
No content of your videos are boring actually! It's what it is! Thanks for sharing what you can and may God keep on keeping on !

You are always making nice content Cale - it is really really nice to follow 🙂
Them batteries always give y'all fits. You need Interstate, DieHard or Optima to sponsor the channel. 😂
It's a constant battle.

Commercial construction calls those space heaters Salamanders.
Two 12v batteries in series will give you 24v. Two 12v in parallel will stay 12v.
4 12’s in parallel is 12volts 4 12’s in series is 48volts
How do your cattle get water when they are in the field? Do you bring them in every night?
@@jhansendad good question. I fill cattle tanks out of the Irrigation well water in the middle of the field.

My manager used to tell me that "you can lead a horse to water but you cannot make him swim on his back."

Cale, The land of milk and honey was my hometowns nickname. Goshen, CT.
that truck needs a starter
Suggestion; put small solar panels (vertically) on the tractors to trickle-charge the batteries?
overnight?

@@PhotoArtBrussels the chargers will not be able to keep up with the amount of energy the tractors use while they are working
@ The intention is as a trickle charger when not in use, to help avoid dead batteries.
@@PhotoArtBrussels A tractor works about 16 hours a day. They just don't make batteries big enough
Honey attracts more flies than vinegar, but shit does even better
How many cattle do you have
Ever gonna fix that light? Lol
Trickle chargers?
I always wore a motorcycle helmet while shredding or bush hogging with an open-station tractor. It saved my noggin more than once! ☺☺☺
