I tried listening to this whole thing…what is your problem with braveheart? I know it was an Oscar upset, but you guys don’t really go into why you think it’s bad. You take the stance that it was so universally bad that you don’t have to even explain. I think it’s classic.
Ashley Judd for Heat would have been a cool nominee. As would Angela Bassett for Strange Days. I’d also vote Se7en as a best director nom/win
I loved Babe!! There are a lot of lessons to be learnt in this “tiny” film with a heart.

Braveheart is the best example of a terrible inaccurate historical movie.
Terrible? It is a masterpiece
