got to say I prefer the look of the S16 to the GTI 6 facelift and from exerience the less sporty models have exceptional ride quality while retaining good handling.
I just know one day your gonna be big on you tube, i can just see it what with the brilliant camera qualities, different angles and brilliant information!
My first car. Picked it up for $900. Heater didn't work and I ran it up the back of a hilux at low speed. Replaced the headlight and sold it with a dent in the bonnet. Awesome little go karts that seem to be shooting up in value if you can find one.
Nice car and looks to be a Phase 1 model of 306. I've owned three 2.0 XSi models and still drive one, with two being 16v and the other an 8v which was my favourite. Oh and cruise control was an optional feature but probably pricey. One thing you might not realise is that the 306 has passive rear wheel steering, to help it corner better. The GTi models although more recent, tend to be owned by boy racer chavs and end up being thrashed to death. So it can be more difficult in England at least, to find a GTi in good non-molested condition.
Thank you for your comment. I did not really know that the car had passive rear wheel steering. But it sure did handled really well. As for the GTi model at least you can find some in U.K. Here in Australia, they are very uncommon.
i have this 306 s16 for 13 years very nice car gti 6 im sure was more powerfull car but this one had a gread suspension abs gread aircondition but after13 years due to some expenses i decide to sell the car but still miss my peugeot
The 306 S16 has an nice engine sure. BUT the interior 'quality' if you can name it like that is such shi* from the dashbord over doorpanels, the carpet, seats to the trunk and the fabric in it.... !!!! Cheapest plastics everywhere. The same for the fabric/leather of the seats. Not even 50-60k/tsd km's on the clock and it get ripped and the s.c. plastics due to poorest french buildquality since years rattles on non flat roads, goes loose from clips and so on. The 305 was like another world compared to the 306. xD My mother had one. A MY98, 5 door, 1.6 8V with 89hp as the Saint Tropez model. She loved it, sure. And mechanicly (engine, transmission, suspention, kinda sporty trimmed, worked just fine like a swiss clock... but the rest... määh xD) (to top that the 307 was even more a shi*box, because there works nothing, from engine over electronics to interior and rest... Peugeots saddest years after the great 80's :I )
No worries at all. You can also thank me for showing you the gearbox and handbrake. I am really sorry that I have missed the ignition barrel location. 🙃

Sold mine about 15 years ago, still miss it, the lift-off oversteer was too much fun.

Good afternoon. I have a 306 s16, you know how to tell me how I can configure the keyboard code to work, thank you !!
At 1:53 seems like the diaphragm on the right side for the inlet manifold isn't working. That makes the car lose power.
Any chance of you ever doing a Nissan gq patrol?
