It only shows up as headphones and doesn’t show in the recording
update your sound card driver, usually it is called realtk
it may help but the headset option isn't available
that basically means your headset is not plugged in properly or it is faulty, try the headset with other device to confirm

are you talking about the TRRS to TRS converter? try your headphones on a different device with just the TRRS 3.5 jack (jack with 3 black lines on it) if mic and audio works then the splitter or the pc audio input itself might be the problem

In windows 11 I have a problem where it’s not detecting headphones and when they do it’s putting volume to 0

I have it, but I just need help finding the plug in. (windows 10) Also, I have a wire in the headphone port on windows 10. If I remove the wire, boom. NO SOUND BC OF THE PLUG IN
why did you remove the wire? obviously that will no longer work

no like, this is a external headset, and it works on other devices but on my computer it doesnt detect the external but just detects which side of the pc with the headset is plugged in.

go to sound settings/playback, make sure your headphones is set as main sound

Can you please help me I bought a a mic that I saw at dollar tree and I wanted to test it out but my computer is not recognizing it
if you already plugged it on your pc and it didn't install, either the microphone is broken or the pc mic input is broken. ask a friend to test your mic in their pc to check
i dont have a set as deafult button

my microphone only works when connected to the mic icon 3.5mm aux on my pc but then i loose all hearing, however if i swap the 3.5mm to the headset icon jack on the pc i gain audio on my headset but loose the microphone?????????
whatever aux that may be, it is set as main mic in the system, follow the video and choose the 3.5 on pc as main recording mic

@@bullchuckers as long as the pc detects it as a mic it will automatically appear in the recording tab. if it doesn't then the usb mic might be faulty or you need to turn it on

it means pc didn't detect your device, consider the 3.5mm ports of your pc perhaps you are using a TRS or TRRS port. If you are using usb plugs for headphones perhaps the usb are just dirty just clean any debris or dust
my bluetooth headset does not work with my pc so i use a double jack 3.5 trrs but my mic doesn't work when i use it with my phone the mic is not working, but if i activate bluetooth and disconnect the cable it works, how can i use the headset with the cable?
if your are talking about TRRS 3.5mm jack then you need a TRS converter since your pc does not recognize the TRRS cable

@@davideportante2851 your pc sound card might need update, go to device manager >audio input output> right click your device and click update. if after you update this still happens then the pc mic jack might be faulty
@@MacCoyzkie alredy did all that and tried if the jack on the pc is faulty with other headset that i don't use because the right audio is broken and the jack worked

if the mic volume is set to 100% in both headphones and windows sound settings then that's more likely your headset's problem

I tried different ports but it only worked if i chose the microphone option when the thing pop ups but if i do that i wouldnt be able to hear anything@@MacCoyzkie
@@patroneran9997 i know it's inconvenient to set it up every time but there are some headset like that for some reason. i think it has something to do with its driver

its actually the same, you can also press WIN+R then type CONTROL PANEL then in the search bar search SOUND

@@AkaKrydzy yes that will be a hardware problem specifically that splitter you're talking about. though ugreen have a very good reputation in their products i rarely see their products going faulty

in the recording tab, lower the mic level to 80 to 70%
