So does the primary card holders credit score impact the AU’s credit in any way? For example, my brother has a 680 credit score because he just bought a house. But he also has a high limit card with good age and account history. If I’m added as an AU on his account will his lower score impact my score?

So my Girl has 90% usage of a 30k limit, obviously her credit has drop from the mid 700s to mid 600s. Things are pretty tight financially so she’s caught in that viscous cycle, I help as much as I can but I don’t have 25k to help that credit card go back down below 10% I have a credit card with a 25k balance sitting at 5% usage, I also have a Amex with a 15k at 0% balance another Discover with 9k balance at 5% usage. If I add her as a AU for all three of those cards (will not give her cards to use, for reasons stated above) will that bring her usage to the mid 30% usage? If we add all of my combined credit limits with hers, will she be able to see her overall usage drop which will in turn increase her credit score? Thanks for this video!
Great vid... Ok question, how would affect if I don't use that especific authorized card, but I instead my own credit cards and I use them in a reckless way and ruined my credit... Will that be still affecting the credit score of the person that added me as authorized user or it won't since I using my own accounts?

It works! About two months ago I was added as an authorized user and it helped boost my credit from the high 600's to the 720 range. It was a Citi card and the main thing it did for me was increase my average credit age as the card I got added to was 13 years old. Just a data point for ya hope that helps!
