Im 51 have been riding bikes most of my life and i've had one of these in the UK for 6 months now and its so much fun. A perfect machine for UK B roads and not a beginner bike at all. For everyone saying its not a Hornet yes it is as thats what Honda have called it.
Had one here in the UK for 5 months. Brilliant. Don't agree as to beginner bike. As another comment says, 90bhp is too much for that. Do agree completely about naked better than buffeting from screens, had them, done that. The hornet is fast, fun, compact, low, easy, hi_ tech, nimble, flickable, wheelie- able, comfortable.
Depending on what you’re after, the Hornet is so much faster, lighter, quicker turning and fun than the new GSX8 from Suzuki. However, the Suzuki does feel more grown up and stable. I’d go for the fun nimble Honda. Both bikes have the good virtues. However, have quite different characteristics considering there very similar platform.
Don’t do it justice it’s a great all round bike for the money well worth the price 😎🌴
Good review. Answered my questions. Thanks
How can you call a 90HP bike a beginner bike? We must all stop using that term. Did you even hear the car guys talk about beginner cars? Doesn't exist.
i totally agree, this will do 0-60 in 3.4 secs, pretty nippy !!
This vs the Suzuki on track pretty please!!
Hooter button? Hysterical....
As I'm built like an Adonis, much like yourself, is it sprung well enough to take our manly bodies? Or does the suspension need some fettling?
Honda cb 750 4 in line kinda lost is soul with those (CB 750 Hornet)...
Simple high rev 4 in line with simple cam . They can do it so nice and simple ...
Good Review. NJ
Beginner bike?!?! It’s a 750 with 90 HP. I wouldn’t call that for beginners. It’s a Honda, so it’s probably a more tame delivery of power compared to the way ktm makes thier bikes feel, and some people prefer that, but a beginner bike? No way.
It's small, it's light, the electronics help a lot, if you have self control it can definitely be a beginner bike. If you ride reckless neither a scooter will save you from crushing.
@@rhemyis when i passed my full test i asked my instructor what sort of bike i should look for next, thinking he would say something like an A2 which would be logical, and his reply surprised me. he said 'ride what you want' it's all about how you use the right hand, a sentiment ive heard a few times since. GL
Honda is getting pricing really off.
I mean if you new to biking I would ditch this and if you want a Honda an NC750 will do everything albeit little taller. But good power and much more cheaper.
Dare I say, for this money you can get a Kawasaki Z900! Choices 😂
In the UK the Z900 is much more £. If you can get the Z900 for the same money go for it, a better bike altogether
Shame the usa version only has 83hp. Dang smog bs.
As you say, it's a completely new motorcycle. Ergo, it's not a Hornet. A fine motorcycle it may be, but it's not a Hornet. The expression that comes to mind is "don't p*ss on me and tell me it's raining!"
Its a new hornet.
Things change
@@Bow-to-the-absurd I believe the new the extra-long-range A321XLR narrowbody aircraft planned to arrive with airlines in early 2024 is going to be called Concord. It's a new Concord - its just changed.
🆒😎👍!
Parallel twin - no thanks, A z900 is a far better deal.
I don't know what the price difference is over there but here in the UK the hornet is nearly £3000 cheaper than the z900 and the engine is a lot more exciting for road riding. I've owned a z900 and currently have a hornet. Go and have a go, switch the TCS off and it's a little beast! You'd be surprised
