- There are many types of fighting games, but what about mobile fighting games? Most of the time it's just boxing or muay thai, but in 2014 Hello There Games tried to break the mold with Taekwondo Global Tournament, a game faithful to the martial arts it's based on, but it had issues that kept it from truly becoming something iconic.

I remember playing this game when i was little. As far as i remember, we can pick one of three emotes after winning a match

It's at the end of the video, Shadow Fight is one of the best mobile fighting games so I didn't wanna show it right away.

well thank god actual fighting games are pretty easy to find nowadays, i was basically trying to find water in a desert until heard about emulation (ppsspp, duckstation, flycast). And trying to find one that actually has combos is even harder (looking at YOU shadow fight for not having an authentic combo system).
Lol yeah, if there was no ports your best bet was emulation. And while Shadow Fight might not have traditional combos I do like it's charm of having realistic hits.
they even have switch emulator now, it's crazy
It'd be nice if they added the ITF taekwondo's fighting style too
You see, there are two main institutions which continued taekwondo's legacy
One is the wtf and the other one is the itf.
A clear characteristic of the itf which makes it different to wtf is it's uses for punches and among other things so yeah, i would've liked to see both styles in the game.
I would've loved that, it could give players options to choose between move sets too and maybe pick and choose their attacks to make it more interesting.

Few years back then there was a fighting game called metal revolution which used by far one of the closest to be an actual fighting game on mobile. Too bad it was shut down due to the devs not being able to support it anymore

Well to be honest there is some games that are really good and they're underrated like vita fighters and snag
I looked them up and I agree they look really cool especially Vita Fighters, it reminds me of Blox Fruits on Roblox.

Vitafighters kinda addicting especially with that one character that straight up just looks like garou but with red hair.

Which had an IOS port of MK3. Don't know how well that one plays when compared to the DS version.
Also, this goes to show how a story can help a game in the long run - Zombieville much?

Also I agree, having a story mode for Zombieville would be a nice touch, even though there's literally no lore, the small character backgrounds added a bit of context to the game and could've been perfect building blocks for a story. Hopefully in Zombieville 3D they add that.

It's called Punch Hero, but it's no longer available since the developers removed it from the app store. I actually have a video that explains what happened to the game if you want to check it out and learn more.
