The Main stand looks absolutely gigantic at the end. Its actually got more rows than places like the Bernebeu. Only 3 rows less than the highest row at Wembley. The ARE is also impressive, hopefully one of numerous pieces in the jigsaw of Anfield's modernisation and expansion. The other 2 stands are in fairness looking due for redevelopment.
Yes exactly. I love stadium re-builds. I think Kenny Dalglish stand needs demolishing and the Kop. Getting around height restrictions is another matter, especially the Kop. I'm blue BTW but love seeing Anfield growing, as a stadium fan.
👍🏼 This is so much better than having to build a new stadium, the costs that would entail and get to keep the atmosphere rather than start over. Just want to press fast forward and see it complete!
@@kendorsednice to hear a refreshing opinion from a blue. I'm also fascinated by how they build the stadiums. Recently watched a 40 min vid on how they built the Emirates in a confined space cos of its footprint
Thanks for the footage Nick, nice one 👍👌🏻🌟 Buckingham you need to Buck Up your ideas that place looks a tip. I know it doesn’t need to be spotless, but the place needs to be tidy. in the stand it self, you have barriers lying down on their side, not even protecting anything. Don’t forget Buckingham your reputation is on show. Anyway, enough of that, just make sure that you’re ready for the opening game against Bournemouth at least.
Good stuff Mr Drone, another good video. I 100% agree that there still looks an awful lot to complete to even be ready for mid October. The club would've known months ago how far this product is behind schedule.
Great video and yes progress at last, however, shame on the contractors to have not made better progress. The club absolutely would have known or been told and typical of our club have communicated badly and not wanted to upset the yank owners. It's going to be one hell of a snag list for them in October I imagine. Thanks for getting that put live for us to watch. Have a great break, and don't take your drone on holiday!!!!
Correct mate, almost all of the people on here don’t know what there looking at. A mess can be cleaned up in a matter of days. How much actual commissioning work left to do I can’t tell. 👍
The finishing work is always the toughest. There is always that thing to do, just one more job to finish I know, been in the building industry for over 50 years, just one more job to finish I put my earmuffs on make a list and go through the list Cheers have a great day
There has been progress but as someone who has worked on big projects like that and with the first home game coming up very soon there is still a very lot to do the biggest part of the job will be a testing the systems and making sure that everything works properly when that stands fully open specially when you have supporters wanting to use bathrooms bars . I hope that it gets done
Thanks, Mr. D., for sharing your contact's footage. It shows that a great deal has been done, but it still looks like the finish is a long way off. Busy, busy, busy.
Is level 2 the 1st floor? If so, i can't see it being open 'in stages', before January. Hopefully level 2 is the 2nd floor, and level 1 is close to completion. If so, we need a video of that. Otherwise, this looks like one of those dodgy builder tv programmes. The ones where they turn up when they feel like, and work at a snails pace because the wage is high. Steel burners where on £65 an hour.
I've really enjoyed you video's and Anfield is turning into an incredible stadium. I find it interesting that the supporting roof trusses in the new stand are incorporated into the roof whereas in the older stands they are above the roof line as is common in many stands across the country. I wonder if this will spark a new trend?
Hi Nick Totally agree still a lot of work to be done before completion, The Project Manager, Contractor and the Employer (LFC) would be holding progress meetings on regular basis and would have known as soon as any part of the project is going to be delayed. The issue with delays in building is who is going to pay for them, its not always the Contractors fault A guess as with all bad news its a case of when do we tell the public, they we're never going to brush this under the carpet so the Employer LFC should of made a statement sooner. Have go holiday
And to think that this was meant to be all ready for mid August, is there any part of this build that the contractors can say is finished. BTW Mr D, i don't know what your idea of "loads of workers" is, but I reckon there was no more than a dozen.
Great video, but the number of workers on site is not enough for the amount of work that needs to be done . I would be worried about Buckingham, the builders they already had the roof builders go into administration a few months ago. I feel Buckingham may be covering over cracks in their financial issues. I like to hear from people who have worked on sites like this. Would builders reduce numbers if on a time sensitive project with penalties.?
Carillion who did the Main Stand had financial difficulties and was liquidated 2 years after doing the main stand so Buckingham could follow the same suit if the board of Buckingham doesnt get their arses into gear 😬😬
@charles5553 Thanks for that information. I knew something like this had happened before, but I couldn't remember the company name, and if it was Liverpool FC, it happened to. I see it happening again, big time. I hear Buckingham is meant to do Wrexham new Kop build, which was meant to start in June.
Thank you to the fella who covered the inside. Understandably, it's a mess it's a working area, clear walking areas, and it could have been end of shift why not much going on. But happy to see inside nearly, catch the hanging down piece, and have to freeze it to view it better lol xx
I cant believe how many engineers and construction workers are in the comments. There is 2 months until the new deadline, every match missed will cost Buckingham somewhere between half a million and 1 million pounds in fines. They will get it finished.
What a mess mate.. I know it is easier said than done but we are way way off before its fully completed.. Not just weeks but we r off by months. Any ways cheers for the footage mate quality as always from you.
Ready on October?😅 previously we only judge the complete date based on outside build, as the daily update are more on outside job. But the inside, still need more time to complete.
Glad to see I’m not the only one disappointed in Buckingham for their slow progress. Also the inside of the stand could do with some tidying. Lots of equipment not being used and taking up a lot of space.
Slow progress? They've built this since Sept 2021 despite all the home games played since then. The stand will have a reduced capacity for 1 or 2 games but the builder has been 'slow.' Maybe some of you people should get jobs in the building industry with your expert knowledge?
Can’t see that being ready in October.. not sure what time this video was taken but the lack of activity is beyond belief.. assume that there must be penalty clauses in place.
When watching this video remember that the Level 2 concourse will serve home fans sitting on upper tier, so would imaging the most resources will be working on ground floor concourse which will be needed for the first match. Then the Level 1 concourse which will accommodate away supporters plus hospitality suites, will be the next priority. This level is going to be the last thing they will be looking to have completed.
Yeah still a lot more to do, I think it will take a few weeks maybe another month before everything is finish, but in this video, there is definitely more activity happening in there, YNWA👍🏼
I really hope the lads face which got caught in the walk around doesn’t get him loads of grief ……I can see bosses pressuring him for a name I’ll bet that’s their style
Individual sinks...... That will be a nightmare to clean.... Would've been better with those trough type sinks... Thought it would've progressed more than it has. Still tons to do. Not keen on that gap in the roof lining which looks like lights and maybe speakers (not the floodlight ones)
Also looks like they aren’t installing dyson hand dryers even though they are meant to be cheaper and better for the environment ( not good for FSG’s ESG score !)
Great video Nick if I'm honest l'll be surprised if the council give Buckingham or for that matter LFC a safety certificate for the lower tier there seems shed loads to do. Andy.
It’s the perfect metaphor for our transfer window. Not much going per usual. It looks like a dump that won’t be done till the next transfer window ffs. Another thing, I have never seen so many projects started and not completed. Could someone at least get on a broom?
Yes it looks a mess yes it will be behind as we’ve been told … but that’s a working site .. once the scaffolding and materials are gone it will soon come together. opening the spaces for paint plumbers and more.
In my opinion it looks as if its nowhere near finished. They definitely don't operate a clean site policy. Nothing seems complete inside. The footage is good to see.
Someone laughed at me when i said it wont be fully complete by end of september start of October. These british builders are one of the most laziest workers.
Looks like cowboys have been working here and it looks like it's gonna be about two months over the schedule where are the workers never see any works there's always just a few standing about I'm looking for a job where you can just piss about and get paid.
You're on allthese videos moaning constantlybut dont acknowledge they've built this despite all the home games we've played. The stand will have a reduced capacity for 1 or 2 games and all people like you do is moan about the 1 or 2 games, not the 60+ we've played since the build started.
That building work looks shoddy and a mess just saying…not really the attention to detail Tottenham stadium has. Could do with a similar fan experience though
Reds are disappointed its not ready for the first home game but rather be behind than going into another season with that embarrassing old annie rd stand it was awful & embarrassing for a club of our standing
What a mess, they are under the pump on this Job and nothing finished but so much started. Housekeeping is not good neither is access and egress. LFC have defiantly gone cheap on this. Before you critique my review I have built a stadium. The contractor will have to get more resources to finish this on time, they will then be in attendance snagging for a minimum of 12 months.so sad really.

As a retired painter this made me laugh. They better hope they don't get a fussy clerk of works with a mirror on a stick.
Great video as alway Nick. Enjoy your well deserved holiday. Do not put the drone in your suitcase. Enjoy ✈️🏖️⛱️🌞
Loads of progress made on the underside of the roof and seating. People commenting on mess… on an active building site… They’ll moan about anything!
Correct mate, almost all of the people on here don’t know what there looking at. A mess can be cleaned up in a matter of days. How much actual commissioning work left to do I can’t tell. 👍
The general public don't need much to moan about
The finishing work is always the toughest. There is always that thing to do, just one more job to finish

I put my earmuffs on make a list and go through the list

How can LFC talk about opening the upper tier in stages? It needs to be finished completely, tested and certified. Good to see the inside, mind.
Brilliant video of the interior thanks alot to you and your contact.

The Godfather of Drome does it again. Excellent video. Good insight from that footage.
Thanks, Mr. D., for sharing your contact's footage. It shows that a great deal has been done, but it still looks like the finish is a long way off. Busy, busy, busy.
Have a good holiday see your video want you get back Geoff
Great video, I love the internal half brick walls, when the big screens are on them too!👌👌👌👌
Thanks for the video I think you be lucky to be in for Christmas 🎅

I like it.
Wow...was never ever going to be finished in time by the looks of it 👀

wicked view from the new top bit

No, it was meant to be ready for Bournemouth on the 19th which is two weeks this saturday
@@coolcat1022 no it was meant to be ready for a test event before then

I’m saying November December when this is ready after seeing that video
This will be ready in the New Year.
My word that’s miles behind! That won’t be ready until December maybe even into 2024! 😮
Ready for Christmas at best
Did the tour today and got footage of them starting to paint the pitch lines .let me know if you want it mate
Great job getting footage of inside nick, they are months and months away from finishing interiors in. My opinion
Can‘t wait to be on this new Stand on Dec. 29th against Newcastle ❤ Thanks for your Daily content 🫶
You think so?
No chance.
They will want it open for the Everton game on October 21st. Won't be done for the 24th September vs West Ham. Lucky they got a month in between games
Ready on October?😅 previously we only judge the complete date based on outside build, as the daily update are more on outside job. But the inside, still need more time to complete.
looks like it should be finished just in time for Christmas

What's the hold up? Has B&Q run out of tin plate and self-tapping screws?
Thanks for sharing . It’s a shame the guy didn’t walk up to the top row to show the view of the pitch from the back of the stand .

I think it is WAY behind the schedule!!!
They’re not going to be able to get the pitch side internal cladding done until the end of the season. Will equipment on the pitch to reach that
Never in a month of Sundays will this be finished in the next three months!
1.21, seen the state of the breeze blocks on them corners, no care taken on this site. Whatever they’ve been hitting against it will look even worse
Great video but definitely a lot more work to do
It wasn't exactly swarming with people, all eagerly working to get the job finished, was it?...
What a mess.
Agree looks a shower of shite
I really hope the lads face which got caught in the walk around doesn’t get him loads of grief ……I can see bosses pressuring him for a name I’ll bet that’s their style

What is the expected date for completion ?
Great video Nick if I'm honest l'll be surprised if the council give Buckingham or for that matter LFC a safety certificate for the lower tier there seems shed loads to do. Andy.
This looks like the concourse or hospitality for the upper tier so this won’t be needed for a lower tier only opening.
Looks like there is no urgency to get the work finished. Workers working so casually 😅😂
That must be over a week old,if you go to 2.56 you see the cladding on that corner hasn't been installed, it was done last week
Even if footage was taken last week, do you believe much progress has been made since?
We're months away from full completion. Id say mid January

Bramley Moore will be finished before at this rate lol
They'll be running out of money soon.
The expansion is far from being finished, maybe by December it will be finished, I expected the Premier League to start with the open level
Looks like Trumpton fire station
Looks more like December rather than October before it’s finished 😂
Yes it looks a mess yes it will be behind as we’ve been told … but that’s a working site .. once the scaffolding and materials are gone it will soon come together. opening the spaces for paint plumbers and more.

Jesus looking at that it won't be ready till next season 😂😂

After seeing that I wouldnt recommend Buckingham for anymore stadium conversions or even a loft conversion.
I can’t see any of the stand being open in time for the first home game. At this rate it will be the new year before they finish.
How much has the new stand cost ?
80m £
Be lucky to have this finished for Christmas 😮👎🏻
Looks like there is still a couple of months work left
I wouldn’t say loads !! I spotted a conduit bender set up and person carrying an isolator so I would say , just the Sparky’s working in their !!
Lol.. Hope they are finished before season 24/25 starts 😂😂 what a *@#$$## mess
Oh dear
Maybe too much things in red colours. To fue toilets todoo from behind?
😂 dont even think xmas what a mess
So i guess he was sacked or left before he gave this ....😁👍
Here's me going lookslike hardly anything has been done lately, and then see this and realise they have been working their asses off inside 👍🏻
This is miles away from being done.
the pitch looks small
It is one of the smaller pitches in the premier league.
Months behind. 🤷🏻♂️☹️

@@1701_FyldeFlyer blablabla you know its true. A disgrace

Absolutely miles behind programme. Not a chance of being completely finished until December / January. Another embarrassment for the club.
nowhere near completion
