I had not heard of Jackie until one day years back, I bought a Classical Cd for a business road trip. This song by her came on and it just completely made my skin tingle. I played it over and over again not realising I was listening to the voice of a 10 year old. I googled her and almost crashed my car when I saw this beautiful young lady with the voice of an angel. I rushed out and bought her first CD Dream with Me as well as the DVD. I spent months playing her music and asking friends and family to guess who she was....LOL. To this day she is the most talented and promising young classical singer ever to bless us with her music. Thank you Jackie.....what a joy to hear you and to this day Nella Fantasia is owned by you and it will remain my favourite song of all time!
When not singing, Jackie is a girl with a cute talking voice and a cute smiling face and cute two hands waving. But on stage, it seems like she is possessed by some other higher spirit with mature devine voice and sincere facial expression. And two arms move like ones attached to wings fluttering to hover above. She produces supernatural feeling as if I’m in the presence of a real angel.
After all these many years, people are now on 11-30-23 discovering the finest female voice during the 20th and now 21st century. Not only the tone of her voice goes unmatched but so does the way she articulates every nuance of detail that the song demands after being stylized by her. She has performed a massive amount of music during the past 23 years. Listen to her on quality audio equipment.

It's not reasonable to think she hasn't developed better technique, more authentic emotion from deeper understanding, along with expanded range, greater control and finesse as well as a more powerful mezzo timbre. Her voice better suits her age now, as one would expect, leaving the phenomenon aspect behind. Her clear tonal quality is just as impressive, and she has retained other qualities that make her a unique vocalist.
This DWM PBS Great Performance special was shot over several days and I heard it cost over a million dollars to produce. However it was at the time the highest producing fund raisers for PBS
