Hey Juzzie! man I can't tell you how you inspired me. I saw you for the first time on the "one man band" show. I've been following you ever since, trying to learn and be inspired by you, and still, whenever I feel sad and need motivation, I turn on one of those "one man band" shows and watch. I am a visual art student. I am into music as a hobby. After watching you, I realized that I want to make people feel how you make me feel with art, I can say that you have had a great impact on my life. I was already trying to learn the harmonica, thanks to your wonderfully simple, fun and soulful explanations, I continue with even more pleasure and motivation. I met the cigar box guitar thanks to you, and by learning from "cbg" luthiers on youtube who want to share this amazing musical event like you and I made a 3-string cigar box guitar for myself and I'm trying to learn it too. I hope one day I can thank you face to face. So really man, thank you so much, what you're doing is incredibly valuable.🙏🙏🤘✌
Hey you simply said it all. I totally hear you and relate to that. I plan to make my own CBG but so far I simply got rid of 3 strings from my acoustic guitar and tuned to open G and boom: my life has changed. Now it is way easier to practice. Loop station is in the wish list and will come when the time is right. I was also inspired by Juzzie and gol hold on an old harmonica from my family’s actic and have been practicing ever since. Super thanks for you both (Abdul for your kind words and Juzzie for inspiring us all with your joy).
Wow! Excellent, as always! When you play - it looks so easy, but when I'm trying to repeat some of your tricks - it's extremely difficult. Thank you for these lessons!
Hi Juzzie, Thanks again for a gret session - it's a shame you live on the 'other side' of the world, but keep these lessons going as it you are a great inspiration to us 'beginners'...
when i saw a new juzzie smith video on my home page i just go and grab my marine band(c)... i wont stop playing the harp... i even play when walking in the campus these days... harmonica definetly a great cure for loneliness and a joy when hanging out with friends... i look at my dormitory mirror and glass reflections from roads/streets all the time...seeing hot boy playing sexyy riffs/licks feels damn nice... thanks to your lessons and your time... love you always... ❤
Depuis que je vous ai découvert, j'aime le Blues à l'harmonica. Je voudrais me fabriquer une cigare box car je fais de la menuiserie. Quelles sont les dimensions de la vôtre s'il vous plaît ? Le corps ? Diapason 25"? Je vous remercie d'avance. Bonjour de la France 😊
Thanks Juzzie. You really are a gifted musician just listening to you is an inspiration. I can only only dream of playing half as good as you I am going to become a Patreon as you are a pleasure to listen to and hopefully learn a bit of the blues from you Thanks again Norm Western Australia
Such a talented Fella, your name came up in my veterans music group today, one of the guys is learning harmonica atm, small world lol , you're making connections everywhere Juzzie :) You're a true rare talent, keep up the awesome videos mate, I love em :)
Been playing CBG for a while, and feel I like I can add some blues harp at this point, so you just got a new student! Do have a tutorial of how you wrap your microphone? That looks like a permanent installation.
What is that awesome harp setup..been playing 50 years..thought I had tried or created them all..including Robert Lighthouse's rig, and my take on a green bullet and playdough, talk about heavy, may as well have tied a saxophone around my neck..appreciate your work..I have 17 CBGS, please tell me a little about the harp setup you're using in this video..thanks for your time and again, for your work..
Bonjour Juzzie, pourrais tu un jour nous présenter le matériel que tu utilises (loop, micro, porte harmonica...) En te remerciant, et bravo pour tout ce que tu nous offres
Hi Juzzie ! Let me ask you something, do you use humbucker in your cigar box ? Im really thinking in buy one and i have this doubt ...big hug from a big brazilian fan !🙌🏻🇧🇷
Thank you very kindly for the information Juzzie I’m just in awe of your talent 😮 I did hear your recommendation about the harmonica holder from another of your downloads, in that video you mentioned that a friend of yours makes your 3 string cigar box guitar Does he ship to Canada? What are the prices? Do you have a link to him? Does he or you know of anyone in Canada who makes a cigar box guitar of the same quality? Thank you for your time.
My RUclips blues teacher. G'day from Florida. Hey, I have a cigar box guitar but it's 4 strings. Will they make any difference in my playing? Silly question I know. Love your last video of Jamming and Looping. Oh and i found that the wireless mic was the issue of the loop gap. A shorter cable to the mic helped. Cheers
@7:40, what was that cool little riff. I can't seem to figure it out.Thank you.....never mind. I found it @0:07. I slowed the video down by 50% to see what you did. When are you touring the USA?

Hello! Is that a Rack It 2.0 or your DIY set up. I’m thinking about getting the Rack It but have concerns about it block a lot of my CBG’s fretboard.
The Rackit 2 is great. Can still see fretboard 👍
😊
Great Video! What kind of foot drum do you use?
Checkout www.woodskin.com there great 👍
What harmonica do you use it's the best music I've ever heard

That’s great your playing both. I would recommend the Rackit 2. Great harp mic setup for hands free 👍
@@JuzzieSmithRUclips Thanks. Contacted Greg and I'm ready to take a nice hit in the wallet! I'll tell him you sent me.

What looper do you use?
Wish I was there to play with you i love a 3 strng with a slide and a g hohner
What gauge strings please
I just use A’D & G strings in a normal guitar set. Either electric or acoustic sounds good. Usually use what ever I have spare 😊
Did Mike with Southern Fried guitars make this
I never got into the looping thing i just play old school like the old blues players for example Sonny boy WILLIAMS
Cool. Sonny boy is amazing 👍

4 String I’m not familiar with but you could tune G D G D and will be similar to 3 string just with extra D string. Have fun 👍
