If you aim for the play offs an content with all them draws this is what happens mid table, no more settling for draws next season
I was just thinking that. Why not aim to win the league, not just get in the play offs. Chester’s fans have been awesome. Attendances are great for the division. Chester surely are big enough …
Not physical enough and we got bullied out of far too many games this year. Id like to see us strengthen in that area
We need to play with wide men consistently next season. We have conceded so many goals from balls into the box. No wide players to track the oppositions, and none to put balls in for our own players. I am not calling for the managers head but to not get in the play offs this season is absolutely criminal.
Honest interview from Cal as always. Still, a bright future for the club with a manger who I have every confidence in for the future.
We need some bully players if we don’t get some in we will get bullied out of to many games we havnt had players like that for so so long
What did the brackley supporters do??
Give Cal one more season, he will know what we need in the Summer
boooo
Just sums up our season Brackley definite our bogey team ah well there's always next season .
Absolute bottlers. Not good enough
lets get dackers in for next season . all chip in boost the budget
Remind me who dockers is lol.
dackers even.
Very disappointed, lesson hopefully learnt this season. Let a couple of good players go last season. Who are all doing a good job elsewhere 😢
They wanted to go so we had no choice.
Time to go take your money 💰
I couldn't agree more mate. A big club like ours couldn't even make the Play offs in this tinpot league. Bring in Craig Mahon.
Out of his depth and should go practice being football manager at Runcorn linnets!!!...he's had his chance!!
Get a grip, first season at the club gets us a 3rd place finish and his thanks is a bunch of tosspots storming the pitch and assaulting children! Literally nobody acknowledges the stress that’s put the club under.
He knows full well where the issues are, and no one will come into the job that cares more than cal
I also care for the club, doesn't make me a football manager. The way we have collapsed since the turn of the year is embarrassing!, but as long as you are happy playing the teams we do in this league, then that's the main thing, but I consider it lack of experience, and I am also allowed to voice a opinion!
@@tonymuir of course you’re allowed an opinion, but it’s not the premier league the ‘sack a manager when we have a rough patch’ just isn’t viable
It took 3 or 4 poor games at the start of last season to jump on cal, hardly what he deserved after his first season, if he gets the chance next season he will get us back on track for sure
Unless I've missed something, our play off chances are NOT "officially over". Admittedly it's a massive stretch but hey. We've all seen crazy final days of the season across football, right? Just keep the faith for a few more days. Maybe. And hope that...
1. Boston lose on Tuesday then draw with Hereford on Saturday.
2. South Shields and Spennymoor both lose on Saturday.
3. Chester win by 2 goals on Saturday.
Boom.
😊
That’s the spirit!
delusional
@@johnlipscombe561That's a bit harsh! I'm not printing up 'playoff winners 2024' shirts or anything just yet! Simply pointing out that it's not officially over as Cal mentions. And hey. Almost zero chance is better than no chance, and at least gives an incentive for heads up and confident performances next week.
Well... until Boston win on Tuesday and blow my smidgen of positivity!
😊
Somehow I can't see Banbury beating Boston tonight when their already relegated.
