The bit hanging down is for the workers to fit the cladding in the under side of the roof. You might notice it’s slowly been moving from right to left as the clad along 👍
Hi Nick, the cradle suspended from the roof is a work platform that can be moved to any area beneath the roof, in your shots of it you can see sheets of the internal roof cladding which is currently being completed. The seats you thought were broken aren't damaged, they're just conveniently stacked in piles at the back of that level and will all eventually be installed. That is new walling you can see in the corner next to the main stand, it's not obvious on your video but there are also metal beams in place that will support the terracing that's going in that corner. There's one other thing you might not be aware of regarding the 'tunnel' in that corner, it leads to access gates at that end of the main stand (similar to the tunnel and gates at the SKD/Kop corner) it's how they get the cherry picker in and out without it having to cross the pitch. It's how the remaining steel work and terracing will be brought in to complete that corner. PS: The additional rail seating on the Kop doesn't involve replacing the seats, all they're doing is installing metal rails in front of the existing seats. PPS: Enjoy your holiday mate, you deserve the break 😊👍
Hi Nick thanks for your last video before you go on holiday, have a well deserved break with the family and looking forward to when you get back to it next week.
Hi Nick great footage as ever ! I think the e word your looking for re doing the seats is - haphazard- 😏😂 It was KC who put up a short clip of how they get the seats back to red using a light heat source on them ( I msg him to confirm)👍 Dave C
Seat is for the cameraman, the dangling thing is a work platform for cladding the inner roof. The boarded up area isn’t going to be glass, it’s where the away fans are going and they won’t have any executive area Looks like metal going across the wall has just been added.
Have a GREAT Holiday Mister Drone ..... look forward to your return and Liverpool climbing up the Prem Table...!!!! ♥ Single seat Gantry...!!! and looks like a new wall.... wow just look at that Anfield Carpet..!!!
Alright Nick. Great vid today. Clearly the inside of stand is no where near being finished. New stand does show the Kenny Dalglish stand and Kop End are too small. Heights of main and A.R.E stands are hugh. Gonna look amazing. Thanks again. Have a good holiday and we'll see what difference 😉 is made with a week out. 😊😂 Enjoy Nick.
They're definitely readying the seats or the corporate section but it does look strange the way the seating is spaced out, they're not in any rush and i would be surprised if they were thank you again nick have yourself a well deserved holiday you have put in the work non stop.
I hand on heart remember that seat being there earlier in the build.. its a seat for the cameraman apparently..or major deja vu moment but I could swore that has already been there
HI NICK I HOPE YOU & YOUR FAMILY HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY PS I HAVE NOT MISSED ONE OF YOUR VIDEO YOU ARE DOING GREAT WORK ALL THE BEST FROM TOM & GRACE MOORE FROM CORBY
Yes Nick, the brick wall was part of the old stand, but the block wall behind is defiantly new, maybe it’s the bearing wall for the terracing in the left corner?
When you where saying about the random gaps in the seating, could that not be where the white seats would be going? They usually put a logo or initials into the seating don't they
Great video as always mate. Thanks for all your videos! Something else with the seats has been bugging me for a while. In the Anfield lower stand, there are random red seats in the white Nike logo where the seats should be white!!!
I really do hope Nick when you bring out your next footage of The Annie Stand next week, that there is a lot more SEATS IN and a bit more Tidying Up🤞🏻🤞🏻🤞🏻 Does any Know what is Happening to the spare land down Walton Beck Road opposite the Club Shop?? I hoping the Crests will be UP by the weekend ( scaffolding is coming down and brickwork is almost finished). I should think by next week, most of Anfield Road will be tarmac. there is a health & safety inspection soon. Anyway, to ALL Liverpool supporters, be proud of this Anfield Stadium and we are going to have a Great Season and come October the Noise on match days is going to Awesome. YNWA 👍👍🌟👌🏻🇬🇧🍻🍻🥃🥃. Nice Nick, see you next week. 👍👍🌟🌟
The smaller triangle of land opposite the club shop at the junction of Venmore Street is owned by the City Council, they've just granted Planning Permission for 12 retail units and food outlets to be built on that land. The bigger area of land between the 97 Avenue and the Twelfth Man pub is also owned by the LCC and they've put it out for tender for a 'leisure' development which will attract more visitors into the Anfield area. The club has no input or involvement in those two developments but will obviously reap some benefit from them
Hi Nick Is it my imagination or are they changing the majoriity of lower level seats throughout the stadium to from red to red and grey Similar to the new front rows of the original Anfield Rd that appear the maybe have different seat and back colour?
I was wondering if you have heard anything about when lines are painted on pitch. Would love to be able to see that an can't wait for goals to be erected too.. hopefully you can catch that..again thanks for your dedication an enjoy your holiday
The club erected the goalposts and nets on Monday and marked out all the lines you're asking about but they were very thin lines and are barely visible on the video. Since then the goalposts and nets have been taken down again.
3:28 I notice with the entrance signs that they havent labelled them AU, its just AM for both the middle and upper sections, which is odd. Does that indicate that they are adding some flexibility for the hospitality seats in the middle section, therefore allowing them to move away fans into AM7 and AM8 and giving away fans AL7 and AL8 in the lower section?
The wall at the back of the Away section is all the insulation and noise reduction material between the Lounge on the other side, the spots are not on glass but are the fixings that hold the mineral wool panels in place. It will be boxed in with red coloured cladding when finished.
Hi Nick, Would the single seat in the left side of the stand be for a cameraman ? also the vacant space for seats, would they be putting in white seats to complete the setup? something like the Nike tick.
Gonna miss you Nick what with KC away too. How very date you both? 🤣 Have a lovely time away with your family. And leave RUclips alone. No sneaking a peak as to what is going on 🤣
Could I ask a question please? why don't they have any big screens at Anfield to show replays? Even my team Grimsby Town has one at Blundell Park. You would think a massive club like Liverpool would have them showing replays of goals, and they could make a bob or three from advertisements as well.
That chair on its own is for the cameraman And no chance will they be filled in by next week, those seats? Looks so random why they are putting those chairs in the new top tier like they are
The seat in the corner for a camera man its a new camera gantry. The AU entrances seem to be on the side of the upper tier that has been allocated to away supporters. So whether AU just makes it easier to distinguish between entrances for away supports and the rest of the "home" supporters. Based on seating plan submitted in planning application the away supporters get 1000 seats on lower tier and 2000 on upper tier.
Its for the camera operator that seat Nick 😂😂. On a separate note can believe that corner has not been sorted. How can they open the lower stand with that massive hole at the end? Would have thought they would need steel stantions then concrete for the stand. Can't see that happening in next 16 days
That seat is the cameramans gantry for TV coverage. He even has a protective wall to stop the away fans throwing stuff at him. Breeze lock calling has srarted going up in the corner as there will reinstate what I understand used to be a steward room in that corner under the old section of stand and the flooring and stand will go above it.
Seat is for a cameraman and has been there a while. Wall at the back in that corner was new yesterday so hopefully the start of that bit getting filled in
Rail seating, it's been that way for over a year now. It's not designated as safe standing though, Anfield is still officially an all seating stadium but the club are currently applying for some blocks to be licensed as safe standing areas.
New words to the song, " where have all the flowers gone ".....where have all the drone flyers gone, off on holiday. When will they ever return, when there all happy again. Just a joke. Keep on smiling.

Steve Great update Cheers 🍻🍻YNWA 👍👍🌟
Thanks Steve!
Cheers for all your great work (as usual). Enjoy your well deserved break 👍 👏👏
The random fitting of the seating probably typifies why the project is behind schedule. Great video.
The thing hanging down from the roof that “doesn’t look right” is a work platform for the rope workers to use when cladding the underside of the roof.
Hi Nick thanks for your last video before you go on holiday, have a well deserved break with the family and looking forward to when you get back to it next week.
Hi Nick great footage as ever !
I think the e word your looking for re doing the seats is - haphazard- 😏😂

Hi Nick great video. The seats are numbered and have to be fitted in the correct place, that's why they are all over the place.
That seat is for the cameras to film the games mate
Seat is for the cameraman, the dangling thing is a work platform for cladding the inner roof. The boarded up area isn’t going to be glass, it’s where the away fans are going and they won’t have any executive area

That single seat is a TV camera operator seat.. I'm sure it's been there for ages.
It's almost bizarre to think that only a few weeks ago, the pitch looked like a wasteland!
They're definitely readying the seats or the corporate section but it does look strange the way the seating is spaced out, they're not in any rush and i would be surprised if they were thank you again nick have yourself a well deserved holiday you have put in the work non stop.
Thank you for the pictures and sorry hope you have a nice holiday.
Excellent work Mr.D. I'm looking forward to the Interior footage. Have a good holiday mate.
Absolute bell of the end variety
Enjoy your hols! Great vids as usual.
I hand on heart remember that seat being there earlier in the build.. its a seat for the cameraman apparently..or major deja vu moment but I could swore that has already been there
Yeah that was def there previously
yeah it's been there
Ye I realised that whilst I was editing. It’s a camera seat. Was just too difficult to edit out 😂🤦♂️
That's a platform in the new stand for the workers I was on the tour last week and the guide told us when he showed us the worker on it in his harness
HI NICK I HOPE YOU & YOUR FAMILY HAVE A GREAT HOLIDAY PS I HAVE NOT MISSED ONE OF YOUR VIDEO YOU ARE DOING GREAT WORK ALL THE BEST FROM TOM & GRACE MOORE FROM CORBY
Cheers once again..have a good one 👍
Yes Nick, the brick wall was part of the old stand, but the block wall behind is defiantly new, maybe it’s the bearing wall for the terracing in the left corner?
I suspect the new breeze block wall is to separate the new upper tier from the lower tier concourse/exit areas.
When you where saying about the random gaps in the seating, could that not be where the white seats would be going? They usually put a logo or initials into the seating don't they
Great work. Have enjoyed your videos a lot. Enjoy your holiday
Great video as always mate. Thanks for all your videos!
Something else with the seats has been bugging me for a while. In the Anfield lower stand, there are random red seats in the white Nike logo where the seats should be white!!!
Have a great holiday you deserve the break thank you for all your hard work.
Thanks for the update Nick, enjoy your break

Excellent video Mr drone
Interesting update as ever, Nick. Happy hols.
Hi Nick, the single seat on the left is for the Sky/BT cameramen.
Top video fella you never let us down
Quality as always mate. Much love from Denmark!
Good work Nick, enjoy your holiday
Thanks
Have a great holiday!
I don't think the corporate section has windows bordered up. The original plans showed that section walled up. Just windows where you can see them.
Have a good break. Thanks for the update. Perhaps the seat dont come in number, so can only place what does arrive. Maybe I'm just guessing, lol x
Enjoy your time away mate 🎉
thanks for the video Kev, have a great holiday
The single red seat in the left hand corner you pointed out is a TV camera position called a “Camseat” and it’s been there for years.
Hi Nick
Is it my imagination or are they changing the majoriity of lower level seats throughout the stadium to from red to red and grey Similar to the new front rows of the original Anfield Rd that appear the maybe have different seat and back colour?
Have a great holiday Nick … thanks again 👏

Nick brilliant video again pal , have no idea what is happening with that lower left hand corner lol . Love the one seat though 😂
That is for the TV camera and operator in that corner. Always used to be there. 3:55
Yet another great vid mate. Have a great holiday Nick, I guess the Mrs is doing your packing 😂
If that is a camera position, what a great seat👍
Dont look very busy.maybe they are all at Singapore. Cheers for the vid fella
Enjoy holiday always brill
The wall at the back of the Away section is all the insulation and noise reduction material between the Lounge on the other side, the spots are not on glass but are the fixings that hold the mineral wool panels in place. It will be boxed in with red coloured cladding when finished.
Enjoy your holiday kidda
Hi Nick, Would the single seat in the left side of the stand be for a cameraman ? also the vacant space for seats, would they be putting in white seats to complete the setup? something like the Nike tick.
Nick on the LFC promo vids it's green seat's in that corner that's going in
Happy Holiday!
As every many thanks, enjoy a well earned holiday.
Yeah those coulds look fully stacked with rain to come alright
that seat in the corner by the main stand and anfield road end is used to the TV people, they have a camera operator there
Gonna miss you Nick what with KC away too. How very date you both? 🤣 Have a lovely time away with your family. And leave RUclips alone. No sneaking a peak as to what is going on 🤣
Mate can you look behind you on that fence for the plan of the for roads on that pls at the end of video pls bud
maybe that's for t.v camera .. (bottom corner) 👍
are the blank spaces maybe for different colour seats like the nike tick on the lower section🤷♀️
Could I ask a question please?
why don't they have any big screens at Anfield to show replays? Even my team Grimsby Town has one at Blundell Park. You would think a massive club like Liverpool would have them showing replays of goals, and they could make a bob or three from advertisements as well.
Klopp has said he doesn't want them. Says fans should live in the moment and can watch replays after the game.
That chair on its own is for the cameraman
And no chance will they be filled in by next week, those seats?
Looks so random why they are putting those chairs in the new top tier like they are
Surely that single seat is a TV camera point?
The platform with the single red seat appears to be television camera platform. The red seat is for the camera operator.
No windows behind the boarding in the away section, it’s going to be clad.
The thing hanging down could possibly be rigid safety netting for the rope access guys in case they drop anything?
It's the naughty seat.
I wonder if the seats are installed in the order they are opened due to the numbering UNLESS of course the numbers are put on afterwards.
Its for the camera operator that seat Nick 😂😂. On a separate note can believe that corner has not been sorted. How can they open the lower stand with that massive hole at the end? Would have thought they would need steel stantions then concrete for the stand. Can't see that happening in next 16 days
Will only take a couple of days to fit the steel support frame and another day or so to fit prefabricated concrete terracing blocks.
@@nickparrott5025 will be interesting to see how they lift it all into place given the confines. Hope someone captures it
The seat will be for camera man there is one in the Kop by block 202
Gaps in the seating might be where they’re gonna put in White seats for a logo?
Noticed they changed the exit numbers at the bottom of the stand
Sorry Mr Drone that seat is for the camera person.. I was going to say Man 😮 . A new angle. 💥
Is that single seat in the corner by the main stand a Tv camera seat ?
the random lone seat is for a TV camera man
That seat is the cameramans gantry for TV coverage. He even has a protective wall to stop the away fans throwing stuff at him. Breeze lock calling has srarted going up in the corner as there will reinstate what I understand used to be a steward room in that corner under the old section of stand and the flooring and stand will go above it.
Breeze block walling, sorry for the typo
Where the seats are missing wonder if putting white seats in spell something like kop end l f c
Different colour seats will b put in place where the gaps is for sponsorship
Scoreboard in the corner perhaps?
Cheers Nick 😂
The random seating could potentially be due to seat numbers being already put on the seats?
Bare you back on monday? Premier League season start in 9 says, next friday
Yes that seat is supposed to give the lucky cameraman optimum viewing angles etc. Almost 360 access to play.
Only a 90° view of the pitch from that position though
are the gaps in the seats because there going to be different colour
Are the seat gaps for more white 'Logo Nike seats' or Standard Chartered logos?
Gaps in seats could be tobmake it easier for workmen to walk around the stand
Maybe the missing seats aren't going to be red in colour?
Seat is for a cameraman and has been there a while.
Wall at the back in that corner was new yesterday so hopefully the start of that bit getting filled in
The little seats are for the camera men when it’s a televised game
Do the seats arrive onsite already numbered, but in a fairly random order maybe? That might explain why the get installed haphazardly.
I see there’s a fair number of safe standing seats on the lower part of the stand
Tv viewing point
Progress but it's slow a bit like the rebuild of the team this summer
Won't be finished until till Xmas that job. Absolutely loads to do still, then they have to do trials, testing and commissioning.
