Amy Lee: Making that video was really cool because I thought that even if we didn’t release it, I just wanted to put it together and document it for myself because I always wanted to make a video for “Lost In Paradise”. We didn’t have the budget to make a big, giant old-school Evanescence video, but I’m really glad that we did this. It’s so touching, personal and real.

I in all my life, have never heard a song so absolutely beautiful as this one. I have nearly everyday for the last several years listened to this song. I am totally moved by it, I am in awe and adore every single moment of it. Musically written to flow in perfection with your audibly perfect and beautiful voice.
I am convinced that God made certain that you were to have as angelic a voice that all the other angels fell in love with your voice.
There can not be anything I have ever heard that is anything as Godly as your singing.
You are a cut above all others. Rich in every way perfection. My ears adore existing when they are filled with hearing you.

To those saying how there isn't enough feeling in this video: This conveys the emotions of hundreds of thousands of people, each having their own experience at the concerts. It shows that although we're separated by countries, we're all connected by Evanescence. This is what we're all here for, and this is why. I think this is a perfect video.

This is the excellent that happens when all the parts of a song come together. The pieces are amazing, but together; angelic.
Evanescence got me through high school. On the lowest of days and nights where all the words thrown at me by the bullies weighed down on me I would just play their music. Listen to the lyrics and loose myself in the melodies. I'm sure so many of you guys know this feeling all to well. And throughout all these years, the pain, the heartbreak and the feeling of not being able to make it through the night, this band has kept me strong.
This was epic Amy Lee! Soulful tunes of your voice alone are so amazing they speak right to the heart of your fans! When watching the video of you singing in high school I wonder if your dad knew what a superstar you were going to be!

Why is this not on their VEVO?
Probably because Wind-Up had more control on their VEVO at the time. This is just something Amy had made for the fans. There was originally supposed to be a real music video for it but Wind-Up claimed there wasn't enough money for it. Then Amy realized the band was owed 1.5 million in unpaid royalties and found other ways Wind-Up tried to purposely sabotage the bands success so she sued them and they were forced to sell Evanescence and most of their catalog to another company. Amy and the band still get money if someone were to buy Fallen or The Open Door, or other merchandise but they have no legal obligations to anyone. Amy owns herself and Evanescence now.

Some people say that Ev should've made a 'proper' video for this song. I think the video for this song can't get any more 'proper' than this. For me, this is the best Ev video ever. Know the story behind the words. Then you'll understand the meaning is too deep to be expressed just by a song, just by a video or just by a story. It's about Amy's hiatus from music, and how she missed it and how she apologizes her fans for that. This song is about the fans. And the video is from fans. Perfection.
