I get mad Scorpion vibes from Mortal Kombat with Bossk. Neutral characters always catch my interest ^w^ may his hunt continue, even if Disney screws us with woke propaganda
*Fun fact:* Bossk's last appereance in Legends was during the Yuuzhan Vong War. Near the end of the conflict, he was already retired and also met Han in a space station, mocking Chewbacca's death in Solo's face. This caused a fight that ended with both men being sent to detention cells

The fact that there is a species of Large Reptilian marauders, big and strong enough to square up to wookiees, and have a whole society based around the honor of hunting prey, is just plain awesome and why I they’re probably my favorite species in Star Wars. Also the ACP array gun in republic commando sounds amazing.

Trandoshans are way too underrated. Why can't we get more stuff with Trandos. Bossk is actually the best bounty hunter in my eyes. Sure, the Mandos are way better at it, but Trandos like Bossk looks way cooler and way scarier. Trandoshans actually look quite cute. That's just me though

I've always liked trandoshans I feel like they are great mix between Predators and Vikings It's not something you see very often, especially in kid friendly franchises Lore, behavior, design - it's all just so unique and yet somehow still fitting sw universe

Trandoshans are my favorite race. I once tried making a trandoshan, but the name generator came up with the name "Poggo Darzehk", so i gave him the nickname "Poggers". Raised in unusually civil conditions for a young scaly boi, he eventually fell into a gang of illegal speeder racers. After a massive racer bust that resulted in him losing his speeder, he discovered podracing on an annual vacation to tatooine. After meeting with Clegg Holdfast at a mos espa cantina after the boonta eve classic, Poggo decided to become a podracer pilot, mostly because he missed the adrenaline of racing. a pure adrenaline junkie, his pod was custom-built out of the remains of a scrapped Titan 2150, with all safety mechanisms removed. When asked about why he removed all of the safety devices, he would simply laugh and say he doesn't need them. To get through sharp turns, he employs a special technique he calls "slip-cancel" to sling his podracer sideways at incredible speed, engaging the booster the moment he regains forward momentum. This technique, unseen in any other pilot, has even managed to take Sebulba by surprise on a few occasions, simply because nobody knows when or where he'll slide into the lead with his engines completely sideways, or zip by at top speed when his opponent is still accelerating from the turn. While he is a very dangerous opponent to tussle with on the track, he's far from evil due to his upbringing on coruscant, at worst being an abrasive jerk. as such, he records his races with cameras in his pod, and to date is the only racer to catch sebulba's cheating and live to tell the tale. Unfortunately, this really got to the Dug, who now has Poggo in his sights, and he is bent on revenge.
So you basically dreamt up a giant space lizard man, gave him a british nickname and made him invent pod drifting? You should really consider making this into a full story, I'm genuinely interested in what this character would get up to during the wars and all that.
@@torgejh9189 i'm actually in the process of writing one. i've since made a few changes. his name has been changed to "Syh" (as in sigh), and instead of getting into podracing because of meeting clegg, he instead takes clegg's place by entering as a backup racer. this is when he first employs his pod-drifting, passing sebulba in the entrance to the arena, his pod just barely grazing Sebulba's. an impressive feat given just how big titan 2150 engines are (see Ratts Tyrell)
I always figured that the Saurin came from Trandoshans who were kidnapped by Rakatans and genetically engineered to make a servant species: smaller, less hostile, and with greater dexterity.

the trandoshans were always interesting to me, the thing i loved most was their faith: the score keeper technically keeps score in all things, so a trandoshan doesn't have to be a hunter to get a good score in their faith. they could be a doctor where their score is a number of patients they've helped, or anything else really.
The War of the Bounty Hunters one-shots were some of the best parts of the series in the comics. Still have to see the IG-88 one as it didn't turn up to review. The Bossk one was cool
The kids adorably stalking each other throughout the house is news to me. I distinctly recall that the first thing any living Trandoshan ever did was devouring his/her siblings who were unfortunate enough to hatch after them.
It wouldn't surprise me if that was just something Boosks family does, or if it's just more of a case by case kinda deal. I could imagine a lot of Trandoshan families going out of their way to make sure that doesn't happen, especially as more outside influence appears in their culture.
I think it’s worth noting that the largest finger on their hands looks like it’s a fusion of two different fingers to become a larger one, at least in Bossk’s BF2 model

I read the Bounty Hunter Wars. While reading the book, it noted that the baby Trandoshan’s would eat the weaker siblings. This would insure the stronger more dominant Trandoshan would live and hunt.
This probably varies from family to family. The Trandoshans are a multifaceted people after all and I imagine opinions on child rearing change depending on the era and location on the planet.
Since moral relativism is apparently a part of Trandoshan thinking perhaps a trando jedi would see the light side of the force as a manifestation of the scorekeeper seeking more esoteric ways to provide and cash in points.
I actually had like a friend group of Star Wars people like me and the group was called the trandoshan clan, I was the leader with my best friend being second in command. We got bullied a little bit, they mainly called us the trans gender dolphins. We built a small fort with a tree and some logs, yes this was at school. Some people we trying to break it and we’re forgetting that I was the designer for the fort, it still came along good. Sadly good things must come to an end, before the end of the year half the people left the clan and the next year my friend left the school then everyone left the clan but 2 people so I decided to stop it. He was my best friend and got me through that year, since I got constantly harassed through it. The fort was still standing till almost the end of the 1st quarter but one the people who harassed me who was really dumb, decided to sit on the top of the barely standing logs of a fort. The only thing that reminded me of my friend at that school (which we couldn’t barely ever visit) was destroyed. Some older people tried to fix it, but it will never be the same. I love trandoshans because I have a lizard named uno, and they are fascinating creatures. I hope everyone who reads this will not make fun of people for what they love. I say this because I have been bullied before and sometimes what you love can get you through it.

The fort was still standing till almost the end of the 1st quarter but one the people who harassed me who was really dumb, decided to sit on the top of the barely standing logs of a fort. The only thing that reminded me of my friend at that school (which we couldn’t barely ever visit) was destroyed. Some older people tried to fix it, but it will never be the same. I love trandoshans because I have a lizard named uno, and they are fascinating creatures. I hope everyone who reads this will not make fun of people for what they love. I say this because I have been bullied before and sometimes what you love can get you through it.
Keep your head up, my friend! Know that bullies always lose in the end, and so long as you focus on the things that make you happy and keep moving forward, you will always outpace them.
