I like the trick of putting the cement mix inside the block and lifting it to allow the mix to get under the block in order to raise it. Its these little tricks of the trade that max the work easier and go faster. Respect!
Blessings my brother, new to your channel, but I can clearly see a noticeable difference in the type of workmanship you provide ..... compare to so many others all over you tube pretending to be builders or trades-men!! A couple of Questions for you, 1. Is there a average depth or should I say an industry standard for starting a foundation? 2. what are the pros and cons when it comes to including a water tank in the foundation of the house?
Good day RG BOSS thumbs 👍 up on your work man, I watch all your videos n your works looks really good just continue to do what you do man. Can I ask you a question RG BOSS? can you teach me the steel work I really love the trade but I don't have anyone to teach me I also live in Mandeville, you DON'T have to PAY me I just want to learn
Greetings, bro wonderful. Thank you for loving the work. Those small steel they are bones of de structure so we cannot do without them without your bone. You cannot stand without the steel the building will fall.
If you didn't already have the built wall to use as reference to square the fresh block, how do you go about establishing the first block in such a case?
You can just start a block there. You eventually going to need it. Just put one block to get your square. That was great question by way. You can see you paying attention.
The broad side is to pick up the block easly. So when you pick it up and lay it, it should actually be laid on the narrow side, with the broad side facing upwards.
@@rgconstruction5288 arite one last question why you start with a full block an and with a full block at the starting? Is it because no space was there for a half?
It depend on the material that you are using if you are using sand you will get less out of it if you are using stone dust you'll get more because the sand takes more cement than the stone dust
Of all the mason on RUclips, you explain the work the best, anyone can learn from you
The man bad , me love it, the works and everything 🎉

Hi. I enjoy your ideos very much. Please tellme why there is a wall bar every eight inches instead of sixteen inches.
Because its a tank
And requires extra reinforcement
You are awesome brother

Nice video but you need to zoom down more on the cord line.
Like the video, how far apart do you place the steel for your blocks?
8" apart
Need you to come to Africa and show some of these masons what right looks like. More time the buildings collapse because of shoddy workmanship.
Make a video teaching how wide apart the single steel should be in a foundation
okay
Respect
Love yo work Bro. from Africa Uganda ❤
I want to ask, what's the purpose of those small iron bars within the blocks. Can't you do without them?
Greetings, bro wonderful. Thank you for loving the work. Those small steel they are bones of de structure so we cannot do without them without your bone. You cannot stand without the steel the building will fall.

Ohh
I Get it now. You know I've been seeing some build without them n that's why I asked.
For young people, based on your experience, can you share where they can go to learn the building trades well.
What's the mixture for casting the block after laying them?
I'm from Manchester, are you close to mandeville

Definitely gonna share this channel to my students
The blocks has two sides, a narrow side and a broad side, which side does it rest on or it doesn't matter
good question on broad side
The broad side is to pick up the block easly. So when you pick it up and lay it, it should actually be laid on the narrow side, with the broad side facing upwards.
The second row why u start it there and not at the end ?
Please I would like to know what you are building.Do you have to fill all the block holes. If so ,why?
So I was building a tank. So that's why I have to use. So many steel and all the block holes has to be filled for reinforcement
Thank U .
Mi a prentice suh just a ask a question it did need so much steel general?
yes its for reinforcement
@@rgconstruction5288 ok keep up the good work mi a learn di work still can been a do labor work for a while but mi can rough cast now
@@rgconstruction5288 arite one last question why you start with a full block an and with a full block at the starting? Is it because no space was there for a half?
What is a horizontal
Why don't you guys use head joints between the block in Jamaica? You need head joints to help keep water from penetrating through the block.
because I fill all the black holes with concrete
How far apart are these steels?
8" apart
What is the size of those blocks?
6"
My brother are you a mason or a general contractor?
and do you work Island-wide?
here is my email rgconstruct22@gmail.com you can contact me if you have any questions or need any additional info
Basement it of to strong
How can I get in contact with you reconstruction
rgconstruct22@gmail.com
One quick question, how many 6inch blocks can be laid from a bag of cement?
It depend on the material that you are using if you are using sand you will get less out of it if you are using stone dust you'll get more because the sand takes more cement than the stone dust
From a bag of cement to a barrow of sand you can get up to about 60 with a stone dust you can get up to about 80 90
Ok RG. Respect for the information. Bless up brother
I still can't understand why so many wall bar 16 are 32 inches apart 😮
Hi, how are you? how can I contract you about doing a project for me?
Hello, you can contact me at rgconstruct22@gmail.com
Why not just use a template?
Nobody ever start at the beginning wheb the steel go in the ground
You don't want no laborer
