John Trotto Anything from China on eBay will ship anything to anywhere so that’s good news for me. I will search for one tonight. Thanks heaps for taking the time to not only read my comments but also taking the time to answer them. Yeah I always wear eye and ear protection. Thanks for all your help mate, much appreciated.
Thanks. Hope you are ok with me using the design, pretty sure I found it on some random google image searching. Guitar was made for my personal use, not for sale.
@@JohnTrottoCreations No problem. I have no complaints. I am also very interested in CB guitars. I watched the video and saw my drawing. This is very inspiring. Unfortunately, RUclips deleted my previous comment, where I provided a link to the rest of my musical drawings. I think your guitar will bring you a lot of joy. Best wishes!
It was hard not to press the strings to the fretboard at first, but now I'm getting it, after my first build, I'm for sure building two string Diddley next!...I put snare wires inside, sounds plugged in!
wow man, little OCD on your part? just ribbing you man 😉 for the first time build you really pulled out all the stops and went super high-tech but resulted in a really nice build... sounds like it had a nice tone also
Hey I can't claim to know what I was doing so not much advice to give haha. But the website CB Gitty is really helpful and has good parts to use. Mainly just be creative and have fun with it.
John, great first CBG. Where did you get many of the hardware items? Many are not from CBGitty. I'm having trouble finding hardware from local benders.
John Trotto The notched out neck is a very good idea. I will adopt your method for my next project, but maybe use a corner brace for the body-neck connection. Thanks for the vid
very nice build... i mainly clicked on this really hoping you hadn't used a laser engraver... personally, i don't like the look of laser engraving on CBGs in the same way that some people think digital music lacks warmth... no offense, but it has a mass produced look to me which kind of goes against the homespun nature of the CBG thing in general... just my opinion
@@JohnTrottoCreations i bet it has wonderful potential for various applications... you know, back in the day peter max did something really innovative with the relatively new art of screen printing in that he mixed colors right on the screen... i think the whole revolution cnc tech needs that kind of out of the box thinking to come into play... in other words, i look forward to the day when people are using these things in different than intended ways instead of letting the machine just do a tedious job for us...
It would have been more impressive had you burned all that with a zippo and paper clip jailhouse style. Just kidding man , if I had a laser machine everything I own would be zapped ! cool cbg, I just made my first yesterday. Keep it up
I know the feeling about multiple hobbies. Glad I'm not the only one. Great build too
Dang, that came out really nice 👍👍
I'm just starting my first 3stringer project & can't wait to get playing
Those engravings are so beautiful! It's truly amazing to see what one man can do with a collection of high-tech power tools...
That has to be one of the best if not the best looking CBG I have ever seen. The laser engraving is beautiful.
John Trotto If you don’t mind me asking how much and what brand is the laser engraver? Knowing my luck they won’t be available in Australia.

I'm only jelly because you used a lazer but also, props for using my design. Looks good. because of this, I'm going to engrave old school
Beautiful guitar. Nice to see my picture of the treble clef on the guitar deck

Lovely work and nice presentation too.
So glad I stumbled upon your channel. Great video, can't wait to watch more of your content.
Nice build! The laser is incredible! Great info on the laser...I checked it out. A lot cheaper than I expected!
One thing for sure! Sounds really nice, not even plugged in!
dude that's awesome! would love to know more about that laser etching system you got there.
Love what you did! But find an old wood box, before sanding a beautiful painted one?
For your first time, you did an amazing job! Really looks nice! I'd love to get a lazer printer. That thing is awesome!👍😎🎸🎶
Nice build. Guess I need to dust off my coping saw and use it. Thanks for sharing.

Looks good
Man, you have some nice kit..
I like the idea of making them totally by hand, but that is a great looking guitar
that is a nice guitar..great job..
been noticing the strings being grounded on other videos .. yours looks great ..
I'm very impressed, but what if you want to get to the electronics inside again? I saw you gluing it shut and i'm like NOoooo00ooo :(
@@JohnTrottoCreations Very nice work though :)

Great job. I'm think of making one for myself. Any advice? Looking to do a 3 string fretless version.

@@JohnTrottoCreations I've been on their website and gotten so.e good ideas.
Great work!!! You obviously know your way around a shop. 👍🏻👍🏻 What laser are you using?
Thanks for sharing the video!
Great Job!!
what sort of laser engraver is it ? and what software do you use ? great job
That turned out pretty nice! Did you use a piezo rod pickup?

AWESOME !!!!!! dang !! love that!! drop in and say HI :-)
That big block across the back!! There goes your acoustics!!
How sounds?
Its been awhile now, has the neck bowed?
isn't it better without this big block inside the body?

Awesome build, but play it! I want to learn so bad! Diddley bow Sea Sick Steve!
