Hey I just wanna say my comment was really ignorant and I was going through a tough time in my life but now I'm in a better mental place and I can see that the man is playing his soul out and I can respect any man who plays music with such passion and intensity
I can’t believe that people don’t get that this is a COVER, and covers are usually a way to change aspects of a songs to not do it the same way as it was before, christ. what’s the fun on not being creative on a cover? you guys are just kind of annoying.
Yeah i play and when people want to do a cover I always try to change it a little and make it my own in some way. Not only is doing a note perfect rendition of a famous song boring but you’re probably not going to do it better than the original. It’s like Creep. Everyone wants to cover Creep. But Radiohead’s version is perfect. You’re not going to improve on its and it’s been covered a million times before…..so what’s the fucking point? Seriously if I hear another local band cover Creep I’ll fart! I swear I will just fart!
