The Koala's name is "Yookie" and he is a professional gamer.
Pokemon Competitive Singles in Gen 3 OU is a world where Claydol reigns supreme.
Claydol is the most popular Rapid Spin user in the game thanks to its fantastic Typing, the tremendous ability Levitate granting a Spike immunity, and even Explosion allowing it to trade with Key targets and have dynamic uses.
Over time Claydol has only risen in usage and viability, proving to be a Perfect fit in this metagame with a Versatility in how it can be used as a resource, which top players really value.

Some will never figure out how to get Claydol in Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. But famous player Jim Cool is well aware of the Best Claydol Moveset in Competitive, and even how to Claydol Shiny Farm. Many aren't and never will be. That's just the unfortunate reality of the world.
    Arceus exists.
The below text is very relevant to many people.
Game Freak just blew all other online game development schools out of the water with this incredible new 2022 release. You're gonna need to get a game design degree online, and FAST, if you want to make a better game than this. Not even the best strategy games android reddit could hold a candle to this breathtaking Next generation competitive Pokemon experience.
Scream Tail is the Jigglypuff of our wildest dreams. It has been buffed with some higher statistics and the incredible ability, Protosynthesis. Gen 9 Competitive Pokemon wouldn't be the same without this powerful pink blob. He kinda looks like someone I met in one of my game design and development courses.
Gen 9 Pokemon Showdown is one of the greatest online gaming sites in history. From Pikachu and Charizard, to Palafin and Roaring Moon, The new Pokemon games, Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, have introduced a lot of new faces. Can I succeed in one of the best android games of all time? If so, I'm gonna get myself a Walmart bakery Pokemon cake to celebrate.
Gholdengo is a Pokemon made of pure gold. He must have done some online business management courses to accumulate all that wealth. Or perhaps he might want to learn how to make money playing video games on RUclips. In any case, he's a powerful metagame force, with absolutely no interest in online game development schools.

    Jimothy,
it has recently been brought to my attention that Wailord is a Large Pokémon, and I believe it can play a large role in the unfolding Horse Council drama, as well. With its prodigious size, Wailord is inarguably the best Pokémon at carrying people across the sea using the Surf technique, and as "carrying people" is a pivotal qualification for a horse, this could qualify Wailord as at the very least horse-adjacent. With that out of the way, Wailord's potential advantages are threefold:
    (1) Wailord's large frame provides a much-needed counterweight to the very small Horsea.
    (2) Wailord can use its move "Soak" to transform Magcargo into a water type, allowing it to shrug off Bubble beams without a second thought.
    (3) Wailord has access to the move "Water Spout", which produces quantities of water so large that even Iron Mugulus would not be able to hold them.
These features, as well as Wailord itself, seem clearly too big to ignore. Since it can both change the power dynamics between Horsea and Magcargo *and* fend off Iron Mugulus's advance, Wailord might even succeed at bringing this entire terrible crisis to an end and carry the entire Horse Council on its back.

Claydol is neat. It's got such a nice set of resistances, and is bulky, but still reasonably fast for a wall. In modern generations, it's suffering because of how offensively busted Ghost and Dark are, it doesn't have any sort of recovery move, and it's just way too passive for modern standards. But in Gen 3, none of those issues matter.

It makes me think that a team of six wouldn't be able to capitalize off of everything Claydol can do. So it's like, yeah you 1v1'ed Aerodactyl but does your team even have anything particularly weak to Aerodactyl?

I know i personally would rather just kill a spikes setter and then clean up instead of spamming spikes and rapid spin until someone runs out of PP.
I'm not into competitive but like these analysis videos and just expected that to come up. I also would have sworn that Claydol learned flamethrower in gen 3, but i must be getting confused with Tate & Liza's Solrock.
