Had the pleasure of meeting and nerfing with Atch, he is fast on his feet!!! If you are a uk nerfer and modder then check out his etsy store as he does loads of good stuff and you don't have stupid overseas postage costs.
One more problem with the retaliator : The tactical rail on the primer(i don't know what we call it) Was not need because priming it with a sight on it would not work .
That's why if you want to actually mod your Retaliator you should pretty much go all out. Worker parts got you covered, it just depends on how you want to make it look like. Either a sniper or a M4. You also must upgrade the internals if you want to make sure your blaster will last a very long time and also shoot better.
When I started watching this vid, I was wondering if the kit could be used with OMW Stage 1/2 modded blasters (probably even Stage 3, since that was a barrel replacement) - and it sounds like it'd be just fine. Also the prices for any fellow Aussies are $17.15 AUD for PLA & $32.07 AUD for Carbon-Nylon, before S&H (~$31 AUD). Now I'm tempted to get 2, maybe even 3 kits - one for each of my Blue Retaliators with OMW Stage 1 & 2 kits, maybe even one for my White Retaliator with OMW Stages 1-3 kits - though my wallet might be screaming in pain for a bit if I did that. XD
The only potential weakness I can see in that kit is the printed catch, I have never seen one from any maker that lasted very long with a modded spring.
I stumbled across this product on his Etsy page a while ago and was really looking forward to picking this up and trying it out... But I could never put the money together :'( Now? I'm even more excited for it! Great video!
The one con to slam fire is not being able to deprime an empty blaster. When I made a shotgun style grip for my rampage, I disengaged the slam fire so depriming wasn't an issue. (I removed the AR from this rampage.)
Hey Bobo, I actually thought of a really creative mod you can do in the future! You should take the back half of the Modulus ECS-10 stock, and put the tubular piece of the raider stock on the front of the Modulus stock. It would probably be really stable, AND it holds a clip.
Slamfire con : Can't deprime the blaster That being said, it looks cool and functions well, I wonder how it'd do on expanded plungertube or 14 kg rets. I like that it makes use of what's available,
I love watching this in 2020 that retaliators are almost completely overpowering EAT's and Rampages because the lack of slamfire makes the internals better for mods lol
I've seen something similar to this for the recon but the maker wasn't selling. But this seems just AWESOME for the retaliator, but what mic do u use? When u were filming the last part outside it seemed really good
Hello can you please tell me where did you buy that bar on the sides that allow you pump the gun by using the front handle. Don't really care to much about the parts inside. Thank you.
Question! Are you able to de-prime the blaster (as in holding the trigger down while the slide is back and releasing the plunger tube assembly slowly forward), or is like all the other slam fire blasters out there where you can't de-prime the spring without dry-firing/shooting off a dart?
With slamfire blasters, there is a way to make them de-primeable. Not sure where the guide is, but it involves epoxying a stick to the slamfire 'bar'. You shouldn't take the AR out of Elite stuff, so depriming is just dry firing but without the potential damage.
Some people think it kills your accuracy and it just wastes darts. I'm sort of in that camp, but I still think it's loads of fun and just a good option to have in a last-ditch.
Lord Yato I prefer slam-fire springers, because I can mostly single-fire, however if I need to I can fire faster. I don't use a flywheel blaster because I don't enjoy it as much, and with a springer, the power will always be there and it stay consistent no matter how fast you shoot.
I like to remove the mechanical locks from semi auto blasters and I can single fire really easily, and fire as fast as I want. Although, I understand why you probably don't like flywheels. They can get pretty loud and it's annoying to constantly change batteries,
Lord Yato Scrubs that don't fully rewire their blasters and whine about how the rev up time is slow and use a springer for that reason would want a springer that has a high rate of fire. Also, if you're playing HvZ in the rain, better to use a springer than risk an electric failure from your flywheel blaster.
Do not remove the AR from Elite series stuff. There's very small performance gain, but you will put stress on the piston which has very thin ridges holding the o-ring on.
Bobo, you say that it's bad to remove air restrictors, and it gives it little performance boost, but why is all the other nerfers doing it? Isn't that why you use padding, so you won't break your blaster, because honestly with my Retaliator, I removed the air restrictors, and kept the stock spring, yet it gives you a huge amount of performance, not little at least for me.
+Teh Executioner Yes, you do. However, the design for the 'new' air restrictors don't hinder performance like the old ones supposedly did. Plus, I'd rather keep them in, get good performance, and not put my piston's integrity at risk.
Personally, I absolutely hate the mag release on the alpha trooper, it’s way too small and can easily be missed when in the heat of battle. The retaliator mag release is perfectly sized and easy to use for me
How to Slay The SENC In 2006: >Stick this in a full bore Worker Prophecy with Katana Mags, expanded plunger tube, SCAR barrel and Worker stefans. > ? >PROPHET~!
Put a worker stock raider stock or a m4 stock a pump kit slam fire kit some pickatinny rails a replica eoteck sight and paint it black with a spring kit then you have the best blaster in the history of retaliators
Not really. When you buy the kit, Atch Attachments sends you a PDF with full instructions for how to install (as I mention in the video). This video isn't a tutorial, it's a review- so I don't show installation.
vodo2 If you've ever compared an Elite Alpha Trooper and Retaliator side by side, you would see that the Retaliator's bolt is shorter, meaning less dead space, and the EAT's catch is held together by two thin bars, leading to catch failures on springs stronger than the stock 2.5kgs. Also, the priming bar on the EAT applies force unevenly on the bolt sled.
I'd rather have a pump action Retaliator over a Rampage. I really don't like the mag release on the Rampage, nor do I like the uneven weight when loaded.
Now we need a Longshot slam fire kit
yeeeeeees!!!!
Had the pleasure of meeting and nerfing with Atch, he is fast on his feet!!! If you are a uk nerfer and modder then check out his etsy store as he does loads of good stuff and you don't have stupid overseas postage costs.
What the frick? Why isn't this more popular? A slam-fire-capable pistol with an 18-dart mag.
AWESOME.
One more problem with the retaliator : The tactical rail on the primer(i don't know what we call it)
Was not need because priming it with a sight on it would not work .

Foamdata Services still going strong for a few months now :)
Good to hear. Still not seen another 3d printed catch that didn't break, maybe yours will be the first. Make a good EAT catch?
+Lucca Smith Andrew is the designer and creator of the part
Lucca DeBiaso it works fine
I stumbled across this product on his Etsy page a while ago and was really looking forward to picking this up and trying it out... But I could never put the money together :'( Now? I'm even more excited for it! Great video!
I saw it through one of Drac's videos and thought it'd be fun to try out. 100% happy with my purchase.
You're Great, Blee and Bobo!
WOW! That's awesome!!!! Nice one bobo!
Speaking of slamfire, who remembers the Pyragon? Slamfire on that blaster was super smooth......
I remember it, wish I had one. It was over powered.
Its my primary, but I also have one under mounted to a stryfe
I love my Pyragons. Favored primary, especially if you make extendoclips.
those giant mags have such good capasity
Battle Brick's Lego You can use a Reactor spring to make a 60-disc clip. Bobololo has a tutorial.
so much better looking than the delta trooper
Very nice review of a great kit! Its nice when you show us new things for the hobby. Ill be picking one up soon.
The one con to slam fire is not being able to deprime an empty blaster. When I made a shotgun style grip for my rampage, I disengaged the slam fire so depriming wasn't an issue. (I removed the AR from this rampage.)
You're supposed to leave the AR in lol
Slam fire is the definition of taking what is supposed to be a single shot and firing it as a semi auto
Hey Bobo, I actually thought of a really creative mod you can do in the future! You should take the back half of the Modulus ECS-10 stock, and put the tubular piece of the raider stock on the front of the Modulus stock. It would probably be really stable, AND it holds a clip.

How to deprime slamfire Elite blasters- leave the AR in and dry-fire.
>mfw brassed
>mfw alu pusher
elite CS blasters have shit plunger heads, i try not to fire them when I don't have to
Slam fire recon mk2???
I like your thinking
Mk2.1
Dont see why it wouldnt work in a mk2. Im more curious if it works with a worker xpt set up
Wait ... Was that a green screen
Nope, just outside.
Unless this is a pun about the trees being green that I'm taking too literally XD
shutup
+I AM JETT 9
no.
1Rst down That’s Rude
Only reason it doesn't work on Recon mk2 is the spacer doesn't fit into the shell lines. It would have to be modified.
He does a 8 dart cylinder
I think you were actually slam firing faster without the pump kit
Will this kit work in a Recon Mk 2 or Rapid Glow?
Will it work on a recon mk2
I would think so, but I'm not entirely sure.
Nerf mods for beginners I have heard that you would need a pin from the Retaliator bolt sled for pump kits to work, so maybe with this too.
no probably not the trigger is differnt on the mk 2
Would it wotk in. Mk2 with a worker xpt set up?
It's a perfect kit combo :D
can you shoot normally with the slamfire kit? I plan on building one with a pump and I don't know if I should get it or not.
Awesome review! Subscribed! 😁👍
I love watching this in 2020 that retaliators are almost completely overpowering EAT's and Rampages because the lack of slamfire makes the internals better for mods lol
How simple would it be to integrate the vertical grip that comes with the Retaliator into a Worker pump kit?
Nice review! I was considering going and buying one, and a review like this is helpful.
I've seen something similar to this for the recon but the maker wasn't selling. But this seems just AWESOME for the retaliator, but what mic do u use? When u were filming the last part outside it seemed really good
I use a Takstar-SGC 598. It's a cheapy mic that sounds quite good for the $30 price tag. That and I add some Dynamic and EQ adjustments.
Are you able to buy the files? Where I live shipping would just be stupid expansive
Hello can you please tell me where did you buy that bar on the sides that allow you pump the gun by using the front handle. Don't really care to much about the parts inside. Thank you.
It's an F10555 pump grip kit.
Nice vid bobo, but, I want to ask if the retaliator grip is comfortable because my hands are really big but I am not a grownup.
Do you think this is worth the trouble in 2018 to try and get one?
Upgrade 4.20 adds a pump grip and gives bobo a trim
Question! Are you able to de-prime the blaster (as in holding the trigger down while the slide is back and releasing the plunger tube assembly slowly forward), or is like all the other slam fire blasters out there where you can't de-prime the spring without dry-firing/shooting off a dart?

Dammit, it isn't for sale anymore
wow, great kit and a pretty reasonable price. there are things for nerf blasters that do less and cost more.
why do we want a pumpgrip for the ret while we have the EAT?
cuz the EAT grip sucks and the bars that rack the slide on the pump retaliator can handle high spring loads way better
Adamantium1331 never thought of that, thanks
Retaliator is my secon favourite blaster the first being the stryfe
I personally don't like slamfire, but I see why people like it. Although, if people were intending to fire fast, why not a flywheel?
Some people think it kills your accuracy and it just wastes darts. I'm sort of in that camp, but I still think it's loads of fun and just a good option to have in a last-ditch.
Lord Yato I prefer slam-fire springers, because I can mostly single-fire, however if I need to I can fire faster. I don't use a flywheel blaster because I don't enjoy it as much, and with a springer, the power will always be there and it stay consistent no matter how fast you shoot.

You pretty much nailed my biggest issue with them. However I do like to crack out my Rayven every once in a while.
Dose it make you feel like rambo?
Just a question, if you have a 3D printer is there any reason to buy a pump grip kit
Yes: Metal parts. You don't want the pieces connecting the grip to the blaster to be 3d printed.
Do you recommend this for a Retaliator with the air restrictor removed?
P.S. Nice vid :)
Do not remove the AR from Elite series stuff. There's very small performance gain, but you will put stress on the piston which has very thin ridges holding the o-ring on.
IAmBobololo But I already did, what should I do?
+Fisher Sun
I'm just saying for the future.
For now, uuuuuuuuh don't dry fire?
Bobo, you say that it's bad to remove air restrictors, and it gives it little performance boost, but why is all the other nerfers doing it? Isn't that why you use padding, so you won't break your blaster, because honestly with my Retaliator, I removed the air restrictors, and kept the stock spring, yet it gives you a huge amount of performance, not little at least for me.
That was during the N-strike era. For Elite stuff, the AR doesn't hinder performance.
IAmBobololo But don't you want as much air flow as possible?
+Teh Executioner It's not worth the extra 5 feet when you could be shortening the lifespan of your plunger head.
+Teh Executioner
Yes, you do. However, the design for the 'new' air restrictors don't hinder performance like the old ones supposedly did. Plus, I'd rather keep them in, get good performance, and not put my piston's integrity at risk.
IAmBobololo Suit yourself. Thx for the facts. Btw, how do you feel about the SBNC leaving? It must be hard.
and how many meters the gun can shoot the darts out
Sabrina Joy Soria with a nice spring it will probably hit 50-55 meters flat
Will it work with a ozzy nerf turf 10kg ghost spring?
what's your favorite modified blaster that you own?
Can I put this kit in a prophecy?
ILY BOBO
What happens if you a Orangemodworks works stage 1 and two kit in it?
Nvm
In the video he said that it works with the omw stage 1 and 2 kit
does it work with recons!
anyone notice the hair change between normal and pump action clips :)
...alpha trooper?
Misellus a vertical grip is always better than a horizontal grip
... ever heard of hot glue?
Personally, I absolutely hate the mag release on the alpha trooper, it’s way too small and can easily be missed when in the heat of battle. The retaliator mag release is perfectly sized and easy to use for me
Alpha tropper have thin bar inside and retaliator have thicker bar so its better for modding
Will this work with the recon mkII?
Hey Bono-how do I contact you to commission a mod?
Bobo
Tabasco in his "about" section is his email.
Bobo does atch attachmemts ship to Spain?
FrikiMaster 23 I'll add it to shipping options tomorrow.
Don't need a kit to fix all this FIRST!
I don't have anything witty this time. Oh well, still first. You lose. Stop trying.
IAmBobololo I will
IAmBobololo put it in the modulus recon mk 2 plz
IAmBobololo the one u modified a while back
IAmBobololo will you be selling this
+Mizter Wizter: Maybe. Not sure how compatible it is with the Mk.2
+Star Wars Nerf Blogs: No plans to right now.
+IAmBobololo Are you and Drac safe from Hurricane Matthew?
Nothing to report on in Atlanta. Going to an SENC event Saturday lol
ok good deal I wasn't entirely sure what part of Georgia you guys lived in
delta trooper comes out 1 year later but it sucks
como hisiste para mejorarla
cons- COST?
He starts shooting it a 4:05
please, please PLEASE tell me if it works with a recon 1?
No idea.
Would the kit with recon KK 2?
Very late reply, but it probably wouldn’t work because the Retaliator and Recon MKII have different (and incompatible) triggers.
well I'd love one of these but... I don't have a retaliator
Well get one and give it a gud ol' rub... hehe bwoi
can u send it to me i got my brother a retaliatar for x-mas but he wants to throw it away and get a new one
How to Slay The SENC In 2006:

ComradeSch it can’t handle a large spring reliably
cool video. noticed you are wearing a cattle decapitation shirt! \m/
2016: we modded the retaliator to a slamfire mode!
2018: why mod a retaliator, when you can buy a delta trooper
Put a worker stock raider stock or a m4 stock a pump kit slam fire kit some pickatinny rails a replica eoteck sight and paint it black with a spring kit then you have the best blaster in the history of retaliators
ah ya and take out the locks
Don't paint it n00b black
YAY! Video's 4hours old.!.
Hello fellow nerfers
Thenerfbros 115 asuh dude
Awesomeness Productions hey bro
Thenerfbros 115 sup
Thenerfbros 115 what's good
what it do.
bobo make a drain blaster
Not interested. Had one years ago, so it's old news.
Awesome it's really cool 😎
The Delta Trooper before it was cool.
This is compatible with the worker pump kit right? I was going to say something else but I can't remover what...
*remember stupid autocorrect
It it fits, it should work. Not sure why it wouldn't.
My retaliator always shreds darts
Can you do it for me also please
Use it As a slam fire secondary pistol
don't like the retaliator? turn it into alpha trooper for three times the price
Hi!
and its still a nice video
This guy needs to tell us how to install it
Not really. When you buy the kit, Atch Attachments sends you a PDF with full instructions for how to install (as I mention in the video). This video isn't a tutorial, it's a review- so I don't show installation.
TACLA
pagal
hey
magaki athi cardali
Or get a rampage, but that's my opinion so yeah.
I'm not a fan of the side loading. Adds width to the blaster and puts it off-balance.
IAmBobololo cool, you replied. ^w ^
thats cool
U can 3D print it urself too
Andrew aitchison has posted it on thingiverse
... but it is still just a retaliator.
he got a haircut during the video
Did anyone else notice the hair change?
2 hair changes in 2 videos, I'm on a roll :D
I thought it was funny that you were still wearing the same shirt.
That's why there is an alpha trooper
vodo2 If you've ever compared an Elite Alpha Trooper and Retaliator side by side, you would see that the Retaliator's bolt is shorter, meaning less dead space, and the EAT's catch is held together by two thin bars, leading to catch failures on springs stronger than the stock 2.5kgs. Also, the priming bar on the EAT applies force unevenly on the bolt sled.
Just buy a rampage
Nyk - Gota, Gaver ha that is like ten times cheaper
I'd rather have a pump action Retaliator over a Rampage. I really don't like the mag release on the Rampage, nor do I like the uneven weight when loaded.
And retaliator have thicker bar than rampage so u can have stronger spring
Got no choice, as much as I'd love to throw that slam fire kit into my Sonic Ice Retaliator they're long sold out. Never mind, I got 2 Rampages lel ;)
You litterly just made a alpha trooper
does this guy knows there is a point in the gun
that trigger makes me wanna barf
do you like your memes spicy?
Anybody else wathcing at 3am
It feels cool to the the one thousandth like
Loll
100th like.
Ich bin deutsch 😂
