I am shopping for GTS I have watched every single Macan review this guy is bang on highlights expression and communicating short and fast to the point. Review process covered all highs and lows without BS
I’m so excited to pick up my 2017 Macan Turbo. Depreciated about half from new and suddenly attainable. Amazing service at Porsche, Major Maintenance plus breaks were done. Porsche Certified with 2 year warranty. They don’t just take the trade in and flip it for a profit. Got a small taste of how the rich is treated. But I pray I don’t have to see them again(future repairs).
@@jamesgrant-lewis209 Actually cancelled my Macan purchase last year. But just bought a 2006 Porsche Cayman S. It’s much older but gives you a raw ride but still comfortable to use a daily. Love the sound of the flat six. There’s nothing like it and mid engine mount gives you handling like no other.
@@jamesgrant-lewis209, I have a 2021 Turbo and it's been great. Some little nit picks like the lip in the rear cargo area and the 360°camera system is only OK but she rips on the road and I see far more base and GTS models than the Turbo. I like that it's a less common version of the most common Porsche.
Did you get the Macan GTS? What issues have you run into with the Alfa? I was actually thinking the opposite since the 21 Giulia QV has seen some upgrades and I want a sedan with better driving dynamics. My Macan is a S not GTS so performance wise not on the same level. 2021 is the last model year that Macan still has physical buttons and a good looking front fascia, they just ruined the new look for me...
Excellent review! I own the Cayenne S with the same engine and I can't see the reason for more power? I can't use and all the power the 434 hp engine produces! This car will cruse all day long at 85-90 and it feels like your doing 60 MPH! Incredible Suv!
As a Porsche owner for over 10 years, my utmost unbias assessment is that only the Macan is a true daily driver and weekend track vehicle while others are regular shop visitors and driveway statues.
I like the macan and the lexus RX but i know the Porsche has better performance then the lexus but the lexus is very comfortable and beautifully built. I think it depends what a person is looking for in a vehicle.
I have doubt youve ever driven a stelvio quadrifoglio for more than a month. I've owned one for a year and I promise you, you never get sick of it. It's as comfortable as a macan. It might not look as luxury but there is no way a macan turbo give as much sensation as a quadrifoglio. You buy a performance SUV for the PERFORMANCE. And the 0 to 100 IS important, as is this how you burn people at the red-light without going over the speed limit ;)
I'm going through lemon law on my Giulia Quadrifoglio and getting a Macan GTS. I want nothing to do with Alfa Romeo, my motor knocked for 8,000mi before they would replace and it took 3months for a new motor.
He made this review 6 years after the launch of the Macan and I'm surprised he had to look up the position of the steering wheel heater button in the manual. P.s.: a man should not wear pink at all.
I really like the Macan, I think the steering is Sublime and the interior design layout is excellent. However, everything is over built and designed to be used at extremely high speeds. This results in things as simple as a brake job being ridiculously expensive. I don't go around town doing 0 to 60 in 4 seconds, and very few people do. So, this makes this car a complete waste of money, especially in repairs, in the long run.
I don’t know where you get your data from, but a Macan S is very reasonable in maintenance. I see the GTS and Turbo having expensive brakes, but overall they are similar to a BMW or Mercedes in running costs.
Porsche doesn't stand behind the quality of their vehicles. The transfer case on my 2015 Macan S has failed twice now in only 27,000 miles. This is a known issue which caused Porsche to extend their warranty to 7 ys. Their "improved" transfer case lasted only 2 years 2 months and 9,000 miles. I am out of warranty by 6 weeks and Porsche turns their back on problem and sticks me for $3,200 repair. Don't buy a Porsche w/o extended warranty for entire length of time you expect to own it. #1 rated warranty company - Endurance - won't even sell coverage on Macan. That should tell Porsche and all potential buyers something. Customer experience is far from an expected premium car brand experience.

Thanks! Happy new year and happy shopping! The GTS is a fantastic choice!

I have a Giulia Quadrifoglio, I'm getting rid of it for a Macan GTS. The Quadrifoglio is incredible performance but the reliability is awful.
Thanks for sharing this info. Hope you have a better experience with the GTS.

Thank you for the kind words! Enjoy your Cayenne!!!
Even if i dont like suv's this one....heeeelll yeah.... great car :)
The placement of buttons and switches is praiseworthy 😂😂😂
I have a 2021 and absolutely love having so many buttons.
"they don't mess up and produce the car that are not good " love porsche macan!
Great video! I want one now!
Make them two! Lol

Ok Here's another Macan Turbo driver comment.............Had mine five years..........the best everyday car I have ever owned @@MotorPressReviews

@@MotorPressReviews ya...because you got the truth and the others don't. How humble of you ;)
I loved the Stelvio, but I find it very hard to believe it can do 0-100km/h in under 4.0 seconds.

Very good review.
I have seen Macan GTS 2020 can do 0-100 km/h in 4.3s too.

When you drive 100 cars a year, it’s hard to remember small details. Also, pink is very stylish in Europe, and I am Greek so...
The Burmeister sound system IS better.......I know LOL
Agreed, it is waaaay better than the Bose and worth the price.

Learn how to wrench, make friends who can, or find a budget friendly Indy shop. Problem solved!

@@MotorPressReviews Agree I have owned BMW and now a Macan Turbo .....service costs are much the same r

I've driven both. This guy needs to chill. It's really actually not that good.
Unnecessarily fast and too expensive to repair and maintain.
