This is a great runthrough with good explanations and corrections. Thanks for this, really helps a newb like myself. Going to head over to the channel for the strategy video now.
Great stuff Shea! Glad you enjoyed this one. FYI at 37:00 when the Ratlings defeated the Chaos Beast their worker should have gone to the Underworld as all units go to the Underworld (even when they win) after a fight with the Chaos Beast [EDIT NVM I see you corrected that later]. Thanks for sharing -- LOL at 'smoking green' :)
At 43:30 The Ratlings should have performed the action of the Fortress before resolving combat. The order of play is the active player always resolves the action on the realm before any combats which means players always get to perform the action even if they end up losing the combat. [EDIT] -- also, did the Ratlings actually activate the Fortress on that turn (even after winning the combat)?
You are quite right and yeah I did forget to do the action entirely. Whoops. Looks like Paulo put up a subtitle pointing out my goof, so hopefully this won't trip anyone else up.
Quality of this video is 10/10! More of this!
here's a playlist of all the videos shea has done so far for the channel: shea.rahdo.com :)

I absolutely love this game.

At 4:40 he says you start with 3 magic cards, but all players actually start with 5 magic cards.
note added... thanks
Just a small point. It's pronounced 'WHYvern'
Left brain and right brain? So you don't have a Jen?
Seriously though, great runthrough Shea.
I'm smoking green right now...
