victor D'Aconia Fair play, it's a great album. Though, it's not quite a masterpiece for me personally, but I like that, I enjoy the minor imperfections.
i think All By Myself is incredible, if it was billed as an Adolescents album, it would be the second or third best behind the untouchable s/t and demos. Better than any Bad Religion or Social Distortion album post-1983. probably aged better than a lot of OC bands have aged. Im surprised its not more respected.

It's like Balboa Funzone, lots of Adolescents fans don't tend to appreciate that album as much and don't regard it as a definitive Adolescents product. I definitely think some of it would work with Tony singing, but not all of it, if you get what I mean. Balboa Funzone, btw, is a top album, imo.

But as the band split he recorded it himself instead. Just a theory, only Rikk would know for sure! Absolute legend though, no doubt. All By Myself is a stone cold classic in my opinion

It was a particularly popular term around Orange County into the early 80's. It's use was revived in skateboard culture about 12 years ago after being largely forgotten for 25+ years. It was a great term - I never stopped using it until it was co-opted by skate culture. I liked using it cuz no one knew what the hell it meant when I called someone a hessian. And, yes, along with the Ching-a-Lings it was also always one of my favorite MC names ever. It's just a great word!
