Mount Meager Combo

With an intimidating looking forecast full of north wind and over-development, Ian and I figured there was till a chance we could pull something interesting off with a pair-a-skis and a paraglider.
Instead of trying to fly far, we thought why not just go right into the money zone. A quick drive out to Athelstan followed by a lovely hike up through a burn scar, we found a nice little spot hop on our solar powered chairlifts.
Athelstan high country was in the lee and the air was too rough to want to topland near ridgecrests. The next best (or just better?!) option was to punch it towards the local volcano, Mount Meager. After climbing in some very burly air, we got some height and went for it. The mountain let us in, provided us a nice little run and even let us out.
On a day like this, it was a total win!

Not to worry, these babies are dedicated "land anywhere" skis. This wasn't the first logging rd they've met😂
