3:18 those are dev kits for the original xbox, PS2, Gamecube and dreamcast. dev kits are usually differ from the normal retail system to give more horsepower to make it easier make games (worry about optimizing stuff like fps after they just get the game to work right etc) as well as special software and interfaces/ports

@@SsgssDrew That is the Xbox alpha controller and was developed only for the dev kits. I agree that it does look a lot like a Genesis controller.

If you want to get revenge on a tree humanely, go for an old pine tree on your own property. The limbs are just weak enough to be broken by tugging on them, and since the ones without bark have been air drying for so long, they make excellent campfire wood. (Don't burn them indoors, they're full of pitch and will ruin your stove, plus they make a lot of smoke)

The image of the shotgun is one that brings up some fond memories for me. As funny as it looks, the only criticism I have for it is that blanks or not, he supposed to be firing into a barrel of sawdust. I can't be sure as to what piece they're playing, but this is how they create the Canon fire for the 1812 Overture, they use a shotgun firing blanks into the sawdust to mimic the sound of a cannonball being fired because that is a dynamic part of the end of that piece.
I had the privilege of playing this piece many years ago now when I was in high school. As a flautist, The first chair no less, my part in the overture was fairly complex and that made it an intimidating thing to perform... Even more intimidating because my natural response to the shotgun shell being fired was to have a split second blackout because I have a really good to built in defense mechanism that protects me from a lot of injuries during accidents but definitely eliminates my consciousness for a second. The only way I managed to continue playing that piece with the shotgun firing was pure muscle memory so it's a very distinct recollection in my head... I remember playing, blacking out for a split second from the shotgun blast, then the lights come back on and my fingers are still moving and I'm still playing the piece lol
A very similar kind of experience happened when I performed in the opera Carmina Burana (of O Fortuna fame) because we had the full ensemble there for the symphony's centennial. I was singing for the opera but there were portions of it that were so loud and overwhelming that it was impossible to stay completely in connection with your own voice lol

Little late, but things you’re referring to are called Virophages! And they’re basically the Microscopic version of a heat seeking missile as each species will only target one specific type of bacteria. Which had lead some people to prepose the idea that we use them in order to counter act the increasing phenomena of anti-biotic resistant “super bug” bacteria
Bacteriophages are pretty cool. However, virophages are viruses that need a confection with another larger virus to replicate, essentially infecting a virus. Bacteriophages are viruses that specifically target bacteria, and may be used in the future to combat increasing antibiotic resistance.

In case you didn't know what those 'consoles' were, they were for developers. I have a few myself. The only one I can use is the Dreamcast. Some games you can actually use it to hack them, other games just play normally, and there are some where they don't play right away but instead gives you a prompt to play certain ways.

Yeah that was what I was thinking. Dev Kits are always bulkier than the normal consoles since they usually have extra hard/software installed.
@@trentsims yeah the Dreamcast one is no longer needed thanks to the Dreamcast community it's the only one on that image still getting games due to fans and the horrible security on the discs
