Believe it or not doc peeps have seen a little change in me since I started listening. I probably wont get that relationship back but I'm getting myself back. Thank you

I'm so grateful to hear that. That's all you. You're putting in the work. And yes, when we lose relationships, it can hurt so badly, but the reality is that the changes you're making will impact all your future relationships, and for what it's worth (and I realize this thought and 50 cents will only get you 50 cents off your next coffee, lol), but I really believe that things happen in life for a reason. So I believe there's a reason why that relationship didn't work out. Keep working on self-control, and remember, we master what we practice. Definitely sending you all my best and tons of peace!

Just got your book on Audible. I’m glad you narrated it yourself. Can’t wait to listen to it, I always get so much out of your videos so I imagine this book will be very beneficial. Thanks for what you do brother, it’s much appreciated.

I'm so grateful brother. Thank you. I had fun in the studio recording it. I was thankful that Sounds True had me read it so I could emphasize the things that were important to me. Thank you again my man! Sending you much gratitude and peace!

Definitely. When we realize how frequently we allow people to get to us, it can be a great motivator to shift the way we go about our every day. Definitely sending you much peace!

Hey doc, i am currently working on my anger, I have always had anger issues. I also have had 3 friends commit suicide within the last 5 years, I was wondering if you have/could do a video on grieving. I honestly think that has a lot to do with my anger escalating. especially with my best friend I was supposed to move in last year and we got into a argument and lost touch due to blocking each other on social media and phone, then a week later my mom called me and told me he was dead by laying on a busy road drunk and got hit by 2 cars and a truck...I blame myself, and that’s a big huge problem of my anger when it shouldn’t be, and I constantly think about it and take it out on others when I shouldn’t. It has hurt my family a lot due to my actions...I just feel nothing but guilt and can not get over it. He was my friend of 15 years. I’m 24, I just now got a second chance with my wife and kids and I am blessed to stumble across your videos.

Thank you Dr. Conte- it’s definitely a learned skill how not to react to triggers. I would love to see a video on this topic if you don’t already have one. Thank you! 🙏🏻

I love this question. At a minimum, I will talk about this on my radio show, but I also will put it on my list for future videos, too. If you get a chance, I'd love for you to call in and talk about it on the radio show, but if not, no worries, I will still try to answer it. Sending you all my best and much peace!

Dr. Christian Conte Ah that would be great, thank you. I’ll try calling in on Monday. It’s something that I work on all the time, trying to be the most peaceful version of myself in all situations.

Yes, I am retired and have done many projects at home. I have all these trades I do. Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, automotive, appliance repair, heating and cooling, and more. My problem is when I get into problems with installs or fitment on projects, it can really set me off! I need to learn to get hold of my frustrations! I don't have any problems working with others, just when I am by myself. I can get upset with little things, especially when it takes more time and money to get things done right and complete. Looking forward to your many videos, Subscribed! Thanks again.

That was such a good way to put that concept of what you're doing everyday! I've been told not to complain... focus on the good... bu when you say it like that... "Whatever you're doing everyday you're getting better at..." That's so good!!!!!! I love the perspective you bring the way you say things just a little differently to drive home a great point of being better. Thank you! #MuchPeace

I will work on getting Mastering What You Practice on audible, too, but in the meantime, please check out Walking Through Anger if you can! Thank you! Sending you much peace!

I'm disappointed in myself. I got angry the other day. Got food at a drive thru. They messed up my order. I threw all of it out the window in the parking lot. Went on a few angry rants afterwards over a few hours.
I've been under a lot of stress. Was gonna be a father. We lost the baby. 2 weeks of miscarry. 2 ER visits and an emergency surgery. Because of Covid, I wasn't allowed at any of the appointments or ER visits or the surgery.
I know it's no excuse. But I was at my limits.
    I've been trying.
But it happened before I could control it.
Not my worst. But I'm still mad at myself for letting my anger get the best of me.

    • @DrChristianConte
      @DrChristianConte  4 года назад

Hey Jeena, I think one of the most helpful keys to remember is that we cannot "talk" someone out of judgment. We have to show them with our actions, and that takes time. I think this is a great question though, so I will address it on my radio show this upcoming Monday. Definitely sending you all my best and tons of peace!
