Kilohearts tape stop is free now, and much better than vinyl for this effect (because you can alter the spindown and windup times). Would recommend that instead

just do as this guy did, consolidate the track, reverse it. Done.
If this does not suit you, automate volume, pitch and bpm to get higher. Done.
this is some of the easiest shit to do.

2000 preset is still a EQ affecting your track. If you just want a effect like shown, this plugin is not suited for your purpose, since you can't turn off the EQ effect of this plugin.

Bounce the spin down effect to an audio track (might be called export to track/export audio, something like that).
Reverse the audio clip that you just created and fade to taste.
