From my 1970 parts book, this engine is Model 92502, Type No. range 0110-0300, with VacuJet carburetor. There is also the Pulsa Jet diaphragm carburetor version available for the same time period, Model 92902, Type No. Range 0010-0450. Newer models were also available with either the Vacu Jet or Pulsa Jet carburetor. They were Models 92502, Type No. 0600 and up, and Model 92902, Type No. 0500 and up. The difference is that the newer ones had an automatic choke not the choke a matic that yours has, So the diaphragm carburetor didn't replace the suction carburetor, there were at least three versions of each that were made concurrently. Unfortunately I do not have dates.
It's interesting that the model numbers are the same for both the choke a matic models and the automatic choke models given that it's a significant change, including, as you pointed out, the different gas tank and different holes in the block. Model numbers 92502 and 92902 were used for around 30 years with only the type numbers changing.
Your carburetor is Part No. 298986 and the gasket is Part No. 270250. Both parts are available new on eBay.

That engine was a good candidate to restore. I've never changed the ignition to a magnetron
before, so that was cool to see. 👍 I'm thinking I may do that on an old Sears I refurbished
that just won't hone in on the tune. That engine was a great refurbish! The insides looked
great and nice work putting those valves back in. That engine sings buddy!!! 🎵 Made my
day to see you save this one! 🍻 Awesome Video! Cheers! Standing ovation....👏

Thanks so much Al. I enjoyed this one more than any vid I’ve done thus far. It reminds me so much of the good old days that it’s not funny. I have another from the early 60s and another from the 50s that both need to live again. They will be on here very soon 🍺

      @@dirtyberniesgarage1194 That's great,
I look forward to seeing those! Those older
engines are very interesting indeed. 🍻
