When I take Under One Rule and get Keides I like to think that its the Luminary who raises Keides as an adoptive parent
Imo the luminary should be considered a paragon. Also the luminary would definitely raise Keides as their son and heir should they ever die.

to be fair the care taker managed to keep the people inside alive long enough that what killed them wasn't sustanance shortages but running out of air

@@TheRedKing Yes! But I think it's fun that everyone is so trusting. Players learn that they can trust the text or should risk trusting it, within the patterns of the game system. It's quite fun and funny either way. In "real life" a celestial visitor would never be trusted with anything
I play with max primitives on so when it when it first came out, I got the beholder every game for like at least three games . I didn’t even realise it was uncommon until I looked it up.
So rare that I never met any of them in game.
amen to that, i got well over 1k hours in Stellaris and have never gotten a single legendary paragon
Weird. In my last 5 playthroughs, I've seen the Caretaker in 4, Mercedes Romero 3 times, Keides in the 2 most recent (one was a devouring swarm, so we ate him or something), and I've had a chance at Oakenstalk in every single one, I just didn't wait until I had genetics in all but one. The only one I haven't had is the beholder, though I've had potential access to the necessary events at least once I think.
@@danielhavoc889 I wish I had this amount of luck like in one of my games I’m pretty sure I had the bird admiral gate in one of my systems but he never appeared

I've seen the rest quite often really, but actually realized after watching I MAY have seen the Beholder a good while ago, and just made it a warship.
I found the Beholder very early into a spiritualistic fanatic purifiers game. With it at the head of my navy I was able to conquer a solid fourth of the galaxy very early in the game by hard focussing ships with anti armor capabilities. Once I started snowballing I settled him onto my home world and got psionics early as well and put him on my council. I wanted to turn it into my ruler but it wasn't possible as I was imperial. I had no idea it was as rare as it was.

I have been playing for so long but have never been able to get the Gaia world creating one.
She is the most common of the legendary ones funnily enough. X% chance to spawn every 5 years iirc

i had caretaker in my last playthough.. the baol honestly seems common, as long as you get the rift you can garentee aquiring him (if you're not machine anyway..) never seen the others. closest i got was getting part of the relic but it never continued for w/e reason
I think you either need to have some technologies or certain ethics to get him, I don't know exactly, but I remember I didn't have an option to modify baol to get Oakenstalk on some playthroughs
@@evgzarproductions2752 ive only not had the option when ive played (gastalt) machines... whenever i play a biological empire its always an option that shows up for me.
@@darcraven01 I'm on a playthrough of rogue servitors and got him so it might be that you need some gene modification tech to get him (although I play with mods so there might be some weird interaction there).
@@BetonKundySlap i think i'm going to run some tests. i'll do some games (with AI turned off so they dont take the rift). one will be with a normal biological empire researching everything (this is the control run), one will be a test about avoiding everything related to genetic modification, one will avoid anything related to cybernetic modifications (if either of those fail than i wont need the next one) one avoiding both. then i'll do the same tests but with a hive mind. then i'll test non-gestalt machines. iive alrwady come across it with gestalt machines and had an entirely seperate option than the normal three (i forget what it was cuz it sucked. lol). might take a while (as im getting ready to move) but i'll try to post my findings here when complete (if i remember.. maybe ping this comment in a month or two if i havent posted anything yet. lol)
(alternatively you can run the tests yourself if you dont wanna wait on me. i planned to use the riftworld origin to rush rift tech and toggle off AI in the console commands so they didnt get in the way. maybe rush tech as needed, spawn fleets, and w/e else as needed just to rush things.. no mods though)

I've had The Beholder in all of the last three games I've played. I'm surprised that it is considered rare.
I never take the Oaken dude because I like the flamethrower teams better.
I've actually seen the beholder a few times. Unfortunately, I only got to recruit it once. It is possible to fail to recruit it, even if you find it.
mm I guess you could not finish the event, and thus not get the leader.

The first and only time I've run into the Beholder was in like my 3rd game after Paragons launched. Got it SUPER EARLY, like 2120 or something, and started pumping out psychic pops. It was a great boon when I became the crisis but I ultimately lost that game. Never seen it since, didn't know it was that rare until much later. I've actually never seen Oaken Stalk.
i have gotten the beholder twice after playing the game for over 7000 hours its very rare i have also gotten everything else on the list i love stellaris
I have Keides in my current game, completed his quest for the achievement, and had Mercedes Romero in two(?) previous games. When I say two, I had a Blorg join in a previous game, I just don't remember if it was her or not.
Wait, the monolith is rare? I found it on my first ever playthrough with galactic paragons, I think I might still have the save
Edit: opened an old modded save (without mods enabled so it might be a bit messed up from here on out), and there it was, just chilling in space.
i got atleast 4 of 5, i might have gotten the beholder before but i dont think so, gotta say the boal paragon is great for pumping out land armies.
I have had all of these except for Mercedes Romero. The Beholder was in a robotic run of mine though, thus I couldnt really benefit from its psionic granting feature.

on my multiple playtru i only get 1 beholder, 2 keidas but never get the first 3 paragon

what's the console commands for legendary paragon's?
on Stellaris wiki, but event paragon.1 or 100 is beholder iirc
i did one, but then, well, a coalission bigger than mine attacked me and well, just say will deal with it next day, and it continued to be unplayed until a next up date where i forgot it
I think I've gotten them all, maybe aside from the scion one, I think I turned that one down because I xenophobic and didnt want to take any aliens in.
it's my fifth play through of figuring out how to play and i got two of them. Damm I got lucky. Too bad I thought it was a good idea to become a crisis with two neighbouring fallen empire.

I haven't gotten Keides once. I don't think his system has even spawned in any of the 1000 Galaxy I have played. I need that dam achievement
I only got him once when galactic paragons released, and few times I saw his system controlled by other empires

@@cadis4257 It's not like I have that achievement either (and honestly I don't even know what achievement you are talking about), I was crushed by another empire who took big part of my territories and I abandoned this playthrough

I've gotten all those paragons. Honestly Oakenstalk isn't even rare. I get the boal astral rift in two of every three games I play. I've only had the beholder once but for some reason I don't remember I didn't continue that game for long so I never really had the change to use it. I didn't realize how rare it was at the time.
