Kristy I can’t properly express how much I love your interviews! My geeky nerdy heart loves all the stories. Everyone’s story is so interesting and unique and the Myak story was awesome. Thanks for finding all these great people and places and sharing their stories with us.
This is your best interview Kristy! So informative and I love knowing about the Yak. I am purchasing a kit from Myak and cannot wait to get it. Im so proud of that purchase. I love supporting companies like this.
I love natural coloured wool. So hard to source so its great that you highlighted their lovely yarn. I predict that people will move back towards more earthy colours and will expand their repertoire to diverse yarns. Speckles, sparkles and pops are wonderful but I love, prefer and suit tweeds, heathers, and browns, greys, forest greens, deep dark reds and of course naturally organic dyed or natural coloured yarns. I love the indepth interviews with the people themselves and not just product intensive. Its really a great watch from beginning to end. xo
I am so happy I took the time to watch this. I am on my way to Vogue Knitting Live in Seattle tomorrow and I am after that AT LEAST a skein of chocolate brown! I can't wait.
This was the best, best interview of all! I have a few friends that learned Chinese for our Bible teaching work, so I was very interested in her explanation in the Chinese and Tibetan culture. I would love to purchase some of the burgundy dyedover yarn. Wish I lived near by there to work with her! Great selection of people,Kristy!
Kristy, please stop calling yourself an Ignorant American! You are not ignorant. Most people in the world do not know about Tibet, because it's been a pretty closed society for most of our lives. You are a Curious and Lovely American! Keep asking good questions. We are all learning something new here!
Just wondering if you can clarify what I thought I heard. The co owner of MYak said something about a shop in the West Village. Was this a shop supporting Tibet, or does she have a shop where she sells her yarn...thanks so much. Planning ahead for Vogue Knitting Live NYC
