The paths are lined with benches, many of which have been donated by families of US citizens who have enjoyed the gardens whilst based at the nearby US embassy or other US institutions nearby.
    FARM STREET CHURCH
This church is a Must when visiting London!
A fine Catholic Church in the heart of Mayfair with a vibrant community, where over the years people who wish to become Roman Catholics have come, and there’s many examples of famous people doing this.
The church has also been known for the Arts over the years.
The church has a sculpture of the homeless Jesus laying on a bench.
This church of the Society of Jesus in the Mayfair district of London is dedicated to the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, popularly known as Farm Street Church, harks back to the 1840’s when the Jesuits sought a site for their London Church. The name derives from the Hay Hill Farm that extended in the 18th century eastwards across Berkeley Square and beyond. The church was designed by Joseph John Scales and completed 1849.
The facade in Farm Street is an imitation of the west front of Beauvais Cathedral.
