  • Tennis elbow, also known as lateral epicondylitis, is a condition that causes pain and inflammation in the tendon that attaches to the lateral epicondyle, a bony prominence on the outer part of the elbow.
Here are a few steps you can take to help alleviate tennis elbow pain:
Relative Rest: Avoid anything that makes it hurt.
Stretching and Strengthening Exercises: Stretch the forearm muscles, and perform exercises to strengthen the muscles in the forearm and wrist.
Physical Therapy: A physical therapist can teach you the specific exercises and techniques to help alleviate pain and improve function.
Heat: Heat the heck out of it if you’ve been suffering for more than a few days - to kick-start healing.
Brace: There are a couple of braces that can help to ease the pain caused by Tennis Elbow.
Ice: Apply ice to the affected area to numb it off.
It's important to note that it takes 12 months to fully heal the tendon. It's important to seek medical advice to ensure that you're doing the right thing for your specific case.
