I remember when I was younger, after this was removed from Netflix, I was always BEGGING for this movie on DVD so I didn’t have to wait for the next time this came on Nickelodeon. I got it on DVD and Blu-ray yesterday (as of now), so my childhood dream finally came true!

I remmember my cousins got a giant bag of pirated movies from this guy in ny and they had the spongebob movie. It was filmed with a camera and I could see people's heads but it was still awsome

I actually saw the SpongeBob movie in theaters five times! First time with my brother and mom when it released, second time with a set of cousins before Christmas, third time as we snuck out of one odd film, fourth and fifth time with my brother at a $1 theater while our parents watched R-rated flicks. It was definitely memorable considering I never had the DVD to watch it again until my cousin left their copy one day. Might still have it somewhere at my house or it went to donation…
