My young teen is into wigs now and wants a lace wig but they are too expensive and are made for adults which have too much hair for her small head and face, so I'm making her one out of my own hair that I have been cutting off over the past few years and now have three pony tales and going to cut my hair again for the 4th pony tale. Yes! You finally got a canvas block!!! I coat mine...once a year, so it doesn't snag the block but is still pinable. When I put a bag over it...I tend to poke a bunch of holes in that.

You did a great job, ventilating a 360 lace isn't an easy task. With this pattern of ventilation can the hair be parted triangular if one doesn't want a box braid style? And is a strand overall advisable for a tiny knotless braid?
