I suggest u can turn down the idle by, turning the air screw in the throttle body to the right(like ur closing a bottle, or there might be too much tension on the throttle cable causing ur car to be idling so high, ur car should be idling at 1000 rpm, 2000 add rpm is too high bro ur wasting fuel while idling at that rpm😢 cool eclipse btw, that's my favourite Mitsubishi🔥🔥🔥

Thanks man. The air screw is not the problem, and there is no tension on the throttle cable. The idle goes down once the car warms up.

6bolt head with a 7bolt block from a 4gen? Thats a first. I didn’t know you could use the blocks from the 2006-2012 eclipse.

@ I like the other way around. 1g block with 2g head. I think the 2g head has better flow characteristics than the 1g head till certain point, but the 1g has more flow capacity at high hp. You can go with either one you like but I prefer the 2g head. I do have a complete 2g 7 bolt engine in my car.
