  • I put my DualTron Storm Limited on a small scissor lift in my garage with both the front and rear wheel hanging off the edge to allow free movement of the wheels. I turn on my scooter and start in gear 1, then gear 2, and finally gear 3. And these are my results. Keep in mind, I am operating my scooter with NO LOAD on it. And that is how I achieved the advertised 74+MPH.

      Supposedly they do. At least that is what Voro Motors advertises on their website selling the Dualtron Storm Limited.

    Should have gone with the Bronco. I can literally ride at 1 mph. Those squarewave controllers are no good with any scooters….let alone 72v ones.

    • @steffenhawkins1323
      @steffenhawkins1323  2 года назад +2

      At the time I purchased my Dualtron Storm Limited, I hadn’t heard of the Bronco. It wasn’t until after I’ve had my scooter that I came across a video showcasing the Bronco. I believe it may have been Jimmy Chang channel that I first got wind of it. I am fairly new when it comes to this whole electric scooter phase. So, everyday I may come across something that I haven’t heard about before. Of course wishing that I could’ve, would’ve, should’ve. Especially when it comes to the controllers. Believe me, I am completely with you when it comes to those SquareWave controllers. They are something else. However, before the SineWave controllers were discovered, I am assuming that the electric scooter makers only had one option and that was the way of the SquareWave controllers. I honestly think that any future electric model scooter from any company should adopt the SineWave controllers and just make it an industry standard. Thanks so much and Keep Smiling

      @@erickspears1889 I hear you about the Kaabo. That will be my next scooter. The Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro. I purchased my Dualtron from VoroMotors. I have fully enjoyed their 24/7 customer service. Always kind and polite. Right now though, I am having to exercise my warranty with VoroMotors due to my controller dying on me resulting in it smoking and coming to a slow stop on the side of a semi busy road. I didn’t have my original box anymore. However, The UPS Store advertises they will pack and ship your item no matter big or small, even cars. So, that’s what I did. I brought my scooter to The UPS store and left it with them. They packed it up and sent it to VoroMotors in LA for repair. Thanks so much and Keep Smiling

    Do you smell any burnt tires;) look around a bit. then you will stop spinning in the air. the tire sticks to the controller with the throttle open

      @steffenhawkins1323  2 года назад

      Yeah, it did smell like burnt tires. I got kinda worried for a minute. I then put a box fan behind the scooter while it was up on the scissor lift to hopefully cool down whatever was causing the smell. I sure hope I didn’t damage the scooter by doing that.

    This scooter is lethal/dangerous on gear 3 lol looks really good with that LED light all over the frame at night. I can buy it but it's just way too much for me and the given fact I'm a small person haha. I like the vsett super 72 i just don't really like the range on the super 72. I could add on a external battery pouch mounted on the dual stem for extra range but ah don't know if I wana do that.

      I’m not familiar with the Vsett scooters. Never ridden one. However, I hear that they are pretty good scooters. I guess it all depends on in the rider. And your right, the lights on the Dualtron are pretty awesome. Especially at night. Sure does make a lot of heads turn in awe. Thanks so much and Keep Smiling

    • @steffenhawkins1323
      @steffenhawkins1323  2 года назад

      Believe me, I would. However, according to VoroMotors, I am only allowed to put no more than 10 miles on the scooter. Anymore than 10 miles, I can’t return/exchange. Believe me, I would. The scooter is a very powerful scooter. However, I probably would exchange it for a scooter with SineWave controllers like a Nami Burn E, Kaabo Wolf King GT, or a Bronco. Those supposedly, you are granted more control over the entire scooter and those controllers also make the scooter run/ride much more quiet and efficient.

      @@diosprotoburiel7972 I purchased my Dualtron Storm Limited from VoroMotors.com
      They should have them in stock by now. When I ordered mine, it was still during “pre-order”. So, I ordered mine on November 30, 2021 and it arrived on January 06, 2022. I really like VoroMotors because they have a 24/7 live chat feature on their website where you can actually chat with a live person anytime 24/7 and they are extremely polite. One of the main reasons why I ordered from them was because they include a extra I think one or two year extended warranty with your purchase plus, before you get your scooter, it is shipped to them first, and then they do the initial unboxing of it first, test everything first to make sure everything works and functioning properly as advertised, then they box it back up in its original packaging and send it off to your shipping address so that when it arrives at your doorstep, you get exactly what you paid for. Their customer service is top notch. I would highly recommend them. They don’t jack up the prices either. And it’s free shipping.

      @steffenhawkins1323  2 года назад +1

      The reason, I’m sure you’ve heard, why it doesn’t reach advertised speed is due to the wrong motors installed on the first batch of Dualtron Storm Limited’s. However, the company finally acknowledged the growing issues with the first batch and they have come up with a solution to rectify the problem. And that solution is the way of sending the new, correct motors to current owners of the first batch with instructions on how to install them. After that, then our speeds should be as advertised and what the current owners have paid for. Thanks so much and Keep Smiling.

    is all your setting set to the max?

    • @steffenhawkins1323
      @steffenhawkins1323  2 года назад +3

      Well, all except for P7 (the acceleration power), that is set to 3. However, everything else is set to max. Given the fact that this is an electric scooter, when accelerating, the front wheel/motor always seems to make this whirring sound every time I accelerate. I don’t know if this is normal or a defect. It almost sounds like it’s struggling. There are a few things I don’t like about the scooter, however, as much as I would like to at the very least exchange this scooter for a scooter with SineWave controllers like the Nami burn E, or the Kaaba Wolf King GT, or the Bronco. According to VoroMotors, I am only allowed to ride no more than 10 miles before I can’t return/exchange it with them. Granted I did keep the original packaging and foam in case. But, yes, my settings should be all at max, again, with the exception of P7.

      I have been riding it. I try to ride everyday, of course weather permitting. Sadly, Reno has been very cold and very windy recently. When we did get a small break from the cold wind. I was very excited to go for a scooter ride. Well, towards the end of my scooter ride back home, disaster struck. My controller popped and started smoking, resulting in my scooter coming to a slow stop on the side of a semi busy road. So, I currently do not have my scooter with me. I am exercising my warranty and shipped it back to VoroMotors so they can fix the problem under the warranty. So, in the meantime, either until I purchase the Kaabo Wolf King GT Pro or I get my Dualtron Storm Limited back from VoroMotors, I have decided to create “Random acts of kindness” videos for my Channel.
