So... New Insignia drive units: 1.5L 140HP is available with M32 6 speed manual only 1.5L 165HP is available with GM 6T40 6 speed automatic transmission or M32 6 speed manual transmission 1.6 CDTI 110HP is available with M32 6 speed manual tranny only. 1.6 CDTI 136HP gets automatic 6T45 or M32 6 speed manual 2.0L 260HP 4x4 gets 8 speed automatic AF50-8 (Aisin AWF8F45) only, no manual options. 2.0L CDTI 170HP FWD is available with AF50-8 or F40 6 speed manual but when you want 4x4 option it can be fitted with F40 6 speed manual only. 2.0L CDTI biturbo 210HP 4x4 is available with AF50-8 automatic only, no manual options..
It's a pity when put 1.5l on a 5-meter good-looking limousine! Let's hope in OPC version will keep old, very good V6 turbo ... and they will not be bewildered by something 2.0l "super sport" .
Yep ...and the previous Insignia OPC came with a 2.9 V6 turbo from 325 to 410 hp. But now with Peugeot we will laugh at the "super" sporty 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder and up to 260 hp. ... like I say It's a pity.
Vibration. The infrared sensor sees the vibration as less light coming in (i.e. vibrating the sensor gives the same result as water reflecting and refracting the light from the sensor during normal operation). My old SEAT Ibiza had the same thing, you could tap the rain sensor and it would think it was raining. Newer and more expensive cars have better sensors. And now you know.
Speed differential with the right lane too great for my taste. Blaming the other driver doesn't bring you back to life. Take it to the track. Opels are nice cars.
i have 2007 opel astra h 1.9 cdti with 150 hp and it goes a lot faster from 190kmh to 225 kmh. this one with 165 really goes slow. must be because of petrol engine
i agree but still my astra is 10 years old and euro4 engine and this one is euro6. don't get me wrong, i still like it but for me this is poor performance for this engine
i agree. on opel website in my country which is Croatia, they claim that with this engine insignia will do 9.4 sec to 100 kmh and he made it in 8.5 in this video
But you have more torque and astra lighter than insignia its normal. I think automatic transmission for fuel economy maybe manual transmission better for acceleration. Opel doing better acceleration for manual transmission everytime.

That speedometer is super accurate !
Are you going to test the 260hp version?
Try the new range rover. Or a vw polo 2018
Please test Opel insignia grand sport 1.6 200 hp

In America its going to be sold the 3.6l v6 in the regal.

PSA play no role in the development of the Insignia B. The Car was ready before PSA gets Opel.
That's why we're going to see a 2.0-liter GSI version instead of a real V6 OPC!
What is that sound at 1:04, I hope it is not the gearbox
What kind of gasoline work with?

2:56 why did wipers activate by themself? Wtf

Plague Angel Really? So you're basically saying this new Opel is using older inferior technology? Damn..
Opel isn't really known for its superior latest technology. Engines are pretty good sure - but it's no BMW/Mercedes/Audi when it comes to new tech...
were is that road?
Insignia mea de 140 caluti fuge mult mai bine si are 300k km

Very long 6th gear in Insignia
@@DarioK93 I have w210 170hp and it's way faster :D how about that ? w210 is eaven hevyer
gearbox is very slow
gerard menvuca Why do you say that? How do you tell?
Not really. It is quite impressive that is can swung that heavy beast of a car with only 1.5 4 cyl. engine up to 100 km/h in just 8.5 seconds.. ;)
