I had to leave a comment. You are a huge blessing!! I literally just made my first frontal wig today, from watching and learning from you via this video and the wig is soooo beautiful and fits me perfectly because I followed your instructions to the letter lol, I wish I could show you pictures. Anyway, I am so thankful you shared this with so much detail. Your video is the best so far!!! Thank you so much sis, keep empowering women and never give up on being a blessing.
Very detailed can't remember the last time I've been this tuned in to a tutorial without skipping through.... You got me hanging onto every word. Thank you
Thank you! I've used your video to make a quarter scale doll wig. And honey lemme tell you it's a slow process but this doll, she's starting to come to life. Thank you so much for posting this.
I truly cannot thank you enough for this video. I have wanted to do this for so many years and this video is exactly what I needed. You are so clear about the instructions and the result was gorgeous. This is art
Are you pulling the needle and thread through the loop then pulling it down? I have searched for many videos and found this one to be the best one so far

Hi your frontal wig tutorial is on point and is very easy to follow.....you did such a wonderful job....from now I'm going to make my own wigs......May God the almighty continue to bless your hands. 🙏🙏🙏
Hello love thanks you for this video ..I have a question what is that white stuff you applied ..and is it recommendable to use an electric iron instead if you do not have the electric comb please help dear
This was my issue, I had my cap up high to match my head and it don’t even fit 😢 I have to take it apart and redo it over 🤦🏾♀️ Thanks for the video though, very good content. New Subbie!
How????? Did this video get any dislikes??? I don’t leave comments, simply because I didn’t think they actually get read BUT!!!! This video is so detailed and informative!!! 😍😍😍 I subscribed because of this video!!! Thank you for this!! You saved me $$$ and showed me how to customize my wigs completely. I can’t tell you enough about the lack of density from these wig stores. 😘😘😘 Looking forward to seeing more!! Thanks honey!!!
Thank You for watching, I’m glad you found my video helpful. & yes that’s one of the reasons why I prefer to make my own 😌 Also I appreciate you subscribing!
This Really Helped Me Understand How To install The Frontal🥰🥰, do u mind me asking where did you get the stand from cause I can’t seem to find a sturdy one !?
Glad it was helpful! And yes I have the exact stand that I used linked here in my Amazon storefront 👉🏾www.amazon.com/shop/brwnsugr (scroll down to the wig essentials category it’s the “gex” brand) I’ve had mine for over 3 years now
Thank you for your video, my question is about the length. I usually wear 12 inch wigs. So would I buy a bundle of 10 inches for when I sew the tracks on the nape and a 12 inch bundle for the tracks that go higher up? Your help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.
its important to use the right canvas size to fit your head circumference because if you make the wig on a bigger. size canvas head than yours then it'll be too big for you.
The frontal is so well done and form fitting, is this the same method used for the "glueless" method? It's so well fitted I'm thinking glue wouldn't be necessarily needed
No. When you put the wig on the frontal lace will cover your ears so you will cut the lace off while it’s covering your ear so that it lays flat right above your ear..not over it if that makes sense it’ll be easier for you to see it actually being done it was hard for me to do on camera so I didn’t however, there’s videos you can watch specifically for that. Hope that helps !
When making lace front wigs, do you have to purchase the lace with the hair already intertwined it? These tutorials start out withe hair already in the lace. Need a machine to do that.
I have a question about the thread, idk I just kept missing how you know how long to use and when you finished like when you transitioned from the doubles to the single did you knot off the thread then start a new one?
I love the way you were very detailed hence why am a new subscriber . I have question I cant get my wig to fit snug on my head . I measure the circumference around my head and bought the size canvas head . I even by large caps and extra large still not fitting properly. What am i doing wrong? Please reply I need help thanks
Thank You for subscribing ❣️ I use to have that same problem when I first started making wigs it’s gotta be the way your sewing the hair on the cap ( pulling too tight, or the cap isn’t fitted to your canvas head properly, if the cap bunches up it while sewing the tracks it won’t fit properly in the end )
I don't have a wig business so I can't speak from any experience but if you check out my amazon storefront: www.amazon.com/shop/brwnsugr I have a section dedicated to everything I use under the category "wig essentials"

longer length bundle always goes on the bottom

I'm making the wig as I watch! Thank you
Is it okay to have the cap not lined on the head like it would be on a real person? In. I noticed it’s pulled down. Thanks
Yes it’s fine. If I put it on the mannequin head like it was on me it doesn’t sit right.
Can I use a 23” head canvas to make a regular wig of the same size as yours
its important to use the right canvas size to fit your head circumference because if you make the wig on a bigger. size canvas head than yours then it'll be too big for you.
How did you get the cap to line up evenly with mannequin’s lines ? I have a hard time lining my caps with the mannequin.
your cap or mannequin head may be the wrong size
Such a helpful and detailed tutorial
Thank You!
The frontal is so well done and form fitting, is this the same method used for the "glueless" method? It's so well fitted I'm thinking glue wouldn't be necessarily needed
I don’t wear this wig with any glue that’s why I prefer to make my own wigs because they fit perfectly.
@@BrwnSugr it is absolutely beautiful💜

mousse
All I can say is thank you sis. Life saver

Thank you for this video I been really thinking about making wigs and selling them😫😘❤️
glad you found it helpful! and you should totally go for it, once you get the hang of it you'll be making 2 every hour😊
Are the ears out with the make your own wig? If not, how do you cut them for your ears to be out?
BrwnSugr Yes thank you. Also is it the same with the 4x4 lace closure wig?
Welcome & no a 4x4 closure wig won’t cover your ear, only a frontal wig will.
when you got to the top and did straight across did u cut the tracks or still flip them over?
fold over until I get to the very last track or 2 then I cut.
Ok thank you
Very easy to understand. Good camera angles.. thank you so much!!
Glad it was helpful!
Great Video! Question: Do you have EXCESS Cap because the Cap was too big?
thank you for watching 🥰 & no I use size small cap
I love this video. Am going to start practicing 😍😍😍😍😍🤗🤗🤗🤗. God bless you
glad it was helpful I need to get back to making my wigs from scratch super easy 😌
When making lace front wigs, do you have to purchase the lace with the hair already intertwined it? These tutorials start out withe hair already in the lace. Need a machine to do that.
the hair is already on the lace just as you seen in the video that’s never something you as the customer have to do yourself when purchasing.

Good tutorial!! I'm thinking of purchasing this hair to make a wig. Did they send you this hair or did you purchase it yourself?
Thanks, go ahead & purchase it! I loved it while it lasted 6-7 months
Amazon has the mesh dome cap in size small
my local beauty supple store has them now too
Beautiful sis and YES install PLEASE GOD BLESS
thank you, it’s already linked in description box
I have a question about the thread, idk I just kept missing how you know how long to use and when you finished like when you transitioned from the doubles to the single did you knot off the thread then start a new one?
it’s simple you use the thread until you run out / can’t loop it anymore then you knot it off..add more every time that happens
Hey if my vendor sends me closures/frontals that’s already preplucked and bleached will I need to redo the process?
why would you think that?
So do u purchase the lace front already some or do u make them and knot the hair urself???
did you even watch the video or check out the description box? lol
So when you cut the front of the wig cap, you go thru the elastic? Does the elastic unravel ever or do you seal it with some stitches or anything?
Yes you cut through it and it won’t unravel
You did a great job on your tutorial. What curling irons did you use to put in the curls?
Thank you & not sure of the brand but any 1 1/4 inch curling iron size will give you these same results
Thank you ❤. This was very useful
Hey I can’t find the items you used what are they called 🤞🏽🤞🏽
Did you get a chance to look at the description box?

This may seem like common sense but I just learned how to do this so I use a black cap on the Head ? And a skin tone cap on me for application?
The black wig cap is the actual cap when you cut the frontal off you will no longer have the cap under that area
