HOW'S THE MENTAL KINGS AND QUEENS??
Duff Mckagan is the bassist
Please react to NF - Layers
His Clouds Mixtape is out, by the way!
The best bass I've heard us Metallica's " Nothing Else Matters". Damn good bass in that.
Lmfao your face is as tight as his pants had me cracking up. I didn’t mean that pun though…
@King, Ugh....lol😬😨😵😁
The whole Appetite for Destruction album is what I would play in the morning to get me up and going in middle school. Yes, I'm old! lol
Yea?? I need to educate myself! Please share!
@@KINGBLITZ Dude, i’m literally a huge modern rap fan, but holy. This album is a masterpiece, not one bad song. Stand outs for sure are Sweet Child o’ Mine, Night train, and Welcome to the jungle. But even the other ones are great 🤷♂️
Appetite for Destruction album is one of the greatest albums ever. November Rain is on another level though.
I was one month younger than Axl so I was 25 and dancing in the club. So I definitely old 🤪
One the best rock albums collectively ever released! Fight meeeee!!!
“Y’all had all the best music back in the day.” Yes, yes we did.
Yep, seeing U2, RHCP, GnR and the likes live was special but can't imagine not having all this music growing up.. It made growing up in the 90s special
I’m 48. yes we did!
@@softshallow7435 I"m 69...even better era!
How I would love to turn back time and relive the 80S and 90's.....the best
Yes we did and it never gets old - true ROCK & ROLL!!!!
I don’t understand how adults don’t know bands like these. I am 15 and this is all I listen.
It’s mostly because we grew up with different backgrounds. I wasn’t raised around a diverse group of music
Me too,I am 17 but I listen more to like IRON MAIDEN,METALLICA,PANTHERA,BLACK SABBATH,QUEEN,STEELHEART,GNR,DEF LEPPARD,LED ZEPPLIN, and PINK FLOYD,metallist rocks 🤟🤟🤟
@@liliesard2373 as he said not everyone is raised with same musical back ground, you apperently are being raised on classic rock because it's what your parents know.
He was raised on something else because it's what his parents knew, it's a simple as that.
@@WizardPandora welp,I wasn't even calling him out for not knowing rock music ,I just kind of shared to oc that I also love metal/rock so I narrated my fav rock artists
Seeing that your only 15, I'm thinking your parents introduced you to the good music.
Slash is a guitar god.
One thing I love about GNR is that their bass player Duff McKagan doesn’t get overlooked.
Yessss!! He’s dope with it. Please share!!
I’ve always heard you can call yourself a fan of a band of you can name the bassist…Duff IS NOT overlooked. 🤘🏻🎸🤘🏻
I truly think he's one of (if not) the best and most well known bassists EVER!
Steven,Izzy,Duff. They were the glue that held everything together. After Steven got fired and Izzy left things spiraled out of control.
And let's face it, Duff is very nice to look at! 😍
I remember going to concerts back in the day and the amplifiers where so powerful you could feel the sound waves hitting your chest.
Man I miss concerts period now lol
The percussion! Amazing!
@LadyLiberty did he perform with black sabbath or just by himself
KORN, you could feel it internally when they still used analog sound systems.
@@johnnorton971 Yea just a feeling you can't describe. Literally feel it hitting your innards. Almost like a heart attack.
Appetite for destruction was one of the greatest albums ever made
🔥🔥🔥
*Coughs
biggest debut album of all time.
*is
True
Band like Guns n Roses and Led Zeppelin are this era's Beethovens and Mozarts. People will be listening to them centuries from now.
You know when Axl throws off the shades in the beginning that it's about to git LIT
👍🤗😆😎
"you all had all the best music back in the day!" yes. Yes, we did. And I totally love your laugh.
I loved "Stank face...as tight as his pants!" Killed me. 🤣
"Sweet Child of Mine" for a killer SLASH solo.
Man you are so right about that. Slash was, is, and always will be the heart and soul of GnR
The greatest guitar riff EVER!! And he did it by accident, lol.
Yasss....!
Idk man the outro of this song is slash going way crazier than sweet child
Slash is literally my favorite guitar player EVER!!!! He’s bad af! And that hair?!
Sweet Child O Mine
November Rain
Mr.Brownstone
And the list goes on. If you’re doing a live I’m requesting something from them🤘🔥❤️
I did November rain!! ruclips.net/video/scO4WS6Y5u8/видео.html
I searched after to see what one you did. Bad ass!
At the same time I've seen him perform with children (some music program) whose playing must have been painful to his ears in some places, and he did not overshadow the kids. With his skill he could be so full of ego, but he's gracious and humble.
This song gets me moving every single time. I loved watching your pure enjoyment as it played.
Thank you sooo much!!
My generation listened to multiple songs from this album multiple times a day on the radio. Interrupted by multiple songs from Def Leppard, Krokus, and Motley Crue. It was the best time to be alive!
Best times ever!
Yes you right a Great time be a teenager in The end of The 80,s
The first (and last) generation to head bang... while driving a stick shift. Lordy, I can't imagine how insane we must've looked to older drivers in trafficking with us. 😏😂
So true!! Our generation had good music from all genres
I played sports in high school and would have the best time ever driving to games in my Mustang, and getting fired up to play listening to Metal!
I was in that audience, Donnington park UK monsters of rock festival 1988. Was an experience i will never forget.
You were there!!!! That’s awesome!!!
@MessedUpMel Black and white footage is from donnington 88 . Unfortunately 2 fans died crushed in the mud during GnRs set.
I went to the Monsters of Rock tour in Indy those many MANY years ago!! Best music ever!! And I mean ALL the music back then...I was the ONLY one in my town listening to NWA!! Haha what a time to live!! Love the memories!
People always forget that rock has so much intricate and brilliant musicianship.
Welcome to the Jungle, baby! :D
Thank you for reacting to GNR. Much love from an oldschool metalhead in the Philippines.
Ayyyeee!!! Black heaven you could maybe suggest more?? Thank you!!
@@KINGBLITZ for GNR, November rain, welcome to the jungle and patience are good songs
But if you want to dive to more big hair metal bands here are my suggestions:
SKIDROW - I remember you
POISON - Every rose has its thorns
WARRANT - Heaven
DAVID LEE ROTH - California Girls
CINDERELLA - Heartbreak Station
I'll suggest more as I join you in your reactions to the good old cheesy glam rock days 😂😂😂
I used to listen to a lot of old gangsta rap like NWA on my truck's custom sound system. Then I cranked this song up one day with those 15's quakin' and I've been rocking out ever since. This was in 1989.
I graduated that year. The 80's was a great time to live in as a teenager.
Ole Duff on the bass getting a little love. Duff is a cool dude. He's gone through hell and come out the other side. Drank so much his pancreas exploded. You should react to Skid Row- Slave to the Grind and Pantera- Mouth For War. GNR took Skid Row out on a big old tour, and Skid Row took Pantera out on their first stadium tour in the states. They're all buds.
skid row was in my opinion always underrated but i loved there album Skid row
WE ABSOLUTELY HAD THE BEST MUSIC 🔥🔥 EVERYWHERE YOU LOOKED WAS PURE 🔥🔥🔥
its not the same anymore 😔 music is still great but The Days of Hair Metal Bands and Pink Floyd are gone. Artists actually playing instruments and being celebrated worldwide for it. We knew the drummer and the Guitar 🎸 players names not just the lead singer like nowadays. And at the same time rap was going crazy! 💥💥💥 Why do you think ICE T and Tech9 are metal heads. They grew up with this 🔥🔥🔥
That’s dope!!!
@@KINGBLITZ Speaking of Ice -T you should react to something from his metal band Body Count. I recommend Black Hoodie or No Lives Matter.
The one who gets overlooked in GN'R is rhythm guitarist and songwriter Izzy Stradlin. Izzy and Axl were childhood friends who founded the band and were in Guns N' Roses before Slash etc and wrote songs like Don't Cry and You Could Be Mine together. Izzy wrote Patience before Guns as well and he sings lead vocals on Double Talking Jive, You Ain't the First, Dust N' Bones and 14 Years on Use Your Illusion. He quit the band 30 years ago at the height of their fame with Kills For Thrills frontman Gilby Clarke playing Izzy's guitar parts for the rest of the Illusion tour and miming to them in the videos.
Truth 🖤
Seconded on the Izzy love, but it's incorrect to say they were "in" the band before Slash. GnR was a combination of the bands Hollywood Rose (with Izzy and Axl) and L.A. Guns (with Slash).
Izzy Stradlin is the hippest mofo name in history.
"My face is as tight as this man's pants right here!" OMG I died a little laughing. Thank you for that amazing and heartfelt reactionary comment. Your laugh is infectious btw. Keep doing this channel!! Xx!
2021 - "Im a rock star"
GNR - yeah ok.......
We did have the best music back in the day..so happy you are experiencing it with us!!
I was a Senior in High School when this came out... we hadn't had anything this good since the mighty Zeppelin released their last album('79) !! Gn'R kinda gave my generation our very own "Led Zeppelin" so to speak!! Phenomenal group.... excellent reaction and it's nice to see someone showing Duff (the bassist) some love.... While it's well deserved, it's usually only Slash who gets a nod. Good on you! New sub.... Rock on!!
I was in high school too when gnr was hot. We did know how to rock out and have a good time.
Duff was serious eye candy 😍
You guys my age...fellow metalheads lol..nice..single from Ohio here.
The track slash done with MJ was ‘give in to me’ unreal guitar and vocal work
Real musicians playing real guitars and drums this is talent!
if I'm ever making a playlist to get me pumped or workout, this is always the first song added. Such a sick vibe.
I can see why!
Oh man, this one brought back a very very specific memory for me. It was playing on the radio in the car when I was on my way to the hospital to give birth to my daughter!! I was in labor, but that didn't stop me from ROCKIN' OUT in between contractions. My hubby just kept looking at me with a look of disbelief. LOL !!!
Haha !! That’s a dope memory Joan 💪🏽💪🏽
GnR "Sweet Child O Mine" next please 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
That is by far my favorite song!
"my face was as tight as those guys pants" had me dead!! Lolol these bands had the best music tho and appreciate my parents making me listening to 70's & 80's music as a kid, I still listen and get lost!.. great reaction brotha!
I remember when my son's bus driver telling me how he got on the bus singing this every morning. He was in kindergarten at that time back in 2005.
I know I'm old🤣
You are a great parent!
My 1st GNR concert was in 87' when they opened for Aerosmith. I never heard of them until that night, and I've been a worshipper ever since.
I saw them live on October 1, 2019. We were 4 rows from the center stage. They still sound AWESOME.
Lucky
I loved your reaction to Axl’s signature 3 octave scream
Everytime I hear it... my heart soars
This is not the only song he does that
THAT WHOLE album hits like THAT!!!🔥💀💋💞✌🌹😵
Best album!
I like that you appreciate the bass line! As you say it is often overlooked but it's hard to miss here! Missing it here is like missing it in a Rush song: it means you don't know what bass is lol :)
"My face was as tight as this man pants"🤣🤣 I subscribed based off that statement alone lmaooo
😂😂😂😂
Get Appetite for Destruction album. It’s a classic. The whole album is great. It’s why at that time they were the biggest band in the world. These guys are gunslingers!
Not only were GnR massively successful in their time, they are also sadly missed in the present. A perfect legacy.
These guys bring it every song. Rock on 🤘😎it’s kinda rap rock for a minute…..that screaming solo a la Slash🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Man I was amazed!!
My credentials: *Was in the top 0.005% of GNR listeners on Spotify in 2020*
From a superfan, my recommendations are: Civil War (lyric video), November Rain (Official Music Video), Patience (official music video or official audio), Estranged (official Music Video), Don’t Cry (official Music Video), You’re Crazy (GNR Lies Edition, not Appetite for Destruction; official audio), Out ta’ Get Me (official audio), Sweet Child O’ Mine (official Music Video).
*All in no particular order*
Also you’re singing voice is actually rly good lol
Best Band best album best Song all time !!!
Blitz 😂 my face is as tight as this mans pants 😂😂😭😭😭😭
😂😂😂😂
If you’re getting into guns n roses, I suggest you react to “Coma” Its one of the best songs they made
Thanks for the suggestion!
@@KINGBLITZ no problem bro, the song is a true masterpiece I’m tellin ya!
Love that song one of my favorites ❤
I sing this song full volume whenever I hear it, no matter what. I'm a 39-year-old plus-sized redheaded woman, I don't even care, it's just that good!
I play em and sing em at 51 yrs old. hahah. One of my favorite groups ever.
This is 🔥🔥🔥
@MessedUpMel That's awesome!
This was the band's love letter and mini-documentary to their experience at Monsters of Rock concert at Castle Donnington, 1988, I believe. This was the band's first huge concert...sadly and ironically, it also preserves the tragedy there where the fans were so crazy, two were killed during GnR's performance.
Im glad I watched their live concert. They are legendary 🙌 😃
Lucky.
Thank you for reacting this 😍😍😍 Guns and Roses forever! ❤️
THEY ARE SOO DOPE!!!!!
Favor? can you share this?

Great 80s band!
Please react to Guns N Roses "Sweet Child O Mine" cover from NESCAFE BASEMENT Season 2, you'll be blown away for sure, thank me later ;) Cheers!!!
thanks for reacting to GnR!most fave band in the wwworld.Axl 2nd most fave vocalist following Freddie M.most iconic (Axl and Slash?!both rock god royalties👑)and dangerous band as they say, probbly watched all their docus.the whole album is 🔥.GnFR forever!
I love Freddie too!!!
My boy slash tearing up that guitar🤘
And when we were growing up listening to this as it first came out, it quite literally changed a whole generation of people, while most older people would call it over zealous noise.
It’s so refreshing to see you enjoy these guys. My little sisters favorite as a teen. They were a real shock to my mom. She would bang on the bedroom door and threaten to break all of our record and albums. 😁🤘🏻
I am that sister
Slash was the guitarist and Axel Rose lead singer. Loved these guys. great reaction. lol That was dope. Try METALICA Live in Moscow..."Sandman". 1.6 million peole in the audience. It was crazy. Hahahaha
YES!!! It was the "Monsters Of Rock" concert. It was during the "Fall" of the "Iron Curtain", marking the end of Communism, the end of the COLD WAR (ending the threat of Nuclear War) and the dismantling of the "Soviet Union".... Russia was JUST "Russia" again. People came from all over the world to celebrate not only the music, but the Russian citizens new found freedom and their ability to OPENLY enjoy "Western" music (esp. Rock music) for the 1st time in MANY years.... It was a FREE concert and 1.6 MILLION people attended. It was a momentous moment in history!! Check it out... "Enter Sandman" Metallica Mosco 1991... You won't regret it!!!
Axl*. Slash was the lead guitarist and still is. Izzy Stradlin was the rhythm guitarist.
Best band EVER. 🤘🏻 🤘🏻 🤘🏻
Thank youuuu for watching!!
Please please PLEASE don't interrupt when your listening to GnR. You need to full experience without pausing!!!
That's his way of reacting to his enjoyment of the song. Some pause some don't.
Looks like old Giants' Stadium! Loved the reaction. Been binging your channel and can't wait to see what else you get into.
Your laugh is hysterically wonderful!! 😂
Yes we did have the best music, thank you for such a good reaction!!
Thank youuuu
I love how you recognize great music that will last forever!! I was born in 77 and the 80s were by far the best music ever made! Today's music doesn't have the heart, soul and talent like they did back then! True musicians back then!
An alarm with Axl Rose screaming in your ear would be awesome!
My two favorite parts of this video when Steve Adler the drummer looks over and screams more bass at the beginning and when the security guard shakes his head at the guy who tried to get on stage and got brutally denied🤘🏼
I could listen to Slash play guitar all day, GNR Top of the game in the 80's, absolutely loving your Rock reactions. #Headbanger #80'sChick
Can you please react to Bluezone song called Jackie
Please
If you haven’t done welcome to the jungle you need to it’s even better than this one
Will consider Cindy!! Thank you!!
@@KINGBLITZ thank you 🙏
I think Axl Rose is emulating some of Davy Jones of the band The Monkees in some of his dance steps! Check out Daydream Believer from The Monkees.
I think he got it from him according to what I've read once.
I still have them on film from their reunion tour...I was lucky to be a teenager during the’70s cause I got to witness the 80s etc music as well 🖖🏻🇨🇦🥰💥
Glad you liked it bro! I was in HS when this dropped! Classic ! Thanks 🙏

And you are a cast iron BADASS for givin' love to the bass line.

Rock On my man...🤘
P.s.
Don't Cry (Regular Lyrics) - Illusion
Night Train - Appetite
You Could Be Mine - Terminator 2 Song (And watch this music vid....Just for the ending. Trust me dude)
For the record the second part of the video is filmed in England in 1988 at the Monsters of Rock festival. Technically I was in the video! I was there with my brother along with about 88000 other fans. Sadly during their set two people fell to the ground when the crowd pushed forward (there was a slight slope) and never got up. Crushed to death. KISS and Iron Maiden were headlining that year.
Axl was Bi-Polar. Very bad temper. He would jump in the crowd and fight with someone who pissed him off, but he can sang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I Got to see them live in Miami on New Years Eve 1991!
Amazing group.!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What an era, yes we were spoiled in middle school with these guys, and to find out Axl Rose was from our state, Indiana, wow, of course I think he was banned from here for a bit but not until after I caught them live with Metallica, talk about dream show!
...I absolutely love this song ..had me dancing all over the place ...made my night ...thanku so much ...out of this world solos ...love your beautiful reaction ..that laugh thanku so much love and god bless x.
I love it now!!! Please share on social media!
Lemme tell ya.. each and every member of GNR are unique AF.. listen to axl rose voice, slash guitar solo, listen to the bass line by mckagan, how steven adler hit the drums, izzy stradins rhydm.. damn.. why so perfect
Your facial expressions crack me up !! I should have appreciated this band way more when I was growing up !! Now I realize how great they really are !! Yes that’s Slash and Michael Jackson went crazy cause Slash played w him on Beat it live .. Slash is one of the best guitarist ever !!
You do know Slas from dirty Diana. Beat it was with Eddie Van Halen. Fun fact all big hits of Michel Jackson are with a big and wel known rock guitar player.
This right here is my favorite GNR song. And that’s saying a lot.
They are!!
I love how you mentioned the bass is often over looked. You are correct. Duff McKagan is a phenomenal bass player. He doesn't get enough credit. You will enjoy this entire album you should react to anything goes next.
This entire album kicks ass!
Slash with Michael Jackson song is Give in to me. Beat It was with the ever greatest Mr. Eddie Van Halen 🤘🤘🤘
Can't go wrong with GnR the were rock n roll. If you are going to do some classic must add Skid Row on your listening list.
I don't get all reactions to rock or heavy from black people. Have they been living in a different world until yesterday??
Oh boy, i see you... already went down the pantera rabbit hole, but i must suggest, if you hit the tool rabbit hole, good luck!
react to more guns and roses songs !!! 💜🎶🎶🎶

I can't stop watching your reaction at 4:20 it reminds me of the first time I ever heard GN'R around age 7/8, played a major part in the trajectory of my life becoming a musician- I'm 24 now! Content like this helps keep the inspiration flowing, many thanks good sir!
You did an excellent job of analyzing The different instrumentsin the song
Yea id be playing this in the morning and Metallica and my sisters was playing New Kids on the Block lol
My music became old school when I wasn’t paying attention 😬
