When Stevie start the solo everything else fades into the background, his powerful sound as a hurricane, his precise notes never out of time, Stevie was an absolute genius. Jeff Beck was a realy good guitar player but Stevie was from another planet.
Interesting observation sir. JB and SRV saw two of these shows on that tour. Sadly, it was Jeff I thought I'd never see again, not SRV. At least we have one of the two left. Happy for that.
I was lucky enough to see them both once , but not together . I'm not sure my heart could take Stevie and Jeff at the same time but I would have loved to have tried .
BB King is great at playing "that" note. SRV is great at playing "that" solo. He plays it over and over and over again. The words change but not his playing. What was really bad was after he got popular, all the guitarists were trying to play that same solo too. Beck is always trying to play stuff he never played before...that's what I love about him.
Thing about SRV is that he has all these technical guitarists beat so badly because they just dont have that Texas Blues Soul in them.... maybe Billy Gibbons has it but that is about it.
I dont know what could have happened SRV Wanted to Understand Jeff Beck Because of This he skipped other notes or didnt rehesrse the Blues well, Beck experienced guitarist in from of SRV I dont Think SRV player, I Wanted to explain what you see 🎸🎸
It's criminal that Angela never broke nationally. She's sensational! It takes brass to hold your own with 3 of the finest guitarists on the planet.

I woke early today , listened, watched SRV jamming with Jeff Beck.. oh yeah
I used to see Angela Strehli at Hut's Hamburger in Austin Texas with Denny and they were great, RIP Denny and Stevie
Look at how much fun Stevie Ray Vaughan and Jeff Beck are having. I wish they could bottle this kind of awesome fun.

Jeff and Stevie the best guitarists in the room.
Jimmie the best musician.
That's awesome. I wish JLV could still play like that.

Holy shit SRV gives me the chills!
Strehli- new name to me, how good is SHE! Woewaow - some guitar guys there too........
I was lucky enough to see them both once , but not together . I'm not sure my heart could take Stevie and Jeff at the same time but I would have loved to have tried .
Superb blues tone and phrasing in the intro solo..... from jimmie vaughan?
Yeah. The first few seconds I thought it was SRV and that's cuz SRV got that sound from Jimmie

Jeff Beck is all "hello local talent" ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ But it going no where.
Jeff Beck and the blues is kinda like toothpaste and motor oil

SRV and Jeff Beck speak for themselves. They need no help from you MBRSV. Why MBSRV is this viedo and audio so very doctored?
Jimmy was way better back when he used a pick. Somebody get this man a pick!
SRV is like Special Forces, bring him in when you want every motherfucker in the room dead.
TIMMY TOTES THE TAYWAGON, BUT EARL SWAGGART TAMES THE TOASYBLUNK!
@joch230 ....BB KINGwas jus good at playing..thats all
What's with the fucking cuts to the solos???? We would rather hear the whole song rather than just the solos.
Maybe you cango back to the future and fixit?
Why does Jeff Beck absolutely butcher this?
That's Jeff outside the box
