  • This is.a JUST TEMPERED fretboard… (notice the awesome intonation) 😎 This build also features broken cobalt blue glass inlays and some blue stained wood filler topside inlays. extra stunning !! A spring was also added to give that extra dimension and sparkle. Hope you enjoy.

    Thank you Dale,
    You inspired me to play the cigar box. I have a traumatic brain injury from a motorcycle accident in 2010, I used to play reg six string, bass, drum's,and harmonica, but Lost the ability to remember how to play them. after I discovered your channel and seen you play a 3string I took it up and am learning from your incredible ability to teach me riffs and exercises on I've been revitalized. Thank you so much for your kindness to your fellow human. 😊😊😊😊😊😊

    KenW... I too had a TBI from a motorcycle accident. I not only suffer from memory issues, but motor function as well. I played Guitar all my life until then. Even had a few Stadium gigs. Now, I'm relearning everything at 56 yrs old. CBG's and this Channel help me alot

      Yo, Darren, I too have gone through some health issues that have effected my memory. After researching the 💩 out of it, I've found something that has really helped, (and it's all natural), it's called MCT oil & all it is, is super refined coconut oil. It's basically energy food for the brain. Three tablespoons a day & after a few weeks you will really feel the difference. It's also good for overall energy. You can get it at most Wal-Mart's or on line. The trick is remembering to take it at first.🙂 It really works.👍👍

    I’ve successfully used blue string trimmer cord. It’s also in a cool star shape.

    I am by no means a pro at building CBGs but I have done similar inlays but I put a layer of masking tape on the surface first. It contains the material and after drying it doesn’t smear. Just sayin.

    The trusty dusty Micro Cube. I don't leave home with out it!
    I wonder how using a turn buckle on the spring would work as a reverb adjuster or use two springs.

    I just had a crazy idea. Instead of some magnetic coil pickups picking up the metal strings, how about they instead pick up the springs that are inside the guitar? That way you could still use nylon strings, but also use single-coil or humbucker pickups

    That's a sweet set up with the blue highlights.🎶 I've often thought if you could "tune" that reverb spring in the box to match a certain key? (Like G or C for example). 🤔 By moving the eyescrews fore & aft. Do you think that would make a difference? Thanks, the curious raccoon.🤓

    Another grand job Del. There's always something special about playing a newly built guitar. I'm hoping to get back building again soon and have loads of ideas. Been busy writing three string tunes and have enough for an album! Yay. I need to do a bit of fine tuning on some (if you pardon the pun). Looking at your dot marker ideas, just thought of a cleaner option and that's to use a coloured knitting needle. Making a hole, inserting said needle and cutting off. May even try it myself!! Take care bro.

    Thanks Del brilliant Please tell me why I cannot get my Piezo pickups sounding like yours ?????????

  • @One_Mano_Blues_Band
    @One_Mano_Blues_Band Год назад +1

    Hi Puckett, I've seen in your videos that when you place the piezo you put it with the solder up, don't you think it would have a better response if you put it with the solder down and the flat part of the piezo touching the top. Greetings and thanks for your videos.
