Thank you! I bought the V2, not the Plus model…in fact I wasn’t even aware of the Plus. However, I like the smaller size of the V2, and I like being able to use motion tracking, no matter what app I am in. I don’t think I need six hundred degrees for the inception mode. In any case, thank you HoHem! You make great products.

At 3:20 you state that both do a tilt of 320 degrees. But the V2 only does tilt of +30 to -30 degrees which is why you cannot do flashlight mode with it.

Sorry I do not have the remote and I do not use Facebook live.
Is it possible to Bluetooth connect an iPhone to the Gimbal while at the same time, have the same iPhone operate as a camera in a Zoom meeting via WiFi?
I would suggest the iSteady V2 as it has the AI sensor on top, so you do not have to use any App for it to track you. You can run the Zoom meeting on your phone like normal.
Does the phones internal mic work with the mobile plus with that big anchor connected to the base of the phone?
Smartphones tend to have 2 microphones. I have not had an issue with it.

Both. The Hohem Pro App and the Hohem Joy App allow you to set to 4k 60fps

@@robye.2735 I use an iPhone maybe that is the difference, When i am in the App i can choose between 720p 24fps, 30fps and 60fps, I can choose 1080p 24fps, 30fps and 60fps, I can also choose 4k 24fps, 30fps and 60fps. That is the options that i see and can select. do you see all that? I have a feeling it is an Android thing.
@@MichaelCGrayPhotography certainly a samsung s21 5g smartphone, as per the question posed ... by me, it can only be ANDROID. I downloaded both apps. hohem pro and hohem joy, and opening them leaves me only 4k 30fps ...

Sorry, I can't really answer that. It depends on what YOU need it to do. The real big difference between them is the tracking. the V2 can track without using their App.

Compatible with iPhone stock camera and filmicPro???
Hohem is not on the list for compatibility with Filmic Pro. The gimbals will still stabilize, but you would not have much for gimbal controls. The V2 AI tracking on top would still work fine.

I am still searching for a gimbal that can follow a person independant of a smartphone app because I'd like to mount a camera onto it. Unfortunately the V2 only has a payload of 280 grams which is not enough for my Sony ZV1 which weighs 294 grams including the battery. I have looked into several options which in the end are no options at all because it seems that all these tracking gimbals or devices are just only made for smartphones. And the real options are either not 3-axis gimbals and/or are very expensive.
Yes, once you get out of the smartphone gimbals the prices goes way up for a quality gimbal.
@@MichaelCGrayPhotography That's right. But not even for money you can get a gimbal carrying a Mirrorless or such and that will follow you, both horizontally and vertically.
Not ideal, but have someone follow and film you. Might only cost you a dinner 🙂

I just found this video while looking for a gimbal for my Samsung S22. However, can I still use the mobile plus if I have a Bluetooth microphone on the phone plugged into the USB-C port?
Both gimbals can support the weight, BUT the iSteady Mobile Plus covers the phones port. As I mention in the video. You would have to offset the phone and add counter weights. You may then exceed the weight limit.
@@MichaelCGrayPhotography Yeah thanks. However, how would anyone than be able to charge the phone with the usb connection while using the phone? I don't think that is possible so that feature is a bit unnecessary.
Also, I have the Samsung S22 and can film with directors view, and use both back and front cameras at the same time. If I'm using the Hohems own app, than I can't do that right?
@@eriknordqvist9016 I know, they provide a usb charge point, but then block the phones port? LOL No the Hohem App can not view view front and back at the same time. If I need to do that I use an App called DoubleTake.
@@MichaelCGrayPhotography But the S22 has a build in feature for recording with both cameras as once so I wouldnt need a 3rd app.
