Hi Nick, the "thing" hanging down under the roof is a suspended work station for them to carrier out the cladding to the underside of the roof. I've seen it previously in use on one the videos.
Great view of the Annie Stand from the KOP after 2:30 mins into footage, nice one Nick. Liverpool are going to have a Great season with a Great Stadium. YNWA 👍👍🌟🌟👌🏻👌🏻🍺🍺🍺👏🏻👏🏻
You're correct about the seats discoloration due to sunlight. Red is a colour particularly susceptible to this. Anyway, yes, they use a blowtorch to bring the colour back up. As another poster said; there's a video of it being done on RUclips. The colour pops straight back up as the flame goes over the seat surface. Whether the club will do it, I don't know. It's an easy fix though. No need to paint or replace the seats.
KC Imageworks included the video of this being done in one of his Anfield updates. It's amazing just how quickly the colour comes back when they apply heat to them.
Thanks Nick. Cracking video as always. Enjoy the break away. Not sure if we’re gonna miss you more than you’re gonna miss posting videos? Don’t answer that in front of the Missus 🤣
Surely those 'AM' (Anfield road middle) and 'AU' (Anfield road upper) signs are wrong. The AM ones should say AU and the AM ones should be on vomitories further down. AL (Anfield road lower) obviously found in the lower stand. The same nomenclature is used in the Main stand.
Think they are going to re-hang the Liverpool crest on the new stand if you check the virtual seat map and look up it’s on there, maybe that’s why that piece of roof is hanging down, great video as usual 👏
Alright Nick, great view into yhe ground from yhe Kop end. Slow progress I think. Lot of work going on inside. Alot of stuff has been cleared out. Painted the access ways and steps on tiers to match elsewhere in the stadium. I think when you ho back in a week or so a massive difference its gonna make. Nice one Nick
Nick behind you on at the end of video on the railings is that the plans for the road , pls could you next time have a look pls buddy, Phil from Dubbers/ Dubai cheers
That corner of the Anfield road stand lookslike it's going to be open the way it is. Look at the New stand how it's going to look at there is a gap there. It won't have seats or be built up by the looks of it.
I did the tour on Saturday and asked the bloke on the tour if seats are going in that corner and he said no..but I'll take that with a pinch of salt..also there's loads of work still to be done on the underneath of roof with lots of cladding still to be done near the KD stand.
it is what they use to fix the roof as they can not use a crane they hang from roof on ropes and this is to stop any thing from falling including the workers
Nick, had seen original plans with that corner having seats in place and saw a few days ago a photo impression with crowd sat in the stand and it shows no seats in that corner, unless my old eyes did trick me!
That is the a scaffolding platform that attached to a zip wire ether end that moves left to right so they can attach the cladding to underneath they internal part of the roof
Hi Nick, Great work again. I really love watching your videos. Anfield is a fantastic venue but it's just a shame that further expansion of the SKD stand & The Kop is going to prove problematic. Not only with the lack of space with the close proximity of housing & the road but also with all the public transport issues regarding any future increase in capacity. Anfield is a special place & I can understand supporters wanting to remain here for all the obvious reasons. However, I still believe building a new stadium, close by with an 80K+ capacity with all the amenities etc would have been far more beneficial in the long run. Although obviously, it would have been a lot more costly. The new stadium then would have been eligible to host UEFA international tournaments with a bigger pitch size than Anfield. I don't want to sound too pessimistic, as it is a fabulous venue. Thanks again for posting all your videos. You do an incredible job & you should have your own TV show. You'd be very popular indeed. Best wishes. Owen.
I think the wait on the corner is bcos they are now putting seating there which wasnt originally in plans, so maybe they have had to order new steels etc so there is prob a wait for that for about 6 weeks
@@AdamShep85 it was shown on the originals drawings yes but not in the pictures liverpool released. Plus they announced cpl months back they are avle to add a hundred plus seats in that corner, so just saying the delay is prob waiting for materials
At back of lower tier they are note going to be individual boxes. Using the seating blocks on lower tier for reference an starting by main stand. At back of first bay will be access to visiting supporters concourse behind with toilet directly behind glass wall. Behind the next block will be a kitchen. Behind next two blocks will be the executive lounge. This will be in middle of stand with the associated 173 seats at front of lower tier above. Those are the seats at bottom of lower tier already installed. The remaining 3 blocks will have hospitality suite behind with the associated 1627 seats on bottom of upper tier around executive suite seats. The hospitality suite takes up majority of concourse at this upper level in the new stand.
If they heat torch them this year they'll be replacing next. Although it brings colour is impacts the safety by disturbing the compounds in the seat to keep them safe and useable.
Hello Nick, the signage on the vomitories is wrong in my opinion. AL will be the bottom tier, anfield lower AM will be the middle set of vomitories, and AL will be the top ones I think who ever has put them up has made a mistake and will be sorted out soon. Thanks for all your content, and have a lovely holiday.

I don't know about the roof but why would they build the shop there in the first place as it definitely will need knocking down if the kop ever gets expanded.
I dont think the lower tier will be ready for the bournemouth match. With the way this builder is working in such a disorderly manner no way anything will be completed soon.
Not sure where they'd go. Its only 2 rows shorter than Wembley's goal end. Plus it has a lot of roomy corporate seats and exec box areas. Any taller and it would be beyond recommended max distances. The ARE is actually as big as places like R Madrid behind the goal. Slightly surprising, but that is an optical thing due to the fact, the ARE is almost like one huge single tier, not many little tiers as Madrid is. In the flesh, the ARE looks VERY big indeed. Most importantly, Anfield requires substantial transport work doing. Then stands 3 and 4 and the corners could be looked at.
@@RS-xx9ve I was comparing it with the main stand actually. It looks a little shorter than the main stand. Anyways, can’t wait for the Everton game on 21st of October.
