    If you win the lottery:

    2. do research
    3. repeat for a couple of days

    • @Dave-rm1mb
      @Dave-rm1mb 6 лет назад +54

      @@PablitosWay Yeah the best thing you can do if you win a serious amount of money is move to a wealthy area, far away where you're not going to stick out. Take friends/family if you want but don't try to live in the same environment you lived in prior to winning. Money does funny things to people and you can't win regardless of what you do. If you don't hand out money then you'll be resented for it. If you do hand out money then you'll still be resented for the attention you're getting and you could end up growing broke. At the very least, you'll end up giving away money for literally no benefit.

    About signing the ticket. Only sign if you're not going to claim it anonymously. If you sign it, you cannot forward it to your trust. There was a recent case about this. The person who signed the ticket was given the right to "erase" their name from the ticket and add the Trust to it, but it was a few months of judicial battle.

    Once i thought i won around 40k (chf currency) in scratch lottery and it happened during my work on the construction site. First i felt like jumping in the air from happiness, but instead i run to the toilet scared as fuck that somebody might have noticed something because i had this ticket with me. I was planning what to do, and how to do it without telling anyone what happened. I immediately felt like everyone will try to attack me. Anyway while figuring out how to leave the toilet without shaking in adrenaline rush i took another look at the lottery ticket and it turned out to be nothing in there... But i guess at least my impulses are good if i ever win something. Still, even believing i won smth for a few minutes was the greatest feeling in my life ;)

Depending on how much I won I would certainly be buying a new house and a couple of brand new cars as well as anything else I wanted and could afford. This video is great advice if you are young, but for an older lottery winner it is way too conservative. *My goal would be to enjoy a good deal of the money BEFORE I DIED and someone else gets to spend it.*

    Tips when you win a lottery...
    1.when you win a lottery you will called to a tv show so always try to hide your face with the big win ticket...
    So no will know that how rich you got....and also no spoiled friends...
    2.try to act like a normal people so you can refuse your friends wanting your money...by not saying
    That can cause your friend to be angry on you.
    3.always dont pubilc party.... i mean if you party with your friend or with neighbours for the win....
    They will try to request you to give them money...
    4.the most important tip is:
    DONT TELL ANYONE ABOUT YOUR WIN....
    So here is the tips if you get RICH/lottery winned....

  • @inachu
    @inachu 6 лет назад +138

    If after taxes you have over 300 million winnings then here are the steps you take:
    1. Move to another state where nobody knows you.
    2. Live in a gated non HMO community
    3. Buy that small house that has a mega basement..... It is a current trend where the mega rich buy small homes but mega sized basements so they do not have to brag about their wealth and attract thieves .
    4. Have a max of 3 cars. The fun car..... the utility car and the professional car.
    5. Out of the 300 million it is ok to waste 20 million buying the cool stuff for your new home.
    6. Do not buy any lear jets or stuff that will suck your wallet dry.
    7. INVEST YOUR MONEY in LEGAL THINGS otherwise you are just tossing it all away.
    8. Have lots of babies!

      Inachu Ikimasho If I won $200 million, I would just take it in installments. That way, I'll get more of it on the long run. Each installment would go directly deposited into a savings account. I would pay my taxes every year from the interest generated and the rest would go into multiple checking accounts in different banks.
      I would quit my shitty job and get me a regular easy and non stressful job. I would get it just as a cover up, even if it pays less and only work 40 hours per week just so no one around me gets suspicious about how I'm getting my income.
      Reason for wanting that jack pot is just to live with a piece of mind by knowing I have all that money as a back up, and knowing I'll never go broke, never worry about losing a job, and never worry about not being able to pay for a bill.
      I don't need a fancy luxurious car, just a good new reliable one. I don't need expensive name brand clothing. Just regular clothes that don't attract attention. I don't need expensive watches or all that jewelry. I would travel from time to time just to visit different parts of the world but not too much. Maybe once a year so no one gets suspicious. If I have to go to the hospital, I don't want to worry about not being able to afford treatment.
      In other words, I would live simple but very relaxed and stress worry free. No more financial worries for the rest of my life. Blend in with everyone else in my life. Not being some money target to someone.
      And here's the golden key........ by not telling a single living soul, I would still know who my real friends are and who in my family still appreciates me for who I am, not for what they can get from me. Case closed.

The stats suggest that around 35% go bankrupt within a year and others give it away thinking they are helping the world. if I really won, I would help everyone I could after paying off any debt that I may have incurred over the years, and I would help friends and family that I have now, and I would do the Lord's work, give selflessly, and bring as many lost sheep back to the fold as i possibly could, and then random acts of charity would follow, I would listen carefully to those that are in need, because a liar is liar, and they will all trip up on their own stories at some point, laziness is why many lottery winners have lost fortunes, and believing every story they hear without doing any research into rather those people are being honest, or not, but i would give, because there is no better feeling then of helping those that truly need, I've lived incredibly poor my entire life, because I am poor, but my heart is full thanks to my belief in the Father above, and his only begotten son. #9 straight off the bat is wrong, you should go for the lump sum and invest the vast majority of what you get. lets say hypothetically you won 200mil and paid taxes, spent a little, etc etc.... and you have 100 mil left over. if you invest and have a diversified portfolio and make say 10% growth (find some good funds, a financial advisor will help you, remember to find a fiduciary) that would be 10 mil that you can spend every year for the rest of your life. if you are truly financially literate then you can spend 1 mil and let the other 9 mil compound, if you did then guess what? you would make 10.9 mil the following year ($119,900,000 total assets at the end of the 2nd year if you didnt spend anything that 2nd year) now the trick here is to let your money grow each year by spending less than what you earn in interest. if you let your money compound you will make so much money in the next few years that it will grow to more than you would ever make by taking the annuity. once you have enough money, be generous. help some people who need it, if you have 100 mil and make 10 mil a year (hypothetically after taxes) that means you made roughly 27k a day.... just saying, if you helped a homeless guy by prepaying for an apartment for like a year, get him some cloths and food so he can go get a shower and try to get a job, you could really change his life. im not saying blow all your money that you received from interest, id recommend letting it grow and compound over time, but help people out.

      I did say that if you know what you're doing, lump sum is the way to go. Unless you're used to whatever amount of money you're receiving, the psychological effects of getting a lump sum of life changing money is too much for most

    • @116skinnyboy
      @116skinnyboy 6 лет назад +1

      yea you did say that, i noticed after writing my comment and watched the video. i wouldnt personally tell people to take the annuity, but instead take the lump some and find a few different financial advisers (preferably fiduciaries as you also stated) and see which ones you like best. i mean i get the point that many people who play the lotto already arent financially savvy and are likely to blow every last dime of their new found wealth. but i like to explain the best way to optimize their wealth.

    Taking an annuity doesnt guarantee you will get your money. States go broke and the fine print says they dont have to pay you. They can also discontinue lottery and same deal. Read fine print on tickets. Always consult a team of attorneys/tax specialist/ accountants. Sign ticket first all the time.

    For tax and liability purposes, set up a private owned and incorporated, numbered holding company. Separate the asset / cash from your personal name, first and foremost.
