So while watching this, at 3:28 in, my Stellaris game in the background loaded and as you said "Ingesting a neightbors pet" the game responds with "Excelent!" and I paused there as I had burst into fits of laughter when I found out that it came from my game xD
In my current game, I got #2 very early. And let me tell you, the boost it gave me allowed me to take control of two-thirds of the Galaxy by the mid game. I can now build my own titans, but it is still a part of my main fleet.
Doctor McKay and "Puddle Jump", Colonel Carter? I see what you did there. I've discovered the church multiple times, but never the station. It seems that's not the only relic I've missed in the dame way.
I played so much Stellaris that I even remember some of the responses like "Let's hope for some juicy confessions!". And I would love to read some books with C.A.R.E. 😔
9:47 McKay? Puddlejumper? Wasn't that the scientist who was reprimanded for intentionally activating a fallen empire super-weapon that blew up two-thirds of the solar system it was in
He activated an unstable Lantian power supply that drew vacuum energy from this space/time, resulting in quantum rips and damages the energy was sent into the weapon to discharge but it overloaded destroying 2/3 of the solar system

Do you know of the Crystalline Empire? They are a deeply rare Enclave that can only spawn on a new System very close to the Galactic Core called “The Outer Gate” they have a set portrait, traits, and special abilities they can grant you in exchange for something every now and then… now what really fascinates me is how they talk about a mysterious “Homeworld” that is “like a dream” but can’t tell us more as “that would be the end of it” This is super fascinating because Astral Planes revealed to us that the Galactic Core is inhabited by the Formless…so, where does the Crystalline Empire come from? Machine Age revealed the Supermassive Black Hole at the center of the Galaxy leads directly to the Shroud…so, are the Crystalline Empire Shroud beings who gained physical forms? Maybe…but their pops are never Psychic, and their technology, although enigmatic, is still relatively conventional…

Your videos are how I recently found Stellaris. My lord, Your videos are wonderful. I can't find in your archives any videos on Necrophages civilizations, though I might be missing them...there is a lot to dig into with this channel. Thank yoy again for all you do
Everyone else got the SG-1 reference, but I caught Dr (Lucy) Heartfilia, finder of the Rubricator. Now I'm going to have to rewatch all your videos looking for other references.
Yeah, i get that pros can achieve a lot of with min-maxing. But getting 100k fallen empire fleets in the midgame is insanely strong for normal players like me.
@@TheCerbariI think it's a bit hit or miss, I can't remember for sure but I think it can still appear in games without that fallen empire. Meaning it's just there for the passive.

No, it's a stargate reference
