Right wing President Jair Bolsonaro - who's trailing in the polls - has taken a leaf out of Donald Trump's playbook, sowing doubt about the electoral system.
He once said only God could remove him from power and if - as looks likely - his opponent, former President Lula, claims victory, there's concern he will not accept the result.

The justice system basically controls and supervise the election in Brazil. What concerns me is the clear bias against the president. Example:
The manifestantions on the Brasil's independence day in favor of Bossonaro was considered the greatest civil manifestations in the history of Brazil. Justice has forbidden to be shown as campaign advertisement.
They have forbidden people to wear green yellow shirts (Brazil's flag colors) or even using or own flag in the election place. Why they would forbid something like that ? What comes in mind is that maybe they don't want people to know when they go to vote how many people around them would vote for Bossonaro. So they don't complain or find strange if Lula wins.
Artists, Journalist who criticize openly the suprme justice judges are arrested. One journalist (Jose Eustaquio) was arrested and left prison paraplegic. The justice system is the judge and also the accuser now.
Many you tubers in favor or Bossonaro were demonetized by the supreme court. Many are still waiting for an explanation why.

Lula is ahead in the polls by roughly 15pp. I know polls aren't always that accurate, but they are usually a good indicator and that's quite a big difference, above the margin of error.

In November 2019, the Supreme Federal Court ruled that incarcerations with pending appeals were unlawful and Lula was released from prison as a result. In March 2021, Supreme Court Justice Edson Fachin ruled that all of Lula's convictions must be nullified, because he was tried by a court that did not have proper jurisdiction over his case. Fachin's ruling, which was confirmed by other Supreme Court Justices in April 2021, restored Lula's political rights. The Supreme Federal Court ruled later in March 2021 that judge Moro who oversaw his corruption trial, was biased. All of the cases Moro had brought against Lula were annulled by 24 June 2021, allowing him to run for president again in the 2022 elections.
Lula's arrest had the sole purpose of removing him from the 2018 elections. There was consensus in Brazil's justice system and in the UN international court that his conviction was unfair and partial.
