Thanks for the review Chris. Would be great to get a comparison review between the Ozone Flux and Armstrong XPS wing that you also recently reviewed.

Have that comparison vid in the pipeline, with the Strike 3 in the mix too.
They have similarities, but actually very different feeling wings.
Welcome to give the shop a shout for advice if you're choosing anytime

@@poseidonwatersportsuk Great to hear and that you are including the Strike Third in the comparison. In my view those three are the most exciting wings available to buy in the UK at the moment.
I opted for the Armstrong XPS which I've so far found to be fantastic. I'd like to see how it compares to the other two wings. I've found the XPS wing to be very direct and responsive, feels weightless when flagged and stays put, and the "hard" handles are brilliant. Only downsides are that the windows are useless for my height - easier to lift the wing than get the window into position to see through - and the white panels aren't going to stay white for too long I imagine!

@@slashdotdash1 I'd trade poor windows and dirty aesthetics for good riding performance everyday!
Don't think anyone would be disappointed with either the Flux, XPS or Strike, they're all banging wings. It's only at their limits that you really notice significant benefits, it's probably your riding style that'll guide whether you want the best possible speed / drift / hangtime.
Will aim to get that comparison vid out as soon as conditions allow

@@poseidonwatersportsuk very interested in seeing how the Flux compares to the Strike. Looks like they both flag out very well in surf

great review! XPS or Flux for your daily driver?

Neither would disappoint for any riding style, they’re both exceptional.
For performance riding I’d go flux, for flow in the waves I’d go XPS.
Will get a comparison vid up soon 🤙

interesting review you got a new sub, i see you riding a armstrong fg surf with a fone foil , does it require shiming ? i have armstrong and fone foil that are totaly not working with my board ( gong lemon shimed from everywhere) , im planning to get a rocket wing v3 do you think it's could work with both foil (with army) withouth shimming ?
You should consider doing voice over, the gopro mic is really bad when there wind , that what i do on some of my video now it's extra work but it's worth it ( i had to help my french friend understand your video because the sound was bad).

Yo, cheers for the feedback, wasn’t happy with sound quality either, but wanted to keep it real, rather than voiceover. didn’t have the conditions to re-record and wanted to get it out there 🤙
I find the army ma and f-one sk8 sit fairly similar in the box and work really well with the FG boards without a shim. I’d consider shimming for more front foot pressure when prone. for wing i find it great as it is.
It’s not the first time I’ve heard of incapability between gong boards and other foils.
The rocket wing-S V3 is a benchmark board, don’t think you’ll go wrong running it on Army or F-one foils.
I havn’t felt the need to shim the mast when on one with f-one/Armstrong/axis.
      They’re lively too!
