Love how you are teaching and explaining as you go along so other's can understand what is happening because u have some persons who love to judge and criticize the house coming along nicely a step at a time the longest journey will be completed
yes thanks... everyone want to see pretty finished work but so we need to show them the ugly stressing part of the process much love and respect me family
Keep up the good work mi General it must finish as long as you pit in the work love to see what you doing clean work. Keep put in the work for you and the family bless
i gave up on getting the blocks level with each other. dont even check that they're level with each other anymore. funny thing is it still looks level with the naked eye. i make sure each block is plumb and level and then plumb with the block beneath it and move on. my pride wants it perfect but my sanity is more important than my ego. those 8 inch blocks are no joke, i'm using them for the entire structure and it is not a fun process. my record is 50 in one day [by myself]... i watched this channel and other videos before i started and thought this was gonna be easy. was dead wrong.
Here, we use 8 inch for foundation and ground floor walls if we going up a next level. Main difference between what you guys do is we use ground beams 95% of the time. But rebar in every other block.
yes buy its not that they wear out but because i have a glove monster and a sock monster they always goo missing lol but i love there red ones they are close fit and flexible i have really tried a lot of them.
Blessing to you .. am new here and I find your channel to be very helpful. Just want to see how to set the steel for blocking up like from foundation the one the block go over while blocking up
Good day thank you so muck for supporting the channel we have a video where we are steeling up for the decking but after installing the steel matting and the cages the first wall bar needs to be 6 inches from the column cage and the others wall bar have to be 16 inches from the first one
So when you finish the wall do you "splash then render" which is the finish coat. I always get this confused they built my house in Westmoreland in 1992. It's block with deck roof.

Don't worry about the electricity going off maybe your next project will be going solar 👍
yep that in the plants too... Thanks 🙏
Thats good jobs builds house or business
lol if cord line show you the problem early so ou can solution it and you still dont like cord line
it make you get too comfortable and forget that you need to plumb and level as you go
Nice, but you only need to plum a level the rows you are laying don't need to carry the level all the way down 👇 they already plum and level 😊
yes but these block have a lil fault where the top of the blocks have a lil curve edge so i have to plumb each one.
In portmore that
Yes it is

The flashing goes on first the make sure that the wall is plumb and straight and the render to make it smooth so water cant soak the walls
